Savanna Gray’s life is turned upside down when her husband is arrested and charged with the rapes of three women, one of them in their town. It doesn’t take long for life in Nephi, Utah to become intolerable so she packs up and moves with her two young children to her parents abandoned property in Silver Springs, California. Upon arrival, she meets her only neighbor in the remote street, Gavin Turner. He’s a carpenter, plays in a band and is pretty charming. He was also a resident of New Horizon ...more
Right Where We Belong is a suspense contemporary romance by a master of romance writing, Brenda Novak.

After realizing her husband was arrested as a rapist, Savanna takes her children and herself to her unused family land in Silver Springs. Escaping the attacks and gossip mill of the locals in Utah. The home is in extreme disrepair and if it wasn’t for her kind neighbor Gavin her initial trip across the old bridge would have ended them all the creek.

Savanna is caught between believing her husband

I love this series! I hope she continues with the last few brothers from Horizon Ranch School. Gavin is so sweet but also very sexy. Heather got on my last nerve. Savannah was perfect for Gavin. A very brave woman. Mystery, romance, some humor, sex and a very good story!

I'm very sad to say this, but this is my last book by Brenda Novak.

Brenda Novak has been a regular on my book tbr shelf over the last few years. I fell in love with her small town series Whiskey Creek. She gave me one of my rare 5 star reads  with When Snow Falls. I adored the bad boy persona of Dylan. He spoke to me in all kinds of ways - especially his sexy and confident demeanor made me swoon all over. This book will always be on my keeper shelf and I'll remember Brenda Novak fondly

Right Where We Belong brought me right back to Silver Springs, where I followed the complicated romance between Savanna and Gavin. There was quite a bit of suspense surrounding them, and that wasn't the only thing working against them.

I have read almost all of Brenda Novak's books, but I think this just may be my favorite one of all. I know, I've said that about others too, but this one just grabbed me from the first paragraph and didn't let go.

I felt from the first time they met that Savanna and Gavin were meant to be together, but there is a lot of baggage for each of them. Savanna's (hopefully) soon-to-be-ex husband, is in jail for raping three women. Detectives are still trying to find more than circumstantial evidence th

FINAL DECISION: This story was okay, but I thought it was too complicated by other relationships so that the main romance suffered. I liked the suspense aspect, but wanted more between the hero and heroine.

THE STORY: Savanna Gray has come to Silver Springs with her two young children running from her discovery that her husband was actually a rapist. He's in jail claiming he is innocent, her mother in law blames Savanna for failing to support him, and the towns people blame Savanna for not recogn

alright, i am officially done with brenda novak.

sometimes i see a book on netgalley, find out it's part of a series, request the book and then immediately get the other books in the series from the library or amazon. which is ridiculous, i don't even know if i will like the series but i am committing myself to -in this case- 4 books. anyway, sometimes this works out for me, other times by the time i get to the netgalley book, i am dreading reading it. i realise i could just read the netgalley bo

Right Where We Belong is a contemporary romance with a bit of suspense. Savanna's husband has been arrested for attacking women and everyone in her hometown is pointing their fingers at her accusing her of knowing what he had done. She decides she can't stay and packs up and moves her kids to Silver Springs.
The chemistry between Savanna and Gavin is off the charts. Neither of them are looking for a relationship. I loved the banter between Savanna and Gavin at the beginning. I actually laughed o

Right Where We Belong is a light contemporary romance, and kept me engaged until the end. After Savanna's husband gets arrested, she decides to take refuge in Silver Spring. There her parents left her an old house that needs major renovations. She wants to start over with her two children and decides that Silver Springs fits the bill. When she arrives she meets her only neighbor, Gavin. I really loved how Gavin and Savanna me

With every book I read in this series, I become more involved in the characters.

Upon meeting Savanna, Gavin Turner knew his life was about to change.

He met her as she was about to cross a washed out bridge to get to a rundown home that she had inherited. Gavin did what he could to help Savannah with the house as she was running from her recent past. Savannah was a single mother with 2 children and the man she was married was accused of raping women and currently in jail.

Gavin and Savannah soon f

You can always count on Brenda Novak to write a compelling book that makes you want to keep reading regardless of your other responsibilities. I was so happy to be settled down with another of her books and immediately felt hooked. This is far more than your average romance.

