When my friend Amanda asked me to read this book with her I was pretty excited.
This is the story about twenty-something Kim who is a secretary in law firm by day, and a book blogger by night.
Even though the premise sounded promising, I can’t say that my expectations were high.

In this short chick-lit we follow Kim who runs a successful book blog.
She has a crush on a guy who works in the same firm as her, and the story gets interesting when her high-school enemy is about to publish her debut chick

NEWS ALERT: I've released a follow-up to Blogger Girl called Novelista Girl which was published on 1/4/2016. If you enjoyed Blogger Girl and want to catch up with Kim, Nicholas, and the gang, check it out!

Since Goodreads allows the author to rate her own book, I can't resist. I'm giving it 5 stars because I can't imagine rating a book that gave me so much pleasure to write and publish anything else. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

I read it again as part of the editi

It's a book about a book blogger. And when I heard that, I just had to read this.

This book is funny and witty and struck a place close to my heart. I really enjoyed it all. Apart from the artichoke. Eew. I don't like artichoke. I have highlighted so many quotes that half of this is now pink on my kindle.

Although I had almost twenty unread books on my Kindle, I was incapable of leaving a bookstore empty handed and made my way to the cash register.

I liked how complex the characters were. They were

Oh, gosh, where to begin? I have so many things I want to say about this fabulous book, which has been one of the bright spots in my reading year so far. Sassy, sexy, endlessly entertaining, and full of laughs (as well as some heart-wrenching moments), Blogger Girl is one of those books that keeps you up late at night because you can't wait to find out what happens next!

I instantly related to heroine Kim Long as she's a writer and blogger who's a fan of Chick Lit, the girliest and most upbeat of

5 incredible stars! I was lucky enough to get an ARC of Blogger Girl, and I loved it. Like Sophie Kinsella's writing, Meredith Schorr's novels seem effortless. This is the third book that I've read by her, and she is one of my favorite authors. Blogger Girl is delicious chick lit--a smart, hilarious, action-packed story with characters who jump off the page and into your heart. With a fresh and contemporary look at the inside world of book bloggers, Blogger Girl made my heart pound with every pa ...more

A favorite chick lit author has done it again! This is the most fitting cover. I love the graphics and the colors. Nicholas has his trademark stubbles in the picture too!

Having read Meredith's other book and being a huge chick lit fan I knew I would love this. So if it is your genre and you adore chick lit then this is a sure thing, 5 star, gushing sort of read. What I loved the most was being a blogger I totally related to Kim. She was in a lack luster job and the bright spot was her books. Sh

The second I opened up to the first page I knew I could relate to this book. I’ve always been interested in working at a law office and LOVE to read and review books. I generally spend most of my free time with a book in my face, so I completely knew how Kim felt as she talked about how she stands in line at Starbucks with a book, stays up all night reading, cries at the end, and so on. Yep, I feel ya girl. The premise of the story is just so different from other stories, and Meredith Schorr did ...more

When you've got a good job, you write a popular blog, and the cute guy in the office down the hall is going out of his way to talk to you, you'd think your life is all set, right? Right? Kimberly Long is a real and real funny 20-something who's to juggle it all in New York City. Then she finds out her high school nemesis has written a book, and she's been asked to review it. As Kim bumbles through nights on the town, encounters with Nick, her real feelings about career, love life, and friendship ...more

Fun book

Blogger Girl is a sweet, light, and quick read. It has believable characters, friendship, spitefulness, and romance. Most of it is predictable but the author did surprise me a few times. If you are fan of chick lit, this is the book for you.

This was such a fun summer read for me, and my thanks to the author for the Advanced Reader copy. This novel is no cliche chick-lit read, which I loved. Kimberly gets the guy right up front, not during some "happy ending" like most novels of this genre. It's what she does with that relationship that drives a great deal of the storyline. There are other delightful surprises as well, such as a little twist concerning her nemesis. You'll also enjoy how up to the minute this book is, with myriad ref ...more

I was very lucky to receive an ARC. It was the first book by the author I read, and definitely not the last one!

