This one doesn't have nostalgia for me because it's not a book I grew up with, but, it IS the 80s (the REAL) Care Bears so it automatically gets a 4 😊
It is basically about how Tenderheart wants to grow a Garden but realises that he can only do that on Earth and not in Care-a-lot. So he goes to Earth to find a patch of ground to plant a garden and manages to have some humans to help him out. Together they all feel good about creating this together.
I've had this book since the mid-80s. It was a favorite of mine then, and it remains so to this day. The language is descriptive, the conflict and resolution in this little book is meaningful, and the pictures are bright and captivating.
