They met during a deadly Hurricane, survived a San Franciscan earthquake and through it all, found love. Beth and Donovan are getting married and a honeymoon in Hawaii is just what these two need after all they have been through. Their marital bliss may be short-lived as the infamous Jackson Storm has issued a kill order that cannot be cancelled. Maybe being thousands of miles away will be their safe harbor as the beaches and the surf in Hawaii calls to them.

I have been following Beth and Donovan’s journey through one catastrophe after another in this fabulous thriller series. They first met in Hurricane Crimes, and had one hell of an adventure in Seismic Crimes and Lightning Crimes.
Now they face the rage of a Tsunami in Oahu, on their honeymoon, no less.
I have fallen for the characters. I watch as they grow and develop into more complex individuals. Beth is strong, independent, loving and giving. Better think twice about messing with her and her ma ...more

What a wild ride!! This is not your average romance novel. This story has non-stop action and is extremely intense. Just when you think things are fine... they are not! The author’s writing style is extremely clear, concise, and sharp. The author is a very talented writer! The settings and events in this book were very clearly researched. The plot twists and turns and you never know what is coming next. I was afraid for these two characters for a while but the ending is very satisfying. I am usu

While I haven't listened to any of the other books in this series, I decided to listen since it could be read as a stand-alone novel. I'm fond of the disaster and apocalypse type stories and can enjoy a good romance from time to time. HOWEVER blending the lines between genres can be hit or miss. I think this was more miss that hit unfortunately.

Disaster stalks Donovan and Beth once again in this third book in the Disaster Crimes series. While each book is a stand alone, the characters are the same and some story threads continue throughout the different books. While on honeymoon the two lovers become separated when a tsunami strikes the Hawaiian island they are on. Not only do they have to fight to survive the raging water and try to locate one another, but they also have to evade the bad guys that are hunting them. The tsunami and its

First off, I love this series! Following Beth and Donovan's relationship in this series has been a joy...but, boy oh boy, do these two get into trouble! In this final book, Beth and Donovan get married and head off for their honeymoon in Hawaii...what can go wrong? As if bad guys hunting them down isn't enough, the pair are ripped apart by a Tsunami! Will they survive this latest test? Of course the bad guys survive the Tsunami, so it's a race against time to find each other before the bad guys

Tsunami Crimes has a lot going on! There is a romance between the lead characters who are engaged at the beginning of the book, there are some rather persistent criminals, and there is Mother Nature throwing a tropical storm into the mix. The result is rather entertaining and fun, even if it isn't entirely believable. The narrator does a good job with the material though I found his narration took a little getting use to.

In previous episodes, this couple had met and fought against criminals and the elements.
In this episode, their fight goes on. Honeymoon in pristine Hawaii, turns to nightmare, with both tsunami and criminals coming together to cause their own personal h3ll.
Neither could give up on the other, and with willpower, creativity and love, they do have HEA.
I have loved the audio rendering of this book. The narrator's ability to transmit the characters' emotional states enhances the reading experience. ...more

Tsunami Crimes by Chrys Fey is a book that grabs the reader right from the start and doesn't let go until the dramatic end. Apparently part of a series, this is the first book that I have read (listened to) by this author and I don't feel like I was lost; the author does a good job of filling in any pertinent past details that the reader may need to know. Lots of action, beautiful descriptions of scenes, strong characters and an exciting plot make for a good book and this has lots of them all. W

This couple has the worst luck! A hurricane (Book #1), an earthquake (Book #2) and now a tsunami while on their honeymoon! And that's not all! When they are not trying to escape the ravages of nature, they are catching bad guys and running from really, really bad guys intent on killing them!
Author Chrys Fey writes fast paced, action-packed, adventures that will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat, white-knuckled as you grip the book in your hands. Her description of the ravaging water wil ...more

I listened to book two and wanted to find out what happened next in the story so gave this book ago. Glad I did because I liked the book two but enjoyed this book a lot more. There was less sex scenes than the second book which was what made me give it only a three star. It is the natural disasters that I find so interesting in this series, it is so well written that the story sucks you in. The story contains very strong characters that are developing nicely with each book. I did need a tissue b

This is my second date with Donovan and Beth, having previously listened to book 2, Seismic Crimes. Much as I enjoy hearing about their escapades, I don't want to be friends with this couple. Everywhere they go some sort of natural disaster occurs! This was another fast paced adventure with a wedding and honeymoon thrown in. I thought the feelings expressed by both characters on their impending nuptials were very sweet; it made me try to cast my mind back to my pre-wedding emotions and hope that

"What's real and what's not? "
Better than book two of the series, Tsunami Crimes finds those two unfortunate lovers, Beth and Donovan, preparing themselves for their wedding, followed by a relaxing honeymoon in Hawaii. Rather optimistic given the ferocity with which they are being pursued. But even they were unlikely to anticipate nature's aggression and the tsunami which wretches them apart. Never go on holiday with this couple!

