Gun When I came back from serving overseas there was nowhere or nothing that suited me better than falling in with my brothers in the Devil’s Iron. The freedom we have found and the way of life that we share is something I needed after returning from the hell of multiple tours overseas. Being able to live the life that I wanted, the way I wanted, was exactly what I did. Living for no one but my brothers was all I wanted until the day I met her. Sara fought so hard against the feelings we shared from the start. It took me so long to break down the walls she had built up and get close to her. I didn’t think anything would come between us. I was wrong and she left without a word. Now she is back and if she thinks that she doesn’t have to answer to me for her bratish behavior she is fucking wrong. Sara My adult life has been one of controlled chaos. I might like to cut lose and have fun just like any other single thirty-something girl, but that is where it ends. For fucks sake, I’m the one that introduced Ember to the Devil’s Iron MC. I am the one that started her going to the BDSM club in New Orleans. I have no problem letting my freak flag fly, but that is the extent that it goes. I will not involve myself in the sort of lifestyle that he is in. Not for longer than one night, not again, not if I have anything to say or do about it. It doesn’t matter that he broke down my walls once. Or even that my heart has been his since the first time I saw him. My job and life are the way they are for a reason and I, for one, will not change it for anyone, even Gun.

I Loved Sara and Gun together , they have Great ,Sexual chemistry that's full of Tension and so Emotionally charged you can feel it coming off these pages. The author did a good job putting you in the right head space that both Gun & Sara were in regarding their relationship without knowing to much of Sara's backstory, because you feel both of their separate Anger ,Heartache , longing and sadness over what 's going on. I at times wanted to smack Sara for all the backtalk and second guessing of Guns true intentions , she really wasn't even giving the guy a chance , so glad Pearl did it for me . OMG that ending Scene between Sara and Gun in the Dungeon ,I am definitely looking forward to reading more books in the Devils Iron MC series , especially if they involve Gun and Sara .

Sara's Gun in the fifth in A Devils Iron MC Story but it can also be easily be read as a stand alone without any questions as to what is going on, you may just have a little more insight and back story into the non main characters if you have read the others, but it is not needed. The story takes you on a wild ride in the life of a motorcycle club, the danger, excitement and heart breaks that comes with that type of lifestyle. Gun is drawn instantly to Sara but she wants nothing to do with him, even though the feelings are there for her as well, but other than hot sex, she ignores him as much as she can. When something happens that changes Sara's life, Gun with the members of the club are forced to keep watch over her, bringing him more into her life. I will admit at times I just wanted her and him to get over it and admit their feelings towards each other! I love MC books and this is one of my favorites. It does contain some really hot sex and a lot of profanity, definitely a 18+ read so go in expecting this. I love all of the talented G.M. Scherbert' s books and this one was right up there with one of my top reads as she will never let you down
This continued the Devil’s Iron MC with Sara and Gun. Sara and Gun met because Sara was running from her father (also in a MC) and met Preach to share a few drinks at the Devil’s Iron MC. She was responsible for hooking Ember and Doc up in a way because she took Ember with her to the clubhouse for a party. Sara has a lot going on in her life and all of her personal decisions are colored by the relationship (or lack thereof) of her father and mother. Sara watched her mother pine for her MC-loving father for years, drinking herself to death and her heart literally destroyed because Sara’s father didn’t keep his marriage vows and constantly cheated on her mother. Gun knows that Sara is the one and tries to constantly prove through word and actions that he cherishes her. Sara’s life lens is so tainted, everything is blurred with her father’s actions. She takes off on Gun to meet up with Ember when Ember was still in hiding. Five years later they move back to the town they both ran from and Sara eventually sees Gun. A lot of heartache follows and Sara gets a new perspective on who and what her dad is and isn’t. It is definitely a good additional to the Devil’s story line. I have to admit at one point, I wanted to spank both of them for constantly running out on each other and not talking and/or not saying what they meant. I loved the old neighbor, Irene. When her history and Preach’s history with Sara was revealed it was an awesome moment in this story.
So loving this series. We have got to see a little of Gun and Sara in the previous books. Don’t worry, I think this books works fine as a standalone.
