Meet the reclusive Omidyar and learn that his company’s success lies in its philosophy that community is important above all else. eBay’s users – if you consider them employees – number the second largest in the world, only behind Wal-Mart.
If you have to write a paper about a business person, this may be the book for you. Some biographical information on the founder of Ebay is mixed in with too much information about computers and the internet in general. I found it dry reading and gave it 3 stars because I once met Omidyar and he was a nice guy.
