Two reader-favorite tales about finding love where you least expect it…
Untamed
Jo Wilder's life revolves around the big top, and she is furious when straitlaced lawyer Keane Prescott threatens to take it all away from her. Keane had no interest in his late father's circus until he meets the fiery lion tamer. Jo is impossible to resist—at once graceful, fearless, commanding and about as unpredictable as the lions. Keane knows there's no way she'd fit into his life, yet all it takes is one kiss and suddenly running away to join the circus seems like the best idea he's ever had!
Dance of Dreams
Prima ballerina Ruth Bannion has always been in awe of her demanding, mercurial mentor Nickolai Davidov. But when they are partnered in a passionate new ballet, their chemistry—both on and off the stage—becomes impossible to ignore. Nick knows he's in danger of falling for Ruth, but he is unwilling to take the leap. In the end, it is up to Ruth to teach the guarded Nickolai the tender dance of love.
Nora Roberts is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of more than 200 novels, including Hideaway, Under Currents, Come Sundown, The Awakening, Legacy, and coming in November 2021 -- The Becoming -- the second book in The Dragon Heart Legacy. She is also the author of the futuristic suspense In Death series written under the pen name J.D. Robb. There are more than 500 million copies of her books in print.
It seems like Nora Roberts does not understand what consent means. If you write a ‘love’ story about a character not being respected and raped it is not a love story.
As much as I love Nora, I hated how she portrayed these men characters!!! The aggressiveness , the hand on type of violence….. totally not cool! Women don’t fall in love with those types of men! Actually….. that’s a lie. There are a ton of women who stay with jerks who are physically and emotionally abusive! But anyway, the love story was great… the male characters where HORRIBLE!
Not my favorite by Nora Roberts. The characters (Jo and Keane) just did not seem to have any chemistry at all. So Jo asking him to marry her at the end seemed contrived.