I loved Gun and Sara’s story. It was a love/hate relationship. It seem like one minute they were hot and heavy and the next they were fighting. Their love was very passionate.
I love how protective Gun was of her. He knew she was it for him. I hated that Sara ripped his heart out like she did. It seems it hardened his heart some when she left. I do love the fact that the pull Gun felt with Sara in the beginning was there after she had ran an came back years later.
I loved that Sara still longed for Gun even though she was miles away. I loved the loyalty she had toward her friend Ember. Sara had a good heart just had a lot of fear. No wonder knowing her past.
This was a great story and glad I got a chance to read the book.
Wow! Each book in this Devil's Irons MC series just keeps getting better and better!!! In my opinion, this is the BEST MC series out there!! The book are all about the men of the Devil's Iron MC and their women. Each book can be read as a stand alone, but better when read in order in the series. These men make their women theirs in every way and protect them with their life. This is the story of Sara and Gun. Their story is full of sexual chemistry. So much so that you can feel the heat coming off the pages! If you love MC books that are full of suspense, thrills, danger, heartbreak, hope, lust, love, and loads of steamy menage sex...then these are the books for you!!!
Devil's Iron MC series has been awesome!! Sara's Gun was riveting!! So much happening I couldn't put it down. Each book gets better and better. Both Sara and Gun are stubborn as mules. Neither will admit they deserve happiness. WARNING!! Many Triggers!! This series has darkness. Brutal sexual assault, degradation, humiliation and deadly violence. It has an MC full of dominant badass bikers. I Once they find a woman to claim, they will move heaven and earth to ensure her happiness and to win her heart, body and submission. Gun is no exception he will end anyone that harms his woman.
Sara and Gun’s story will take you on one bumpy ride as these two struggle in accepting their feelings for each other. Sara has been to hell and back at the hands of MC’s and cannot see past that to realize the men of Devil’s Iron are not the same. As Gun realizes that Sara is the one for him it will take his dominant way to make this headstrong woman stop running from her future. Their story is gripping, action packed, hot and steamy and even though you will love this couple, at times they will frustrate you to no end. Sara’s Gun has been my favourite in the series so far.
We have seen some of Sara in previous books. This is her story. She was raised in a bad MC. Where women were not respected. She learned at a young age how rough the life was and what it did to her mother. She meets Mack at the club and instant sparks. She fights it not wanting to follow in her mothers footsteps. This book is quite the emotional rollercoaster. And very very hot. A must read. I do recommend you read this series in order.
Loved it! Gun is my new man! At times I wanted to punch Sarah for being so stubborn and at times I wanted to smack Gun. He never gave up. Amazing read!
glad i read this book! loved it! its the fifth book in this series! he just got back from over seas. he is just glad to be back for some fun. he sees her and wants her for a night. only she doesnt do bikers because of her past . must read this book!
Gun fought his feelings for Sara hard. But when he stopped it was really just beginning for him. Sara made Gun work for it hard. When she was finally happy, she left. Her and Gun fought the attraction once again, but this time Gun fought harder and one.
The author can write well but I didn't like all the jumps in time. The jumps in time kept pulling me out of the story .I also didn't like that the book had the main people screwing others more than they were with each other . I found the story exhausting and depressing
Gun has seen he share of destruction while overseas but now he's back and living life the way he wants he's got the brothers of the Devil's Iron MC and his tattoo shop the only thing that would make it better is the runner who he can't seem to keep a hold of. Sara had her walls knocked down once before by Gun , not again no matter how hard it is but when her past comes back will he be there to help her? loved it.
Sara’s Gun is Book 5 in the Devil’s Iron MC series, written by G. M. Scherbert. It centres around Gun and Sara, and their extended MC family.
Sara has grown up in the MC life, with her father continuously on the wrong side of the law. Her mother died when Sara was 14, so Sara had no choicebutto livethe club way. She is insanely attracted to Gun, but will not go there with him. Too bad he possesses every quality that pushes her buttons. SHe knows she should resist, but she cannot keep her attraction for him at bay any longer. Gun is back from fighting for his Country and working at the club’s tattoo shop. Gun is instantly turned on when he sees Sara. Not knowing who she is, he is free to undress her with his eyes and imagine all that he is going to do to her . Seven years away from home and family gives you quite the appetite, and he has found just the one to satisfy his hunger.
