Elle ✦ Pretty Little Books ✦
Release Date: July 25, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance

This book was originally published back in 2014 but is being re-released from Forever Romance this July! With that, this is a wonderfully sweet little romance novel that had my heart beating a mile a minute. How I have never heard of this book OR the author before now is a mystery to me but I can say with a smile on my face that I will be picking up more of her books in the future based on this one. It's a charming little number and left

A determined second chance…

Maggie and Brawley’s story has been percolating through this series and finally, finally, it was their turn! If you’ve read Ty and Sophie and Cash and Annie’s stories than you are joyfully familiar with the towns of Maverick Junction and Lone Tree. They are filled with characters that warm the soul in true Texan fashion.

Maggie and Brawley had a falling out years earlier and living in different towns/cities allowed that distance to exist… until now. Brawley is back and

Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. This book is part of a series, this is the third book, and it continues with another syrupy love story from Maverick Junction. It was a second chance story, this time it's about Maggie and Brawley, who were high school sweethearts. Brawley left town, and broke Maggie's heart, and now she is about to embark on the time of her life, where her business will take off, and then who shows back up. Brawley, and he is determined to make up with her, so w ...more

Brawley Odell thought he was giving her the world but all he was giving her was a lifetime of hurt, by cutting her loose her senior. You see Maggie Sullivan and he were boyfriend and girlfriend since Jr. High. He, Cash and Maggie were also grade school friends so she was always there and he thought she always would be. But he thought wrong.
Then came time for him to leave for college and she was a senior in high school. They knew they could make it work him coming home on weekends. He came home

This story was sooo sweet. Something I really like in the books/movies/shows I take in is when I can't figure out how things will resolve. Oh I knew they'd get together in the end, which is okay - that's a given, but I didn't want either of them to give up what they'd worked so hard to achieve.

Yeah, I was mad at Brawley. He thought he was doing the right thing, and he probably was - but at 18 who really makes the right moves? And he didn't have all the info he should've. That's all on Mags. Agai

Review:

"Can't Stop Lovin' You" by Lynnette Austin was another sweet contemporary romance that seems like all this author is able to do in all her beautifully written 'Maverick Junction' series. In this series
number three, the story was of Brawley and Maggie. Brawley had left town to attend college in Dallas and leaving his girlfriend so that she wo

Don't you HATE when you read the third book in a series and enjoy it SO MUCH, that you know that NOW, you have to add the first two to that LONG TBR list that you have...I know...I know. That's how I feel after reading CAN'T STOP LOVIN YOU by Lynnette Austin. I loved the writing, the characters, the plotline and build-up of drama. And Brawley...you just can't go wrong with Brawley Odell.

I also thought the heroine Maggie was awesome! Who doesn't love a firey tempered Red-Head! Maggie and Brawley'

I love me some cowboys and I especially loved Brawley he was just a passionate person, "come upstairs with me. Stay the night." He trailed kisses along her neck, her collarbone. She shivered, and he knew she was close." He's a smarta**, "lot of weight behind him. Left a bruise. No big deal." He waggled his brows. "On the other hand, maybe it does hurt some. Want to kiss it? Love Brawley. I know many at first will find him to be arrogant and not deserving of a second chance. But I don’t. We see that him and Maggie have a past in previous books. We know her side but not his. Here we get to see his side. We see that it was more complicated than it appeared. Brawley made a error. He was 19 and took life by the horns thinking that he knew what was right and what would work. Little did he know life would get in the way. Now he is back and still in love with Maggie. He is ...more

Can't Stop Lovin' You (Maverick Junction) by Lynnette Austin

Maverick Junction is the place everyone tries to walk away from, but just can't live without. Lynnette Austin takes a sugary sentiment and makes it her own. Can't Stop Lovin' You runs away with an old fashioned adage we all know and love, but do everything we can to ignore. Through sentiment, valuable lessons and heartwarming characters, Ms. Austin proves that home is more than a place, it's the people that make this life worthwhile.

