Emotional Roller-coaster does not begin to describe the sparks flying between these two. This story of love found when you are so not looking for it was both entertaining and engaging all five senses at the same time kinda read.

One head strong rancher with two brothers that have moved on with their own ranches but still see him as the baby of the family. (I was an unexpected late baby too) One strong minded city dwelling female with a calculator that she is not scared to use .. (Crazy ex-boyfri

This book is a rewrite of Erin Wright's original Accounting For Love. I love her books and her writing skills have grown since she wrote the original version if this book. Doing this rewrite was a great opportunity to make Accounting For Love even better.

Stetson is raises cattle and is a row crop farmer. He also has a big chip on his shoulders. Stetson inherited the farm when his father died. Stetson is the youngest of threee sons. Typically, the farm would pass to the oldest son, hus brother Wy

I give this book 3.5 stars and since I always round up, it get last a 4.

The book started out a little slow and it took me a while to get into the story. The gist of it was Stetson was a rancher whose land is in danger of being taken by a bank because he was unable to make a payment on a loan. He had to take out the loan when his father turned ill. Cancer treatment was expensive, causing Stetson to make the choice to try and save his father's life. He couldn't afford the treatment and the bank p

Oh god. Do you ever read a book to the end because you honestly can't imagine how much worse it will get? This was one of those. It was a fast read, if it were longer it would have been a DNF.

Honestly, I liked the premise and I liked the potential of the characters, but it was all so shallowly executed. So much potential wasted. Both characters were kind of two dimensional and little time was spent trying to flesh them out. They know each other all of two three days then they split and there's

I received a free copy of this book from the author and voluntarily chose to review.
This was a great cowboy romance with interesting characters and a wonderful story. Erin Wright did a great job writing this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. If you like hot cowboys and tough girls, pick up a copy.

Terrible book. Plot line could have been great but failed dismally. The characters had no substance and were sex starved clearly. This tried to be 50 shades of cowboy and was simply awful. More sex ( and not even nicely written sex) then storyline. Wasted my last day on holiday with this sadly.

Stetson Miller looked around at the extensive clutter in his deceased father’s office. He need to get this organized if he intended to save the farm! He had been given 31 days to bring the loan current or the bank would foreclose. Mumbling about what he would do to the low-down banker/thief who was coming, he ignored his housekeeper’s throat-clearing and finally turned around. Behind her was a woman sent by the bank, so he verbally attacked her too for her cowardly boss not coming here himself! ...more

What can I say? I have a weakness for broody cowboys with huge "chips" on their shoulders and a rocking hot bod to go with it. Stetson was so hot, rude and he knew how to get his hands dirty. Stetson is a livestock rancher who is in default on his loan. The bank's last attempt to get their money comes in the form of Lindsay, an auditor for the bank. Lindsay's job is to audit the farm's records to see if there are any stones left unturned where money is concerned. Stetson hates Lindsay's guts fro ...more

Wright created an intense romance which includes family, emotion, and an attraction that that will not be denied. Stetson can't keep his mind off the pretty little accountant in her skirt and heels; her eyes, her hair, her legs, well you get the drift. However, with preconceived ideas of city women, he's determined to overcome his attraction. Furthermore, hurts from the past color his view of Jennifer. You will love Stetson; strong, determined, and manly, his fight for his way of life will grab ...more

Accounting for Love is a very good start to the Long Valley series of books about life and love in small-town Idaho. With this new rewrite the book is even better!. Erin adds her signature humor and fun throughout the book, but there are serious subjects like the trials and tribulations of family and the baggage that ex-boyfriends and girlfriends can bring to a relationship. Erin also tackles the topic of body-shaming and how disastrous it can be to a person's self esteem and confidence in bed. ...more

Stetson Miller has a big problem. As the youngest Miller son he has aways been the baby of the family and his two older brothers do not respect him. Add to that, he was the only inheritor of the family farm and you have a scenario for trouble. To make things worse, even-though, Stetson is a very hard worker and knows how to run the farm, but he is no bookkeeper. He has managed to miss a very important balloon payment on a substantial loan to the bank.

