We all liked this story and the illustrations were gorgeous. The men in this story are rather rude and it is a tad violent, but nothing to stop us from reading the book.

One son couldn't get enough of it and looked through it every day for a few weeks.

It doesn't "teach" anything about history but it has such great pictures done in the Chinese style and is a traditional Chinese story so I think we'll be using it again.