Preach, a member of the Devil’s Iron MC, is looking out for Sara, and warns Gun away, informing him that she has had it tough and to not go there. But that just makes Gun more determined to have her. The kiss he lays on her to spite Preach is electric. It leaves Sara weak in the knees and short of breath. That was the last thing she expected Gun to do. She should realise that these MC men are unpredictable.
As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. That happens when he opens his mouth, which is like a bucket of ice water over Sara. She lets him know that if he wants a quick fix for his aroused state, there are plenty of club girls to help him out. She won’t be one of them. O course, he takes that as a challenge, and does not let her sass slow him down. He is determined to get her in his bed, and I don’t think she will have much choice if he really puts his mind to getting her there.
Sara quickly and brutally shuts him down. Deservedly so. SHe is beyond frustrated that the night ended that way and that he could affect her so badly. She vows to stay away from the club, and the temptation to give into Gun and completely be engulfed into the MC culture.
Gun goes complete alpha on her in the clubhouse bathroom, months after their last encounter, and Sara is spitting mad. One, for allowing him to take what he wanted with no thought for her, and two, that she enjoyed so deliciously. And to top it all off, he calls her Princess. Again!
After several years pass, they still have not got their act together. During those long years, Sara moves to help her friend Ember, who has also run away from Gin’s friend and MC brother, DOc. Both Gun and Sara get into the BDSM scene, separately of course, and realise that the lifestyle suits them. Their first encounter since Sara came home begins, as usual for these two, with Gun throwing his weight around, and Sara unleashing her waspish tongue on him. The back and forth between these two is tiring, but hugely entertaining.
I had trouble understanding why Sara ran every 5 minutes. It is later revealed what the author has been hinting at throughout the book. The author cleverly adds just enough element of suspense to keep you on edge the whole time.
Sara’s father is a loathsome beast, who reveals to Sara exactly what a pig he really is. He set several past situations in motion, knowing and loving that his daughter could be used and abused. An emotionally dead monster who had no regard for women and an obvious disregard for human emotions.
Sara realises that Gun could never treat her the way her father did. He only had her best interests at heart. He would do anything to keep Sara and make her his old lady. He even designed the ink that would mark her as his. Once she stopped running, she figures out that Gun really will treat her as a Princess, and spend his life dominating her submissive self, and fulfilling her every wish.
Never has a book frustrated me quite like Sara’s Gun. Most of the time I wanted to slap them both stupid. This book brought out all the feels, and I loved it. If I cannot wait to turn to the next page each and every time, I know the book is a winner. Sara’s Gun takes the prize. And edgy, raw and rewarding read.
When I started this book I knew from the start I’d be addicted to it. It had a lot of great elements and emotions that it brought out in me.
“Each time I walked into the Devil’s Iron Clubhouse, I was brought back to the years I spent in a similar Clubhouse with my father. That is a place that no little girl should have ever been. Especially daily with a good for nothing ...father that cared more about his … club than his daughter and family. The last day I saw my father was two months before I turned eighteen. The …. that happened to me that night is something that to this day I cannot bear to think about. As the memories start to surface, yet again, I am walking through the doors of the Clubhouse. I pushed them aside. Those memories needed to stay in the past because that ...was something that did not control my thoughts or actions, especially when I am out to have a good time….”
Sara went to the last place she thought she'd find herself. She ended up back in a MC clubhouse. She went to see Preach who she knew from her childhood. She was looking to have a good time and knew he'd keep an eye on her.
Gun had recently come home from overseas and was going to his clubhouse for a party for the boys that were returning. He was looking forward to getting back to his ways with random women at the club and his tattoo shop. When he saw Sara “aka” Princess (which she loathed him calling her) he didn't expect her to get under his skin. Normally he would have just moved on to the next chick, but he couldn't shake Princess from his thoughts.
Every time they saw one another they were attracted yet would end up fighting, saying hurtful words and storm away from each other. This went back and forth for months.
