Nothing makes me happier than a new book by Michelle Leighton on my Kindle, add into that joy, that this is a Christmassy one, and Dashing Through the Snow was the perfect read for this time of the year.

It was also nice and quick to get through, which means it’s the perfect read for an afternoon or evening of escapism over the busy festive period.

Dashing Through The Snow is the perfect little read for beginning of this holiday season!!! It puts you immediately in the Christmas Spirit!!!

Sweet and super sexy are the words that describe this little treat of novella to a T, since I devoured it as fast as a delicious Christmas cake.

Dash and Dilyn find themselves stuck in a cabin in a middle of a snowstorm, and took a chance, and opened up to one another, like they had never done before in their lives, because from the ver

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with novellas. I love everything about holiday stories but often am left wishing they were a bit longer due to them usually being shorter than regular novels. I had high hopes that M. Leighton, a favourite author of mine, could pull off a satisfying story for me and I was not disappointed.

In Dashing Through the Snow, we got Dilyn and Dash’s stormed-in story

Well, this was a fun and sexy introduction to M. Leighton! This was a mix of strong, verbally intelligent characters who both had that instant understanding of each other on more than a sexual level. Oh, they were attracted to each other... to the point of fighting the urges to act on them... But they also had this feel of being able to be completely honest once they realized they were stuck in the same chalet for the night.

Meh. It started out with a what the feathers between reporter Dilyn (don't like the spelling of her name) and her boss aka ex-boyfriend. Then she meets Dash and realizes she that she didn't want her ex. Dash and Dilyn were hot, and that's a great use of s'mores materials. Then the ex shows up again and WHAT! she leaves with him. Dash dashes (haha) after her, and finds the ex kissing her. A couple weeks later she has to go re-interview Das

A sizzling romance right from the start! This is a hot one to spice up a cold winter night. Great characters and a nice holiday setting that gives you a taste of the author's writing style. Now I have another author whose books need to be added to my TBR list.

A perfect read for a snowy day. Or if no snow available, a great way to get into the spirit of Christmas.

It’s always been a dream of mine to spend Christmas in a cabin or cottage in the snow. Cuddled underneath a blanket in front of a fire. Reading, having sex, more reading.:-) Of course a gorgeous guy can’t be missing.

That’s pretty much what happened to Dilyn Hart. As a journalist, she was sent to interview a famous champion snowboarder for an exclusive. In Colorado,
Would have rated a little higher if the ending wasn't so abrupt, but cute story nonetheless.

Tis the season to get toasty warm and cuddly with M. Leighton’s newest sexy Christmas story, Dashing Through The Snow. It’s no secret that I am huge fan of Leighton and so when I found out that she was treating her readers to a holiday treat, I couldn’t wait to get my greedy hands on this book. And let me just say, this book was worth the wait as it had everything that I wanted from naughty to nice.

Ah, crap

It started out soooo good, i was actually surprised by the idea presented and the way it was headed...I got carried away in excitement!

Then the plot happened...*sigh*

Too much angst for such an instant feeling (read "love") that was enlarged like that particular male member after the effects of a little blue pill *naughty smile*

not only in the very idea but in the grasp and the notion of it...after merely 3 days...i just don't buy it *shrugs* especially not in a novel

Dashing through the Snow was a quick, sweet & steamy holiday read.
The characters were fun, likable and I loved watching them fall in love.
Author M.Leighton has once again given her readers a wonderful and entertaining read, I highly recommend this book.

It's always something special when M. Leighton releases a new romance. We are always guaranteed to swoon and blush our asses off, and with DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW...well, we got that and so much more! This delicious holiday treat gives us the perfect blend of sweet, sexy, and downright dirty! I loved it! This beauty will have you dragging your lover to the nearest mistletoe and doing a whole lot more than kissing!

This is a short, sweet, and romantic Christmas novella.

Dilyn Hart is a Scrooge about Christmas...due to her past, she hates it. So when she is asked to do an interview on Christmas Eve with famous snowboarder and notorious playboy, Dash Grainger, she heads to a cabin to do her job.

Dilyn is sassy, smart, and stubborn. She is dealing with some mixed feelings from her last relationship, but one look at Dash has her surprisingly smitten. Dash is charismatic, sexy, and funny. He lives for t

Cute, sweet, short novella.....and I don't usually go for the Christmas novellas, but it was M. Leighton and I liked the premise, so I went for it.

