A peer reviewer for Artist Management for the Music Business proclaimed ".this is going to be an excellent text. It contains many unique insights and lots of valuable information.” This is essential reading for managers, students, and artists in the music business.
Good book overall, but most of what it teaches seems to me like common sense. I didn't find anything new or useful with it, though it was entertaining when real examples were used... especially the ones about terrible managers! haha gotta love the horror stories.
Such a useful book! Very good base and source of information for anyone who wants to get started in Artist Management. It also includes a decent amount of references for further knowledge. Will definitely refer to it in the future!
Not a bad read for those starting out in the field of music business. This book is a companion to a full course, yet a good read to get to know things first.
Great book for anyone who wants to work in the music industry, especially if you want to be an artist manager. It could include more practical information in my opinion.
