The Thirteenth Moon is a perfect read for middle schoolers who are looking for adventure, magic, monsters and the occasional goddesses, and a realm that's unlike any other. Melissa Volker captures the essence of what it's like to truly be a kid who is suddenly told she has to save the world. She has joined the ranks of others like Rick Riordan, and A.G Howard.

You won't soon forget her." It was followed by a collection of short stories and a novella, a life undone. She is a member of The Straw ...more