Dylin hates Christmas.....she does anything she can to stay away from the celebration of it.  So, as a journalist (and a distraction), she takes a job interviewing an Olympian snowboarder (and extreme sports junkie) just a day before Christmas Eve.  And of course, Dash (love that name) is the non-commitment, partying, playboy you would

What I have come to expect from M. Leighton's books is not only a stellar story but also for it to pull at my emotions and this story was no different. We have two very different people come together to give us one very Merry Christmas that will even make Scrooge enjoy the holiday. I loved the chemistry between Dash and Dilyn but that wasn't all, as a matter of fact there wasn't one this about this story that I didn't like. This story will get you into the Christmas spirit, make you feel warm an ...more

Dashing Through the Snow by M. Leighton
Standalone Christmas Novella
It seems I read a new “snowed in with a stranger on Christmas” book every year, so I will say that Dashing Through The Snow by M. Leighton wasn’t a very unique story, but still, it was the perfect way to spend an afternoon enjoying the Christmas decorations, and if it were cold here, a nice hot cocoa by the fire. It’s been a long time since I read M. Leighton, and I am happy to say she didn’t disappoint.

Working through the holidays is never anyone’s favorite thing to do. For Dilyn Hart - her lackluster for the season drives her to accept an assignment from her boss to interview champion snowboarder Dash Grainger. Heading off to a Christmas Eve interview ends up holding more surprises than Dilyn could have planned for. Traveling takes her to a chalet so high in the mountains it surprises Dilyn. Then Dilyn encounters a driver like no other. His warning of the oncoming snowstorm a fleet thought in ...more

I loved this swoony and sexy Christmas story. It ticked all of the boxes for me in the festive read department; Brilliant characters, heartwarming romance, sizzling sexiness and lots and lots of snow! If you are looking for something to read this holiday season, don't hesitate to snap this one up.

This is my first M. Leighton book. It was a short, romantic and sexy read (who knew s'mores could be so sexy). I liked that both of our main characters had some things to work through, things they have been through to explain who they were in the present day of the story. Dilyn hates Christmas for a personal reason so she takes on the opportunity right before Christmas to go to snowy Colorado to interview Dash who is a professional snowboarder and well-known playboy. I enjoyed this fun, sexy holiday novella. Dash and Dilyn meet on the day before Christmas Eve in an isolated luxury chalet in Colorado, in the middle of a snowstorm, no less. Dilyn is there to interview Dash, Olympic gold medal winning snowboarder, adrenaline junkie, and notorious playboy. The byplay between these two was so entertaining--mostly fun and sexy, but at times, serious and very honest. Dash is fun, spontaneous, sexy, charming,

How do I summarize this novella?? A novella that gave me all the feelings in a cute little bundle!!

I love the characters that Michelle creates for us. Dash is an amazing man in so many ways. What the public sees of him is not who he is in private. And I love that we got to see both sides of him.

Dilyn is a sweetheart. However, Christmas is not her favorite holiday. And when she finds herself stranded in the mountains with Dash, she has no idea what to expect. I want to say so much but I am afraid

A steamy and romantic novella that's sure to leave you fired up!

Dashing Through the Snow was the perfect Christmas novella I was looking for! My only wish is that it was longer...I couldn't get enough of Dash and Dilyn! These two characters sparked and sizzled and their passion for each other was undeniably sexy. And throw in the quirky flirting, raw emotions, and a bit of drama, and I was a complete goner! This book was complete trash and I was so there for it. Now I'm not one for love at first sight stories typically but there's just something about Christmas and about these characters that made me go for it. D and D (what I'm referring to them as in my head) both seem so different in the beginning but to be honest, they're actually insanely alike. Both had personal background issues that made them not as easily trusting as they could be and yet they were somehow able to trust and feel safe with ...more

Wow, when things cool down in Colorado, they really heat up!

Dash and Dilyn's story is a short, hot and sexy Christmas novella that will be steaming up your ereader!

It is hard with a novella to make it not seem insta-lovey, so yes while this is insta-lust and insta-sexy, it didn't feel tooooo insta0lovey for me (gosh, does that make any sense?). I felt there was enough between Dilyn and Dash that it felt like we had known them a lot longer.

A tiny bit of Christmas mentioned, mostly for the snowed in at a remote chalet trope.
There is dual first person POV, but mostly the h's voice.
Fun page turner. Sexy novella. Like A.R. but Ms Leighton can write. There's an insta-attraction.
There's a (very) brief but intense tease & then look out.
I've been reading a few of the seasonal novellas. I enjoyed this one.