Jennifer Kendall is forensic accountant. She

This author was recommended to me by another author that I really like. I thought I would give it try and I am VERY glad that I did. Mrs. Wright is an amazing author.

I really liked the character of Jennifer. She is a strong, independent and caring individual. She understands that her job could be difficult to some people and she does whatever she can to help them or at least make them understand that she isn't trying to be the bad guy. She is a woman who has a wonderful heart and truly understan

This is a quaint love story with a lot going on. It seems that Stetson is just getting over the loss of his father, and after paying his medical bills, he hasn't been able to make the balloon payment on the farm/ranch. So the bank sends an accountant to do his books. Stetson is not happy about the bank sending someone in because he is afraid he is going to lose his home. Jennifer is the accountant that the bank sends. Her boss is a total jerk and over the line, I thought HR should have been put ...more

A delightful story, Accounting for Love draws the reader into the life and emotions of Stetson and Jennifer from the opening page. This is a revised edition of the book, and although it is more cohesive and believable, none of the electricity between the characters is lost, neither has the humour diminished one bit. One experiences Stetson's deep frustration and his feelings of lack of worth, as well as Jennifer's nervousness at being in a hostile situation whilst trying to please everyone. Ther ...more

Stetson is one of three brothers, the one his father left the ranch to upon his death. Now Stetson is fighting to keep the ranch out of foreclosure, and Jennifer arrives from the bank to perform an audit. She has her work cut out for her as Stetson believes she is there to take his farm and treats her like his worst enemy. It doesn't help matters that all the ranch's financial records are in boxes with no apparent rhyme or reason. To top it all off, Jennifer's boss, Gregg, is pushing her to fini ...more

Excellent contemporary western style romance. The author did a re-write of this book and the previous book was good but this version adds all the silly and fun bits to the story. Stetson is working hard to keep the family farm going but a book keeper he is not. Jennifer sets out to help manage his books and simplify his life. This wouldn't be a romance without that added. Neither character was looking for love but it was a gradual process now they need to see what happens. I've had the pleasure ...more

I have read a number of Erin’s book and enjoyed them all. The author’s writing style flowed smoothly from the first page to the last and her characters had depth and are multi-dimensional.
This was a modern western romance that was very well written and easily read in one afternoon. It was a full novel that held my interest and was fast paced. The plot was romantic, funny, sexy and had a few twists and surprises at the end. Stetson and Jennifer are a perfect couple. I do not like giving away spec

Country vs City

Quick read. I enjoyed this story, with the humor, hot Sex & the heroine's & hero's battles. Their battles included questioning themselves as well as each others motives. With an ex-boyfriend & her boss on Jennifer's back all the time, she is amazed that Stetson wants her & only her for herself.
The part of story that was hard for me was Jennifer going to bed with Stetson after only 2 days. No questions about their current lives. There was no questions if either pe

ACCOUNTING FOR LOVE by Erin Wright. New author for me to read.
I like the catchy title, and cover. Stetson, has taken over the ranch, after father's death, only to the running of it. His father was the bookkeeper, of which all the unpaid bills have now collected. Stetson had no idea how to make any sense from it, and his anger at the bank. Jennifer comes to audit, trying to find away to save, not take the ranch. First meeting Sparks fly not just because they didn't send a guy. Will they find a so

I liked the story the first time around, and it was even more snarky and brooding and good the second time. I think many of us can relate to both Stetson and Jennifer; Stetson because of losing his father and trying to keep everything going and Jennifer because we have all been judged before. I absolutely fell in love with Stetson when he built Jennifer back up after Paul had beat her down time and again. I will never think of strawberry ice cream in the same way again! Accounting for Love by Erin Wright portrays the rocky romance of misunderstood bank accountant Jennifer and large farm owner Stetson Miller. The loving personalities of Jennifer and Carmelita balance the story and the happy ending ties eve