This is a great fantastic audio. Book 3 in the series The author knows how to have you hanging by a string from the begging of the story till the very end There are lots of layers and twists and turns

All of Ms. Fey's books are well worth reading, but I've gotta tell ya, this author keeps getting better and better, and this is her best book so far. With a delightfully sentimental depth of emotion, a vivid and heartbreaking immersion into the horrors of a tsunami, and a realistic and terrifying account of Beth's kidnapping ordeal, this book has it all.

These two (Beth and Donovan) have the worst luck in history, don’t ever travel with them! I couldn’t put this book down, literally, I was up until 3AM one-night reading. While on their honeymoon the unthinkable happens, a tsunami hits Hawaii. As if that weren’t enough, the threat they have been dealing with for a year has also followed them to the lover’s paradise. This isn’t a great start to a marriage guys!

Tsunami Crimes by Chrys Fey is another fantastic thrill ride, an adventure in survival, and a testament to true love, After a lovely and touching wedding, Donovan and Beth honeymoon in Hawaii. Devastation in the form of a tsunami similar to the devastating 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami hits without warning. Separated by the monster wave, Beth and Donovan struggle to reconnect amidst the destruction.

This is not my normal genre, but I have read the author's blog for years and thought I should try some of her longer work. I enjoyed the detail she brought into the story. Her two characters, Beth and Donvan, would be an insurance underwriter's nightmare. Mixing a gangster attack with a tsunami was creative! But the story ends beautiful, after surviving both the water and a kidnapping.

Beth and Donovan are getting married but the bad guys have other plans. But when their detective friend gets the police to tighten the circle around the pair until they leave for their honeymoon all seems good and no one thinks they bad guys will follow them to Hawaii. But then a tsunami hits and Beth and Donovan get separated and they aren't even sure if the other, or the bad guy, has survived.

Tsunami Crimes by Chrys Fey is the third book in the Disaster Crimes series featuring Beth and Donovan. They are on their honeymoon in Hawaii and Mother-Nature has another disaster yet again for them to face. I love how the author weaves crimes into the stories of disaster. The imagery in this book is so realistic, and the story is well paced with the wedding and honeymoon added in. Bill Nevitt brings Donovan and Beth to life with his distinguishable voices. I like how each book is a standalone

Once again, Chrys Fey takes us on a wild ride with Beth and Donovan. Donovan's knack for finding trouble or having it follow him, is easily forgiven when he shows us his heroic abilities. He saves himself but of course, he wouldn't let any harm come to Beth. I think this one was even better than the last Disaster Crimes. Fey has a wonderful ability to mix romance with action that always leaves me feeling satisfied.

My second read/listen from author Chrys Fey. The characters introduced in Hurricane Crimes (Disaster Crimes #1) are back in this third in series.I was given an Audible copy of Tsunami Crimes & am voluntarily reviewing it. Obviously I’ve missed something in not reading book 2 in the series. Well-written romantic suspense, captivating & intriguing with well-developed characters in this longer work. I’ll be reading more in this series. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

I listened to this on audio book and was not disappointed in the latest instalment of this series. How much trouble can befall these two people. As soon as things seem to be going well for Donovan and Beth as they finally tie the knot this is just the start of another natural disaster sending them down a very dark path. Loved it. The fact that Bill Nevitt is narrating it just adds to the enjoyment.

I haven't read any of the previous two books in this series, but it seems that two main characters go from one disaster to another, such an unlucky pair! This one is a Tsunami whilst they are on their honeymoon.
I found the storyline and the description of the Tsunami really good, it has clearly been well-researched. My only negative is that it was a bit too cheesy for my liking, I guess it's because I am not a huge fan of romance books.
A solid 4 stars from me for this one.

Yes, each book is an installment, but that's a good thing because it would be too overwhelming to have all that in one book. And that's even without the natural disasters along the way! This time they get married and go to Hawaii for a surfing honeymoon but things get too exciting when they are followed by the criminals and nearly wiped out by the tsunami. I loved it! It's a real adrenaline rush.

Ms. Fey’s strong and compelling visual storytelling coupled with the overwhelming uncertainty facing Beth and Donovan make this a powerhouse novel.

I truly liked this one. Really suspenseful, lots of moments of great tension and emotional turmoil and a realistic way to deal with trauma and its aftermath.
The fact that Beth and Donovan were away from each other most of the book and therefore there weren't a lot of those over the top sex scenes is, indeed, a plus :P