I absolutely loved this feel-good-book. A fantastic chick lit with plenty of office humor and romance.

The main character Kimberly, is absolutely adorable and I can see a bit of myself in her :) I loved her friends and also her enemies.

The best bit for me was the trip to the spa. Hilarious!!

So my rating is a "5 flutes" for you Meredith and... you have a new massive fan here!

It’s very rare that a book is so good that I read it entirely within a 12 hour period. But that is the situation with Blogger Girl by Meredith Schorr. I will admit that I can especially relate to this book as a former paralegal and current author and blogger myself. However, this is a book that any girl will find relatable.

Kimberly Long is a full-time legal secretary with her own chick-lit book blog. She’s also majorly crushing on Nicholas, the hot associate who works in the same firm. Kimberly

Kim Strong is a girl that I think I'd be friends with. She reminded me a LOT of myself. Working to get by, despite being bored to tears at my job, and kind of drifting along, not allowing anything to change. She also can hold a grudge, much like me, and cherishes her closest friends above all else, again like me. Seriously. This book was like reading a what if I'd actually moved to New York after college like I had planned.
This was a really fun story. I enjoyed the dialogue, the misadventures, a

I absolutely loved Meredith Schorr's first two books, Friends with Benefits and A State of Jane, so I was super stoked for the chance to read an advance copy of Blogger Girl. And I enjoyed every last page of it!

One of the best things about Meredith's novels is the sense of community she builds up around her characters. Kim Long has a fabulous group of friends and a delightful group of coworkers, and all of these secondary characters are very well developed. I don't know if this says something qu

I was given an ecopy of this book for an honest review. I am so glad! What’s more fun than writing a review about chick lit about a girl who writes reviews about chick lit?

I really enjoyed this book. I have only been blogging/reviewing for a few months but it’s obvious that Meredith Schorr did her homework. She was spot on when describing the process.

Blogger Girl is funny but it also made me cry at the end. It’s easy to relate to Kim. She has typical female feelings of insecurity when in a new

I received this book as an ARC e-book from Meredith Schorr. I absolutely LOVED this book! I was only at 30% earlier today and started reading it and couldn't put it down. I love the characters and fell in love with Nicholas and Kim's characters. I think most people can relate to this book because there is a girl like Hannah in everyone's high school. The story line was excellent! The ending made me cry and laugh at the same time and I love books that can do that.

I saw that Melissa Amster at Chick Lit Central had given this book five stars and since I value her opinion, I bought the Kindle edition. I really enjoyed this book - great storyline, fun characters, and a very well-written plot. This is the first book by Meredith Schorr that I've read and I can't wait to read more! I loved the main character and could see myself being friends with her if she were a real person. Like her, I've often looked at a certain former classmate and felt that familiar pinch of insecurity from those school days. Did I enjoy this book? I really did enjoy Blogger Girl. It was a fun read that many chick lit lovers, bloggers, and romantics will enjoy. And if you ever wanted to know a bit about the life of a blogger, pick up this book. It's a pretty good glimpse! Kimberly Long, the 'Blogger Girl' in Meredith Schorr's new novel has worked tirelessly to build her book blog, Pastel is the New Black, into an online chick lit destination. But, ruh-roh! Look out. Just before a high school reunion, Kimberly learns that her high school nemesis, Hannah Marshak, has just written a chick lit novel, Cut on the Bias, and is looking for coverage on Kimberly's blog.

When a copy of Cut on the Bias arrives, a romantic chick lit novel set in the glamorous fashion world of

I'd read Meredith Schorr's previous novel, A State of Jane and really enjoyed it, so was keen to read Blogger Girl. As an avid reader and someone who also writes a lot of book reviews, I was even more interested to read this particular book. The story skips along well, with the sexy Nicholas introduced early on, as a work colleague who the protagonist, Kim, fantasises about. The novel was a little racier than I'd
