Maybe because I hadn't read other books in the series, but it seemed choppy and sometimes confusing to me. Additionally, I personally didn't like any of the characters, so I wasn't rooting for anyone.

Can you say dysfunctional family. I really enjoy reading the Crystal series, I hate this is the last one I still have unanswered questions and would love to see how some things played out with some of the characters. I loved the way the story flowed and their was nothing predictable about the story. I was really rooting for Mercedes and Benjamin. I liked how the author cleaned up some of the problems but left just enough to keep us wondering.

I received this ARC from the publisher for an honest review.

This was a good book. I especially like the way Blake’s love for her four girls ran so deep. Thought she never told who there birth fathers were, her love for each was very admirable. She worked to be sure they had the best of everything. In the end they even had a father. I guess Mercedez husband Benjamin now realize the grass isn’t as green on the other side as he thought. If Arizona truly loved him she would take him and his kids. But as I say that’s the way love goes.

Hmmm👏🏾🔥👏🏾🔥👏🏾🔥

The last of a three book series and I think it shoulda been a two book series. The plot is insane and if I had to choose a buzzword describing the shenanigans it would probably be incredulity.

I wish I could've saved my money, but I HAD to finish the tale. Sometimes that works out for you, sadly this wasn't one of those times. I like the author though. She's definitely talented. Just don5stretch a story for a payday. Just sayin'..

With caveats, buy it, read it and enjoy!!👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥

This is the last book in the trilogy and I enjoyed it for what it was. I'm glad I picked it up. Many of the characters came full circle.

Excellent

...haven't read MBM books in years due to my own messy marriage. This has truly had my head jacked. ok, you bring up your sister who went through the most and never made it plain then you speak on Alexis like she isn't your daughter, stated about all the girls father's, but recanted like two times about one. Then had the girl flirting with Ole dude, then he making statements about how Blake not who he thought she was... you see the confusion you just read, well that's how I felt 3 hours after I finished this book..lol.. I guess MBM been slipping cause I haven't read several books by her due to the reviews I read..Lol.... read at your own risk, good story line, but the confusion in it...

Not a great way to finish the series. Blake finally gets married to a man that’s controlling and doesn’t want her to have her own life anymore. There are still too many holes in the stories. Why did she not want the other three girls to know who their fathers were and why did she lie and say that all four of them were by her father? There are so many questions unanswered. I hate being left hanging after a three book series feeling like I wasted my time reading a story with an empty plot and all over the place characters.

I'm assuming this book would habe made more sense if I'd read the previous two. Even though I hadn't I found it very hard to follow. Way too many characters and the switching back and forth between characters was too much.

I couldn't even make it through the first 10 pages of this book. Basically, it's a graphic sex novel. I can't see any reason to waste my time on such garbage.

First off I highly suggest you get the audiobook because it will give the story more life. Mary B. Morrison did a good job of weaving this book together!! Tbh it was the best in the series because it combined all the sisters and their problems together. It gave us a taste of all the Crystal women and I was here for it!👏🏾 I wished Mercedes and Benjamin would’ve worked it out, but I guess not all marriages prevail in the end. Honestly I felt like Benjamin suffered from society’s perspective of marriages and not really utilizing his own. If he would’ve been more of a stronger man he would’ve been left Mercedes if he was THAT miserable with her. And even though Mercedes could be a know it all bossy bitch, she was still was a good FAITHFUL wife. She just wasn’t the type Benjamin really wanted to be with and men do have a tendency of getting excited over something new. Arizona was just a desperate clingy side chick who wanted to be wifed so bad she didn’t even really consider the possibilities of what being a wife really was until the end. Lol her and Benjamin won’t last if he has sole custody of his kids and she has to take care of them😂😭😭. Some people would say Mercedes was selfish for giving the kids to Benjamin but I feel like she was just doing what all men do; pawn them off to the mom so she can have more responsibility, I see them every weekend, and I get to live my life and have fun. So why can’t women do it too? I never thought that Alexis would calm down but I’m glad she finally has. Motherhood certainly has a way of humbling ppl. And I’m so happy that Devereaux has finally left Phoenix’s bum ass for good and got herself a better man that already has his own shit together🙌🏽. Then Blake..... out of all the characters in the series she REALLY deserved happiness and I’m glad Bing was her salvation❤️💍. But I still wanna know who are the girls fathers?🤔 I don’t think Mary B Morrison is going to end this series as soon as we think because she left with too unanswered questions. Patiently waiting and hoping for the next book in this installment🙌🏽👏🏾😌

