A PG version of the classic tale, it encourages children to think before they act; it could just save your bacon in the nick of time. The illustrations are colorful and fun and the narrative is spread out nicely, with just a few sentences on each page. Our youngest brought this home from her first grade class and she read it by herself and then we read it together.
