This plot actually doesn’t make sense. If the thief was on Monday morning after working the whole night, then he entered the museum on Sunday when the museum was supposed to be closed. How could he gone around the museum on the first day pretending to be a tourist. It is like this total plot failure that should have been obvious

Very funny and charming little story of Mars. Made me laugh a couple times. Interesting lore too, which is to be expected from Clarke.

A short story about crime on Mars and some of the unique challenges. Early story, doesn't really even seem like his later work.