Brawley loved Maggie. He loved her for a long time. Ten years ago he thought he did the right thing by breaking off their relationship as a way to encourage her to follow her dream of becoming a big designer. Now Brawley came back to their small hometown hoping he could start again with the only woman he loved; but as he moves home and buys the vet practice he finds out Maggie is moving to NYC.

DEFINITELY IMPRESSED- SUPERB STORY, COMPELLING CHARACTERS, AND ANOTHER HIT FOR MAVERICK JUNCTION. I’ve read too many books to put up with anything short of excellence and that’s why Can’t Stop Loving You by Lynnette Austin was SUCH a delight! Austin’s style hooks the reader immediately with the action “in medias res” at its best! The obstacle of Brawley moving back to Maverick Junction and Maggie about to move out looms large, and the plot flows smoothly into the further complications all romanc ...more

A great second chance at love story, this third installment in the Maverick Junction series doesn't disappoint. This one could stand alone well, but now that I have read books 2 and 3, I will go back for book 1 and watch for more. The lead and secondary characters were so carefully drawn, it was easy to see them, and I want to live in that quirky Texas town! This was the perfect book for my rainy day by the fireplace; a sweet, heart-warming love story.

Second chances. They are some of my favorite books. This is one of them. I want to first say that I loved every character in this book. All the flaws made this such a great read. I enjoyed being in their life and seeing what they saw, feeling what they felt, and learning from everything the did. You can feel the pain from the beginning of this book, but you in the end you also see the healing that goes on in this book. These two, Brawley and Maggie, h

Can’t Stop Loving You by Lynnette Austin is a second chance at love story and is part of the Maverick Junction series. I have not read the previous books, but did not feel left out. I think they would probably provide more background on the family and friends, but can be read as a standalone.

Brawley Odell and Maggie Sullivan had been friends for a long time and were high school sweethearts. Though Brawley left for college before Maggie, they had plans on making it work. Until it didn’t anymore.

We Knew it was Coming...

In the Maverick Junction series, Lynnette Austin did a great job at setting up the next book. While I wasn't a fan of Cash, liked Ty a little bit more, Brawley seemed to take the cake. He was a bit of a jackass in the previous books, but we get to know him better this time around and it worked for me.

Brawley was a man that needed out of Maverick Junction when he was nineteen and now, ten years later, realizes the city life isn't for him. Too bad when he left for college a

This is book 3 in the series and I have read and loved every single story in this series. This book can stand alone though you might understand the story and some scenes better if you read the series from the begining. This is dress designer Maggie's story and well it is a fun one.

The third book in Lynnette Austin's Maverick Junction was another wonderful romance. The story was a second chance romance which is one of my favorite tropes, so it is no surprise that I really enjoyed this book. When it came to this romance, I loved everything about it. I especially loved the way that the author set everything up within the series. Saving Brawley and Maggie's story for last meant that there was a lot of built up to this story, so by the time I started reading this book I was dy ...more

This book is # 3, in the Maverick Junction series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order.

Brawley is moving back to his hometown. He wants to take back the one who got away. Only she is about to make a second slip right through his fingers. Again. Can the secrets of the past be overcome to find the happiness they deserve?

Maggie is finally getting her dreams to come true with this big move to New York. Whi

This was a really sweet conclusion to the Maverick Junction series.
There is useful backstory included in books 1 and 2, but this really is a stand alone book that can be read independently.
Can't Stop Lovin' You wraps several interesting messages into one book, but does it very well. There is a second chance romance for high school sweethearts Maggie and Brawley, the idea of fulfilling dreams - and how those dream change, and the idea that home really is where the heart is.

Life happens again and brings them back together only as Mag had decided to move on with her life and pursue her dreams. It was time to make them reality, but something stood in the way. Mag needed to resolve the past. Along the way there were road blocks, laughs, pain, compromises.

Maggie has grown up since Brawley left. She's a businesswoman making a name for herself and going places. So when Brawley steps back into her life and wants her forever, can she do it?