Sara got caught up in the middle of someone bringing revenge down on her friend Ember. Gun had no idea how to handle it so he kept his distance. Sara thought he didn't care and this just brought more distance between their strained attraction. The only family Sara has is her neighbor Irene, who was her mom's best friend. Gun starts chatting with her regularly to get information on Princess.
“... I knew that Preach was a good man from when I still lived in Milwaukee, but Mack, Doc, Country, and Blaze are all good in my book, and I, for one, am happy they are set to watch over you until they find out who hurt you and Ember. You need to start coming to the conclusion that those men are not like your father, Sweetie. I don’t think I have ever seen a group of men with such hard exteriors that care so passionately for their women or any woman it seems.”
Sara did what she has always done with Gun...she ran...she didn't return for years. When she returns will he get past the secrets she kept? Will he have moved on to someone else? Will he be back to his ways with random chicks at the club? Can she face being at the MC again?
Sara and Mac have a love/hate relationship. Sara does not trust any men that are involved in the MC. Sara's trust issue stems from her relationship with her father. Mack is not ready to settle down, until her sees Sara. Sara is brutality raped by a MC brother. How will Mack react? Will Sara now accept Mack? Is it too late for both? I would recommend this book to all my friends
Sara grew up in the life of an MC, she knows what it's really like. The drugs, prostitution, drinking and partying. Her mother couldn't handle it, she drank herself to death when Sara was fourteen. Her father would drag her everywhere and use her as cover on drug runs. Two months shy of her eighteenth birthday, she barely managed to get away. Sara is emotionally scarred from her childhood. She swore she would never allow herself to fall in love with an MC member. She'd never be like her mother.
Gun has done several terms in the army and he's finally back with his brothers in the Devil’s Iron MC. He has set up his tattoo shop and is busy working, drinking and getting laid. Life couldn't be better. Sara struts I to his life and makes him realize he wants more. Breaking down her defences isn't easy but he's up to the challenge. She's a hellcat and fights him tooth and nail. When he finally breaks through the wall she's erected, he's ready to call her his old lady but she takes off and disappears. She returns five years later and there is hell to pay. Gun will make sure she pays in full. He will have her submit to him even if he needs to bring out the whips and chains.
The author wrote this from two points of view, Gun’s and Sara’s. It helps you to understand fully each character’s pain and pleasure. The chemistry between the two is so highly charged, you can practically feel it. I got frustrated with Sara on several occasions. Gun was trying so hard but she was so stubborn and continued with her cocky attitude. I wanted to punch her out. The book was written in two parts, the past and the present. You needed to read the past to understand their situation now in the present. Though this is book five in the Devil’s Iron series, it is a perfect standalone. I really enjoyed it.
Sara’s Gun by GM Scherbert a fast shooting five-star read. This is the fifth book in the Devils Iron MC series, and the series just keeps getting better and better. I have gone all week with barely any sleep as I have been reading all the books in the series, and this one by far is my favourite. It also comes with a warning that it’s not suitable for all readers, as it does contain graphic violence and extreme sexual situations. I am so sad that this book is finished, I can’t wait to see what happens next. Guns life changes when he comes back from overseas, he is working hard getting his tattoo shop the way he wants it, his life is spent working, doing Devils Iron business and then partying. Until her, he sees her a few times before he knows he must take her. Once he does, that’s it life as he knows it is no more. When Sara leaves he struggles to understand, and when she returns he struggles even more, struggles to forgive her. Sara’s life has been one of chaos, as much as she is attracted to Gun, and can’t help herself around him, she needs it to only be for one night, she can’t accept it long term. She will not allow herself to be sucked into the lifestyle of the MC. No matter how hard the lifestyle keeps kicking her ass to suck her in. Only time will tell if they can keep apart. This is the 5th book in the series and GM Scherbert just keeps getting better. I have read the all the books in the story so far including the short story in Hot Wicked Romance that should be called book 4.5. I am so excited to read the next story as this series just keeps getting better and better. The only problem is I am facing a major book hangover. This series may just break my heart for once and for all, it’s just that good.GM Scherbert you need to get writing!!! Please I beg you!!!