I found it lacking. It's good enough to read, if your like me, where you need a book to read at all time; it gives you something to read, but like I said, it didn't totally do it for me. I don't know, maybe because I had to read it in segments, due to being busy all the time, but I still have questions questions that never got answered, such as, why did Bing call off the engagement briefly? Why did Blake not want her kids to know who their fathers was? Did Blake and Bing get back together because he thought Blake's father sexually assaulted Blake and fathered her children? What happened to Phoenix and why did his mother shoot him in the arse? What happened to Black? I could go on and on. Also, for me, I found that sometimes the story line felt rushed. Others may think I'm being too harsh, however, if I could I probably give it a 2.5 stars but 3 stars out of five will have to do.

Good addition to the Crystal family series. The family is still something else. Storyline was good, very easy to read. Some questions were answered, some were not. Lots of drama with the sisters and Mom. Good afternoon read. This book is one of my book clubs picks and it will be interesting to see their views on this addition. This is book 3 in the Crystal series, and if you have not read the first 2, you are missing out. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book in return for my honest review.

In this book, the third and final installment, we will see drama, scandal, and lies coming out within the dysfunctional Crystal family. I’m hoping this isn’t truly the last book in the series, because I still have unanswered questions; there are a few things going on with the characters that I’d like to see worked out. The story is easy to follow, and you get caught up quickly. It’s a fast read, and I would recommend it to others, but I would advise you to read them in order, so you won’t be lost.

Well another good one. I enjoyed this novel too. I'm glad things worked out for all the Crystal women, especially Blake.

Each of the daughter's learned something about themselves too, which was refreshing, and goes to show that we all are a continued work in progress.

Be true to self, and the sky is. Well you know the rest.

I'm hopeful for these women & whatever the future holds.

Thanks Mary!! You did it again. Can't wait for the next one!

Your gurl is always on the lookout for a good read.

So until my next review, Ciao!

As always, love how the multiple POVs were done. Kinda wish Sandra's story was explored deeper. Also, did I miss it or did we never get the secret of what happened to her daughters' fathers? And why couldn't the girls ever know their fathers? Did more harm than good. Glad everyone had a come to Jesus and left all losers behind. Tho I wanted more, glad how it ended. Overall, great read.
Thank you, Mary👍🏾👍🏾😊

This was the last installment in of the Crystal family series and they are still too much. This book has lots of drama which is typical of Mary Morrison and I read it in one weekend. It was a real turn pager and kept me wanting to read more. This is book 3 in the Crystal series, and if you have not read the first 2, you are missing out.

This family has a lot going on, full of dysfunction and drama, they have it all. I felt a little lost at some points because I didn't realize it was a series and read this one first. Disappointed to find out that this is the last in the series and the secret of the daddies was never revealed. Trying to decided if it's worth it to read the other books in the series...?

Please continue this series, Mary B!

As usual, Mary B doesn't disappoint. Reminiscent of Jada in Soulmates, she once again shows that Black women can be strong and sensitive, powerful and passionate. You will devour this novel!

A beautiful ending to a detailed storyline with wonderful character development. You will fall in love and become friends with the Crystal sisters. I would be interested in reading a possible spinoff off for each sister. I enjoyed and recommend this five star read.

This book was probably the best one out of all 3, I enjoyed reading this from beginning to end. I am happy that Alexis changed some of her ways, I liked how Mercedes handled Benjamin in court and how his mistress left,

My goodness. This book was a juicy listen. Full of drama. I am going to have to go back and read the other two books of this series. This one was included with my audible plus membership. Drama, drama, and drama surrounding these sisters and mother.

I hope part four doesn’t take as long as three. This book was not as intriguing as the first two. It was still a good read.
