A Beautiful Stranger is the first installment from A Family Forever series. I have not read many books by Donna Fasano but have enjoyed every one I have read. This one is no exception! What a wonderful, sweet, romantic and fun story.
I highly recommend this book.

Wow, what an amazing story! Sean wants nothing more than to hold the child he has already fallen in love with, take her home, and make her feel the love and safety of a wonderful home. But when he goes to finalize the adoption, he's told he cannot adopt her without being married. Sean meets Nicki at a restaurant, and she offers him exactly what he needs. Nicki is in a bind of her own, and she thinks having a family, even if for a short time, will help. What they didn't count on is the bond they ...more

A Beautiful Stranger by Donna Fasano

I am always amazed at Ms. Fasano’s deep understanding of emotions involved in developing relationships. It didn’t take long for me to be drawn into both Sean Hudson’s and Nicki Willis’ dilemma. Both characters were hampered by past events neither could get past.

Baby Sona’s, an orphaned infant in war-torn Kyrcznovia, wellbeing is the driving force that brings Sean and Nicki together. Without Nicki, Sean can’t adopt Sona and Nicki happens to be in need of immedi

This is truly the best kind of story. It's got a realistic scenario, a continual buildup of the romance, and great character development. The result of all this is a new twist on the marriage of convenience theme.

Sean Hudson is overseas trying to complete an international adoption. He was told by everyone in America that being a bachelor would not be a problem. However, now that he's ready to claim his daughter, he's told that the rules have been changed and that the government expects him to b

Another wonderful book from Donna Fasano that tugs at the heartstrings and keeps you believing in the power of love.

Both Sean and Nicki have issues from their pasts that have put them on their current paths, and when fate has them crossing paths and ultimately finds them entering into a marriage of convenience it's not long before they both begin to realize just how much they might really need each other. It was hard watching these two struggle through their issues, but watching them help each o

My Thoughts...

I always look forward to reading Ms. Fasano's books. I think this is about the twelfth book by her I've read and enjoyed.

Anyone who enjoys a feel-good story with some light-hearted romance will be delighted with this fun romantic tale. Again I was not disappointed I found the story quite entertaining.

I was drawn into the story from the first page to the last page. It was a nice sweet little romantic story about a guy, Sean, a girl, Nicki and an orphan, Sona, finding their way to lo

4.5 stars for this heart felt, love filled, unexpected romance.
Donna Fasano writes characters who steal your heart quicker than you realize they have grabbed hold.
The situation of a war torn country and sweet, innocent babies without families had me soft hearted before I began to read. Add in a sensitive man and a strong, capable woman and I was swiftly calling out for a HEA even though from the start it as not in the plans. Dona takes us dangerously close to the end before or hopes are spared.

Maybe it’s the season, or maybe I’ve just been reading too many dark books lately, but I like to “cleanse my reading palate” with a sweet romance every now and then, and Donna Fasano always delivers. A Beautiful Stranger is a classic marriage of convenience story. He needs a wife in order to finalize his adoption of a child, and she’s suddenly unemployed and in need of a roof over her head. They each have their issues, but the attraction is undeniable and, as in any good romance, love conquers a ...more

I did receive an advanced readers copy. I have loved every Donna Fasano book I have ever read and this one is no different. I love how she is real about undeniable attraction without immediately carrying us into the bedroom. Character development was done quite well. I felt like I knew the characters well enough to be invested in the outcome. Well written and an enjoyable read.

Growing up the third child of five—yes, smack dab in the middle and the only girl to boot—Donna Fasano had no idea she would one day be a published author. Her story-telling talents came to light when she conjured lively and elaborate tales of pure blarney (yes, she has a bit of Irish in her blood) for, first, her youngest brother, and years later, her children.

Donna sold her first manuscript in 1
