I received a copy of Late Night Partners in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Late Night Partners is an urban fantasy novella revolving around vampires, ghouls, and other creatures that go bump in the night. However, it is very different from many other vampire novels, and the difference in perspective and characters is quite refreshing.

Late Night Partners was my first foray into the self-published world, and it’s a promising start; a full-fledged novella currently selling for less than two dollars, it’s well worth the price.

I had the opportunity before reading this novella to speak with the author briefly about vampires, their meanings, and his intent in writing a Black woman vampire in his own work. Those themes shine through; Doris struggles with the “monstrosity” of her new powers, but not nearly so much as with the willfu

Late Night Partners is an urban fantasy novel set in an American cityscape, centring on Roger (an average guy looking after his paranoid great uncle) and Doris (pictured – a vampire who’s escaped from the slave trade). I would like to thank the author for a free copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

I should start by saying that I adore vampire stories and folklore tales and that I am really glad that I now can add this novella to my knowledge base.

The author is extremely talented in my opinion. His writing style is complex and his vocabulary on point. His character development is pretty good and he made me care about the protagonists, especially since one of them was black and I haven't come a

I was given a copy of this book for an honest blog review.
Late Night Partners is an interest in novella with a new take on Vampires and Ghouls. Following a black slave, Doris, through her transition to vampirism from her time in chains through to the present, this story takes you on a journey of what it feels like to be an outsider. Doris's long time friend and puller of heart strings Gesine offers a great partner to her in her new business ventures and the world changing discovery they are abo

A few months ago, I had the opportunity to connect with author Fennel Steuert to read his book Reality and Me All Capeless, which was a unique and vibrant read for me, a new experience if you will. Steuert recently published another piece of work, a “substantially-sized short literary horror(ish) story” called Late Night Partners: Vampires and TwentysomethingsLate Night Partners: Vampires and Twentysomethings, which proved to be another unique story from a
