Seriously!!! This series keeps getting better and better, so much so that it remains one of my all time favorites, and my absolute fav from Lani Lynn Vale.

Bowe we have met long ago at the beginning of the series and he has been a standing feature all throughout it, making small cameos where it’s been pointed out more than once by the previous heroines what a delicious catch he is with his smoking hot looks and his irresistible deep voice.

Angie we meet on the previous book, Controlled Burn, were

I have loved some of this author's books, but I feel like things are getting pushed towards scenerios I don't like. I'm on the fence about this

February 2017 --

I tried this author again and just can do it.

She writes at such a simpleton level, I can't do it. I find her sentence structure and grammar so problematic, I forget to pay attention to the story.

I'm not an English language wonk. I think I'm pretty accepting -- in my experience, more than most. However, I read to relax and when I find myself having to piece a sentence and/or a paragraph together to make sense of it ... just too much work. Not worth my time and certainly not enj

I can’t put my finger on exactly why Lani Lynn Vale’s books are my “crack” but I can tell you multiple reasons why she is an auto buy and a read the book as soon as I get my hands on it author. Her books always have strong, sexy, caring alpha males, sassy, imperfect, strong, caring females, strong emotions, smoking hot sex, angst but not too much, great secondary characters, appearances from past characters, no cheating, hilarious interactions between characters, beautiful HEAs and

Enjoyable fast read. A strong romance is paired rather a rather weak conflict. I love the characters and their dialogue. So much humor and smexy times. My one wish is for Vale to either commit to the subplots or just leave them out. She often has multiple going in the story and gives just enough to infer they have a specific purpose to the story. Then they either fade to nothing or are resolved with no real intent.

Put Out is the fifth and final installment in Lani Lynn Vale’s Kilgore Fire series. I have loved every single book in this entire series, but I think this one was my favorite. Writing about every day, real-life heroes is something Vale does exceptionally well. Mingling her outrageous sense of humor with a whole lot of heat, she never fails to turn out a special romance.

Bowe was such a great guy, the total package, and I’ve been anxiously waiting for his story. All he wanted was what his friends

Put Out by Lani Lynn Vale was a book that I could not put down! I was starting to get into another book funk and decided to read Put Out because I had a feeling that this would be one book that I knew going in that I would absolutely love and that is exactly what happened. I honestly think this is my favorite book by Ms. Vale yet!

Bowe and Angie will not only have your emotions all over the place but they will bec

I wish I didn't have to do this because I love most of LLV's books but this one was a total dud. I won't use any spoilers because I still love this author's other work but I am very disappointed in this book. I'm shocked that it got such high ratings. Even if I wanted to use spoilers, it would take me too long to discuss all the issues with this book. Needless to say, the h was an idiot and on top of that, the book was so over the top with drama that it go completely unrealistic. It got to the p ...more

another fantastic read from this author. probably the only author I don't think twice about purchasing or pre-ordering.

her stories are fantastic with a great balance of happiness, Angst, sexiness and great humour.
her character are always lovable even when they are being turds. and the storyline flows seamlessly throughout. I'm never bored. I'm always surprised and all round I love this author so it doesn't take much for me love any one of her books.

I loved this one just like all the rest. Ill c

One aspect of Lani Lynn Vale’s stories that I love is her portrayal of realistically flawed heroes and heroines. Her characters struggle with issues that readers can empathize with and connect to in a way that helps them see they’re not only in the shitty things that can happen in life. And, regardless of how frustrated we get with how her characters behave and the stupid decisions they make, we can’t help but understand the reasons behind those actions…the reasons behind the walls and attitudes ...more

Oh goodness this book was a hot mess. I have to say as much as I love Mrs. Vale's books and with how often she releases her books. I think every third or fourth book that comes out, ends up not working for me. I'm not saying that it was this way for this one. And even though this book was a hot mess it ended up working really for this book.

