Neither living nor dead
Lady Iora doesn't exist. Everyone believes she died at birth, but the goddess Persephone swept her away at the moment of her death. Now, she's fighting for a chance at life, by proving to the Fates she's worthy of her destiny. She has one remaining assignment, and it should be easy enough, but the roguish satyr accompanying her brews more trouble

I am lost. 5 GOLD BERRIES

I’m neither alive nor dead, but something in between. If it helps, so am I. Well, not dead, but not belonging anywhere either. WOW!! CENTAURS & SATYRS & LOVE, OH MY!! What a MATETACULAR ending to this Lords of Thessaly series!! I love, Love, LOVE EVERYTHING about this book and series! I found myself so intrigued & caught up in this story and even though it was around midnight, I couldn't put the book down until I had finished it... TWICE!! Alder & Iora

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy

This one definitely has to be my favourite in this series, i love the whole idea of this world and would recommend this series to anyone, especially if you want something a little different that you will love from word go.

The way that Rachel Slate writes this book is amazing, you fall into her world willingly and soak up every word, she writes in such a way that makes you want to read more and more, wanting to know what the next chapter contains next

King Cheiron has five strong sons each on a quest to find their mates (whether they know or not). Now we find that the King once had a daughter as well. Iora, unfortunately passed away in infancy. Persephone has sent Petraeus' best friend and Satyr Alder on a quest to retire Iora to fully alive. If their mission succeeds war will be avoided and lives spared. Will they be able to finish their quests? Can they guard their hearts? A truly excellent way to end the series. A fantastic series. Read ...more

I received and voluntary reviewed an ARC of this book.

As with anything I have read by Rachael I am just mesmerized. We meet Lady Iora the daughter and sister no one talked about. She has the biggest battle to save all she loves. Can she contain the feats so great or is all for nothing?
The characters and storyline flows so perfectly. Another great read.

Lost Lady of Thessaly by Rachael Slate is book #5 in the Lords of Thessaly series. This book features the heartbreaking story of Lady Iora and her chance at life. Alder and Iora's story is a joy to read and a great addition to this series. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.

Gods, Goddesses and Magick – beware when the gods are in competition!! 4.5 stars

We have met the centaur brothers in the previous books in the series. Now we meet centauress Lady Iora, who is believed to have died, but was pulled away at the last moment and is currently neither alive nor dead. If she completes a set of tasks she may be able to live and join her family whom she has watched over the years – but they have never seen her.

Alder, half nymph and half satyr, fitting into neither world is

I voluntarily leave a review after reading advanced reader copy (but I have bought the book!)

This is one of my favourite series and is a wonderful blend of mythology, PNR and romance. It plays on my little historian heartstrings and I love it when I know the myths, and characters involved. Iora and Alder are a wonderfully written couple and the whole story is vibrant and just invades your mind! Save yourself an hour or two and read it in one fell swoop, cos you will not be able to out it down.

Loved this novella. Loved this series.

Sad, exciting, beautiful, mythological, full of hope, lust and passion as hot as the sun, and a love as deep as the Mariana Trench. Once again, as in every piece of her work, Rachael Slate pulls you in from the first page, and leaves you wanting more on the last.

You fall in love with these characters. You are willing them on. They mature and grow, and the strength and resolve they have is fantastic. Love doesn't care if two sets of beings 'shouldn't' be

This was a quick read, but it was as satisfying as a full novel. Iora and Alder seem to butt heads a little to start but quickly move to friends and then love. Iora and Alder belong together, you can see it before they do. Their story blossoms but doesn't feel rushed as some novellas do. The triumph I felt for these two lovers has a small shade of sadness frosted over it because I don't want to see any of the centaur stories end, but I have to remind myself that they will be back next

Cheiron’s only daughter Iora, died at birth or so everyone thought, saved by Persephone, Iora now completes tasks for her to prepare for war and earn her life back. As war looms, ever closer, Persephone charges the satyr Alder with helping Iora on her final quest. The true turning point of the war may depend on Iora and Alder being able to accept their love for each other, an act that may be impossible. This is an incredible series blending mythology and romance with unforgettable characters in ...more

USA Today bestselling author Rachael Slate writes sizzling shifter stories where alpha heroes battle the beasts within themselves and sassy heroines would rather leave them wild than tame them. Whether dragons or centaurs, it's always scorching hot romance.

When not writing, Rachael can be found in nature, soaking up inspiration, or baking far too many sweet treats in the kitchen. She's obsessed
