A cute Southern story about a guy who loves football and his biggest fan. Tyke has been through an awful tragedy and Rilla is just what he needed to save his life in more ways than one. Tyke and Rilla are sweet and so cute together, but I felt like it needed more depth to their story. I felt like Rilla was too good to be true and it was an insta love that I would have liked to see played out further.

I love love loved this book. It has the perfect combination. Just the right amount of arrogance laughs, as well as sass. This is a well-rounded book and I was captured from the beginning until the end. This book was previously released and this is a second edition. I wish I had read it when it first came out. I feel like I was missing out. I could have fallen in love with this couple sooner. I love Casey as an author and has not disappointed me yet. This was a great read.

This was such a cute insta-love story! Tyke was on top of the world and because of a poor decision he ended up losing everything. I was hooked on this one, I hated when I had to put it down to do life things. All I wanted to do was curl up and finish reading Lion Eyes. I loved it. It's told in dual POVs of Tyke and Rilla (RJ). This is the first time I have read any of this authors work, and my word, I am looking forward to reading more from her. When Tyke makes a bad decision his life is destroyed, but when he is offered a second chance he leaps at it. Rilla is a sharp-tongued, feisty, with a huge heart, and when she meets Tyke is determined not to fall at his feet like all the other females he is used to, which makes her a challenge! These two have a great chemistry between them.

Lion Eyes is a cute story. I enjoyed Tyke and Rilla for the most part. Rilla was a little frustrating with her hot and cold moods. My heart hurt for Tyke but I enjoyed watching him grow. A cute southern sports romance read.

Lion Eyes, was my first time reading anything written by Casey Peeler, and I wasn't disappointed. This story is a well written, sweet, slow burn, young adult sports romance. Rilla and Tykes story revolves around getting a second chance and questioning your convictions.

This was a great, we'll written story. Tyke is a top quarterback. A poor decision in his past will forever haunt him forever. Tyke has paid his debt to society, but only one college would give him his one last shot of going pro.

Just finish reading this book and I have to say that I love it, I love the way Casey Peeler writes. I have to say that I love the characters. I have to say that the begging of the book I couldn't stand the main female I felt like smacking the heck out of her but after a while she grow in me and I started to like her. These two were so fun to read about. They have a connection that is felt as soon as they meet. Tyke and Rilla go back and forth with each other till they give into their feelings. They learn about loss, love and being happy no matter what. Highly recommended.

I always love a good love hate relationship book this would be my first read from Casey Peeler and she did such an amazing job with this one . Rilla is sweet and sassy , Tyke is very determined he wants all his focus just on the game that is until he meets the heroine who surprises him by not falling to his feet when they first meet . They had great chemistry and witty banter can't wait to read more from this author and hope to her more about these characters .

I unfairly judged this book by the cover, insert old saying...never judge a book by it's cover. I was expecting this book about a macho jock who doesn't get his way and throws man fits throughout the book. Man, oh man, was I WRONG!!

I loved this book! This is the first book I've read by Casey Peeler. I was very pleased with the story but I was a little disappointed in the lack of heat to it. Other than that it was a great read.

I've not read anything by this Author before so I was lucky enough to get the chance with this book!
I really enjoyed the depth of the connection that this author was able to establish between the main characters and was able maintain throughout the entire novel!
I believed in the chemistry and emotions between these two!

Rilla claims to hate football and Tyke eat, sleeps, and breaths football. Thus book is about second chances in life and finding yourself. Plus mix in sports and you have a great story.