Oh Bowe, or Bowen, what can I say about him? Well he's not very lucky at relationships. He's as sweet as can be. And he wears his heart on his sleeve. And
Angie was raised with a loving mother, sister, and brother but the one person she thought she could count on, her father, destroyed her faith in men. When she got pregnant by her idiot ex, she knew she wouldn't be putting herself out there again.

Bowen Tannenbaum sees something special in Angie and he wants to explore with her, problem is everytime he asks her out she refuses. When Bowe comes to her rescues she finds herself taking care of him and all that attraction that is sizzling between the

As scared as I was to dive into Put Out by Lani Lynn Vale I can, with a sigh of relief, say that its story wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be considering the responses I've had to the latest releases by Vale.

Put Out goes down in my book as Vale's third interracial story, the first two being Jack and Tai's stories (I am pretty sure they were both Native American). I love diversity in stories that I read whether it's in the characters backgrounds, race, or religion, so for Angie to

5 stars fir the final installment

So yes the final installment of our fire guys But as you know they show up often in various books. The men of Lani cross over and if we are lucky from several series ...

Bowe and Angie ... First of all let's just say the Lanisms as I call them are off the charts on this release. These are the little snippets of goodness we get quoted prior to get chapter. Love them ... it's like the boom to the book.

Second let's talk Bowen. This

* Unpopular Opinion Alert * Upon reading the dedication I was curious as to how this story would play out. I have to admit I'm disappointed. The dedication was so full of fire, passion and determination it was almost palpable and I wanted to see that damaged father/daughter relationship explored in the book. What I got was a sprinkling of a sentence here or a small paragraph there, but nothing that made sense. Clearly the dedication was heartfelt and personal and

Lani has done this series and this book justice with the way she always draws a reader in and captivates them with her storytelling. This book is indescribable and I'm at a lost for words to show you how this book made me feel, but I'll try. Angie to me is a fighter after having her father leave and start a whole new family along with new daughters she felt as if she would always be replaceable. Enter Bowe who not so lucky with the ladies

Another great story to add to our wonderful collection of Lani Lynn Vale books. Bowe & Angie's story had just the perfect amount of drama and suspense. Let me not forget to mention the steaming hot love scenes. One that comes to my mind would have to be when Bowe cannot contain himself any longer and must have a piece of Angie ASAP! Never mind that they are at school, in a classroom, with other students outside passing by in the hall. But wait did I mention that Bowe is her teacher for said

Have to say, I liked the story.

However, the way the book was written in a way that felt kind of disjointed or dare b'day haphazardly. It was almost like things were thrown in, in totally the wrong place, to fill in back stories.. then the drama that unfolded was beginning to feel like filler to get enough words in so it didn't come off as a short story. Don't get me wrong, I read everything this author puts out and will continue to do so. It's just that part of me wants to say settle down and th

Another fantastic book in the Kilgore fire series. This is the story of Bowe and Angie. As with all lani's other books I could not put this down, read it in one sitting. It kept me on my toes and had some hot and steamy scenes in too. Loved it!

Grab your ereader, phone, kindle, nook, whatever you read on and get sucked into Bowe and Angie's story.

Lani Lynn Vale is probably the only author that I will actually stop reading whatever I currently on my kindle to start her book for. Just knowing that I have one of her books sitting on my e-reader and not actually reading it is just too much for me, I simply can’t cope!
So when Put Out barrelled onto my screen, I was all set.
The story is about Bowe and Angie and is another in the Kilgore Fire Series, if you haven’t read them yet…what the heck are you waiting for you are missing out big time!

Just leave me in Kilgore…
I race, not walk, when I know that another Kilgore Fire book is waiting for me! This author knows just the right balance of angst, drama and humour to make each outing a must-read. Angie and Bowe’s story was just what I needed to get me out of a blue January funk! It’s not to say that this was an uber-sweet love story, far from it. Instead, there are characters who struggle with everyday life happenings, riding the same roller coaster of highs, middles and lows that we a