As someone who makes a hobby out of reading true crime books, the threads of that theme that I found in this fiction book satisfied me far more than a basic boy meets girl romance. Still, as a romance, this is fantastic. The
Savanna Gray's life is a horror movie right now. She can't believe that her husband and college sweetheart, Gordon, has been arrested for attacking and raping three women. No one in the town of Nephi, Utah can imagine that Savanna didn't know what her husband was up to but she didn't. After one too many verbal attacks, Savanna takes her children and moves them to the rundown farmhouse in Silver Springs, California that she and her brother own. Her children know what their father has done and are ...more

Right Where We Belong had everything I expect out of Brenda Novak’s work: sweet romance, multidimensional characters, realistic drama, and a lovely HEA.

Brenda Novak is on a roll with her Silver Springs series. And this latest installment packed in a ton of emotion along with a nice edge of suspense. So far I’ve enjoyed all the characters we’ve met and the townsfolk (for the most part), with the small town charm of Silver Springs completely apparent. With

This is the 4th book in the Silver Spring series. In this story Savanna is devastated after finding out her husband was arrested for raping women. Everywhere she turned in the small town in Utah she is accosted by people who thinks she should have known what her husband did. After not being able to handle the grasp of community she moves to Silver Springs in her family beat up home. As she gets there the first night she's introduce to her neighbor Gavin who lets her know the bridge that connects ...more

This is my new favorite in this Silver Springs series, even though I have stated those words before in a previous review. All of these books are superb! Brenda Novak knows how to pull you into a story and never lets up until the last page. One of the two main characters is Savanna Gray, who is forced by the community’s treatment of her to move from Nephi, Utah and start a new life elsewhere with her two young children, Branson and Alia. My Review:
After being attacked in front of her kids in the grocery store, Savanna has had it with living where she and the husband she obviously never knew had their home. Fortunately, she has a backup. She and her brother inherited a house in Silver Springs. She's never seen it and knows that it probably needs some work, but she and her kids need a fresh start, so she gets in the moving van and heads into the unknown.

Gavin owns the bunkhouse nearby the old broken down farmhouse. He can't belie

When Gordon, Savanna's husband, was arrested as a serial rapist, she stood by him.until the evidence overwhelmingly proved otherwise. Everyone in their small Utah town blamed her for her husband's actions so she moved with her two young children to a broken down house her father had left her in Silver Springs in rural California.

Gavin is Savanna's neighbour. In addition to being a musician, he is works at New Horizons Boys Ranch, a place he spent a lot of his childhood after his father and stepm

Right Where We Belong:
Ms. Novak has done it again. This story was just really heartwarming, and emotional to say the least.

Savanna doesn’t want to believe what’s happening to her. She can’t stay after what her husband has done. So she packs up, and moves with her children to Silver Springs to the last home she knows.
Not knowing what she’s up against, but it would be better then what she was facing in the house she had with her husband. The accusations and stares. It’s just too hard.

RIGHT WHERE WE BELONG is the fourth book in a new series by Brenda Novak. Like her Whiskey Creek series it takes place in a fictitious town this time in Southern California.

Another of Aiyana Turner's son's from New Horizons Boys Ranch has a new neighbor who is troubled and he's intrigued and instantly attracted.

Savanna Gray is the heroine who has just relocated to Silver Springs to escape a troubled marriage. Her husband is in jail accused of raping three women. She needs to reinvent her life i

Fourth in the Silver Springs contemporary romance series. Can be read as a stand alone.
Savanna brings her children to Silver Springs and an old family home for a fresh start. Gavin is their closest neighbor. His job as maintenance and handyman at the Boys school makes it easy for him to help Savanna make her house habitable.
Unfortunately her ex doesn’t want to make her leaving easy.

I actually liked the instant attraction between Savanna and Gavin. And the in

It was a shocking experience that jump-started Brenda Novak’s bestselling author career.

“I caught my day-care provider drugging my children with cough syrup and Tylenol to get them to sleep while I was away,” Brenda says. “It was then that I decided that I needed to do something from home.”

However, writing was the last profession she expected to undertake. In fact, Brenda swears she didn’t have a
