Changed is a book I highly recommend to everyone, no matter where they are on their spiritual journey. You will find yourself in these pages, and you will discover the path to true, deep, abiding change through Jesus Christ.

I received this book as a gift for attending the SF City Impact Conference. Doug was one of the speakers. I was challenged to grow in my faith and be changed by God after reading this book. Doug shared his personal testimony, without leaving out the hardships. God stretched him in many ways to mold him into his vessel as a pastor. He was very honest about his struggles and faith. I also was really touched reading his daughter's testimony at the end. It helped me understand this world's brokenness more and how God could still bring light into the darkness, especially in San Francisco. Carly's struggles are really relevant to SF, although she is from Michigan. I'm looking forward to being changed into becoming more like Christ as I obey his word and step out in faith like these testimonies.
