Aunt Allison is telling Annsley and Trey a story which she had heard from her Grandpa Luke who had learned it from Santa Claus himself. Big Papa said that Clausville would always be sunny and warm as long as everyone loved and cared for each other. Mainstreet is lined with s ...more

Aunt Allison tells Annsley and Trey a story which she had been told by her Grandpa Luke who had learned it from Santa Claus himself. It is a cute story about friendship, love and the Spirit of Christmas. It tells the origin of some of the secular Christmas traditions such as Santa Claus, elves, and flying reindeer. I won this book from Goodreads.

It's a delightful story about the Claus family and their young son, Santa. The numerous drawings are very appealing. I'm sure that the youngsters aged 4-7 to whom it is aimed will truly enjoy it.

Very cute, short, wholesome children's story about the origin of Santa Claus. Simplistic writing that doesn't convey vivid images so much as tell a story, it's still pleasant and enjoyable--especially so for young people, I would assume.

Received as an ARC from NetGalley.
