***I received a copy of the ebook by the author in exchange for an honest review. ***

The Harbinger is a novel from the series The Fray Theory and tells the events that took place three years before Resonance, first book of this series. It’s a novel that revolves around the figure of Dylan, but at the same time traces a profile of the other characters close to him and deepens their ties: the feelings for Neve, the friendship with Roman, but also the relationship with his father, not always easy.

You know what I love about Keramati's style? It's just so pretty! And I don't mean that in a pretentious, flowery sort of way. I mean it in the sense that it's so rich, so filled with passion and poise that it draws you so fully into the reading experience that for a time you forget you're actually reading a book- you feel as if you are a part of the story, that you are experiencing the events along with the characters. Or, in the case of The Harbinger, the character of Dylan in particular.

I was fortunate enough that the author I love let me read the ARC ... & IT SO AMAZING..! Thank you so much!!
This is a novella for the series of The Fray Theory & Its about Dylan , what happened to him, why he disappeared & what his "powers" are & Its his story & how he fits into the events of The Fray Theory..

In Resonance, we dont see much of Dylan , so I was so really excited for this novella & after reading it I just want to wrap Dylan in a blanket & protect him at all cost..

Once again I am amazed by this author's exquisite writing style and skills. Not only does she write exceptionally well she is incredible at writing a story that is impossible to put down, intelligently told with a lot of little details that make the plot exciting and original. I can't wait to see how all these details come together as the series progresses. I love that when I pick up one of her books I get totally immersed in the story. She also excels at writing these wonderful, complex yet eas ...more

Once again, it was a pleasure to read something by Nelou Keramati.
Her writing style is so beautiful and her characters so well-described.
It was really interesting to see what was Dylan's life before the events of the first book.
I am excited for book 2 but I am wondering : this novella being a 1.1 instead of what is usually called 1.5, does it mean we are going to get other novellas ? I do not know if what I am saying makes sense hihi

Please, read this series !!

Ps : the cover is also really BEAUTI

The Harbinger - a novella to The Fray Theory - was just amazing! Nelou Keramati has done it again with weaving action into her amazing style of writing! We get a closer look into Dylan’s life as he figures out his special abilities and we also get to know more about him. His relationship with Neve is also portrayed and is just adorable! Dylan’s friendship with Romer is of course also included and just hilarious! Dylan’s relationship with his dad is very complicated but I’m glad to know it wasn’t ...more

I received a copy of this book in PDF form in exchange for review.

The Harbinger by Nelou Keramati is the first novella of the Fray Theory series. This novella lets readers learn more about what happened to Dylan leading up to the events of The Fray Theory's first novel Resonance. I really enjoyed seeing the growth of Dylan's character and his ability from a young child to the present day. I look forward to the next novel, and the possiblity of more novellas in this series.

although you can technically read this story without reading the first book in this series, I highly recommend you to read them in order :) it's definitely better to have at least some background as to what is happening here :) and since this is another installment in an on-going series I won't spoil you anything in case you still haven't picked it up... in which case, go remedy that situation right away, because it's a fantastic series :) and it definitely doesn't hurt that the author is an abs ...more

I just wanna say thank you to Nelou, the author, for giving me a copy of this novella. This was supposed to be an ARC but then… the explanation is in the middle of the review. XD Anyway, this review is not biased in any way.

Alright, let’s start this review on this book!

Bes, can I just say how amazing of an author Nelou is? Her books are so amazing! I’ve said this before in her other book and I will say it again in this one; I’ve never read a book like this before!

I have so many feelings right now. Review to come in a bit.
Oh wow....

I am actually a huge fan of Nelou Keramatie books... I was lucky enough to get my hands on an ARC copy of the Fray Theory... Which I loved! And Nelou Keramatie has been lovely enough to let me have an ARC of the Harbinger. Nelou's writing style is superb, Her imagination, unlike any other authors I have come across...
This story just flew by much too fast, I want so much more of Dylan! But everything rolled into one made this book so good, and makes you flip through those

I just love Nelou’s style and imagination, and the Harbinger was a lovely addition to The Fray Theory series.
We didn’t get to see much of Dylan in Resonance (he was still my favourite though) but The Harbinger is his story and details his life and the events leading up to the first book. It was brilliant getting to know more about him and seeing just how much he cared for both Neve and Romer – it’s all left me very excited to see what’s next for this series!

Thanks so much for an ARC! The Fray Theory was love at the first page and again Nelou Keramati made me fall in love with her writing all over again. I love The Harbringer. It draws you in as soon as you start reading and is shrouded with this mysterious aura that keeps you going. It's a quick read focusing on Dylan before the events that lead up to the first book in The Fray Theory. I actually liked Dylan in the first book and this novella made me like him more. Now I want to read The Fray Theor ...more

This novella will definitely thrill, attract your attention and keeps you is suspense state until the very last page and last sentence. Having started to read it I immediately recognized this distinctive and already my favourite way of writing of the author Nelou Keramati - it's soft and natural. But at the same time it doesn't prevent to touch upon very serious and essential for understanding of life topics, such as the background of a childhood of Dylan Sterling, irreplaceable importance and l ...more

Whoa... So I totally thought this was going to be a small little addition to the main story. I wasn't expecting it to be supernatural like Resonance because this story was supposed to capture what happened to Dylan three years ago, why he vanished, etc., but oh my god there was SO MUCH MORE than I expected! The Fibonacci Sequence just blew my mind... I can't believe how skilled the author is at sewing science with fiction! It's all real stuff that she applies to her stories, but with a really un ...more

This book was PHENOMENAL! I was expecting a short story about what happened to Dylan three years ago, and that's it, but it totally blew my mind! I cannot believe the author introduced another scientific theory in this book... I thought because this story happened before Resonance that there would be no (or at least less) interesting 'paranormal' happenings, but boy, was I dead wrong! I was biting my nails against the ticking clock, and I kept thinking 'Oh, I totally know where this is going, be ...more

Book 1 was absolutely amazing. I went in thinking, "sounds really good" and then it exceeded all of my expectations. Nelou is truly a gifted writer and such a kind person I've been so lucky to talk to through email.