Sara's Gun (Devil's Iron MC Series Book 5) By: GM Scherbert 5 out of 5 stars
The story of Sara's Gun (Devil's Iron MC Series Book 5) by GM Scherbert is an erotica romance book. Gun has come back from serving overseas to his brothers at the Devil’s Iron. He enjoys being part of something, living only for his brothers, until the day he met her. Sara’s life has always been chaotic, however controlled she wanted to believe it was. Then she met Gun and all rules went out the window. Both Sara and Gun have a mutual attraction for each other that Sara is denying and has Gun possessive. Can these two ever admit to all the feelings that they have for each other without driving each other away, or is it already too late for them both?
What an amazing story. Gun and Sara both try so hard to not let each other know how they feel. It always gets them into a shouting match or not talking to each other. Sara has been raised in the MC lifestyle however doesn’t want to admit to loving Gun because of her parent’s past. Gun is happy with just looking out for the Devil’s Iron MC club and running the business he has. There is also situations happening in the Devil’s Iron that they both have a front row seat for that makes their relationship harder. This is a story about realizing what you want, however not willing to take the chance to claim it. Character development helps from making this a good story to an amazing one. Treating one another like family is a must and sometime like in any family communication doesn’t happen.
This story does have a lot or very, very steamy love scenes. Together with a lot of adult language, situations and dark subject matter makes this a book for those 18 years or older.
Sara’s Gun is book 5 in the Devil’s Iron MC Series. Sara’s Gun can be read as a standalone but the references to the past and the other characters leads up to this story so it is strongly recommended to read Tank’s Pearl, Pearl’s Blaze, Pearl’s Awakening and Ember before diving into this one and the whole Devil’s Iron MC! Plus I love how other characters are brought back from the first four books. This book (and series) is not recommended for readers under 18 or for those that don’t like strong cuss words or dominant men or even women who are strong enough to know they want/need a dominant man. This story has all of that and more! There’s a scene where Sara and Gun are talking to each other, well really they are trying to hook up. I wanted to put what Sara said to Gun in this review but as I mentioned before, there’s a lot of cuss words. But Sara’s other words are what makes me think Sara is a women who can defend herself. I think after that interaction with Gun, I have a little girl crush on Sara. Which pains me to say that even though Sara is tough, she beats herself up way too much in this story. Hmmm that’s a little too close to reality, a woman beating herself up over her dead beat dad, a woman trying to find a strong man and relationship, a woman trying to be herself. See what I mean…girl crush! Gun is a not a new character to this series and he is as tough as the rest of the brothers of the club. However Gun seems a little lost during this story and even somewhat confused about Sara and her role in his life. I would like to see if he makes an appearance in another story and what kinds of growth he might see! Looking forward to reading more from Scherbert!
Sara’s Gun by GM Scherbert is the fifth book in the Devil’s Iron MC series but can be read as a standalone. I was able to follow along without having read the first four books but I'm definitely going to go back to the first. Sara and Gun are both such strong individuals that made for an excellent story!
With having grown up around men that treat women like garbage, Sara swore she would never end up in a relationship like that. She was raised by her dad who was a part of a motorcycle club, and she knew what really went on behind closed doors. She would soon find out though how wrong she was, when she meets Gun and his badass ways. The attraction is explosive even when they got on each other's nerves. Will she be able to get over her issues to finally give in to their chemistry?
After coming back from the military overseas, all Gun wants to do is be a part of another brotherhood, the Devils Iron MC, and run his shop. He wants nothing to do with relationships and just have fun with his buddies. But when the sassy Sara comes barreling into his life, everything changes. He's so tired though of the push and pull between them that he really wants to forget her. Sara’s past continues to rule her present but will Gun finally be able to get her to stay?
I loved these characters!! Sara and Gun and their constant back and forth, kept me so drawn into their story I couldn't put it down. Yes at times it got frustrating but it just made it that much better. GM Scherbert was able to write a story that had me feeling so many different emotions. I absolutely loved it. It was a fantastic story and I can't wait to read more from this author!!
Sara’s Gun by GM Scherbert is the 5th book in the Devil’s Iron MC. It is Sara and Guns point of view during the times that book 4 took place.
Sara was raised in the MC lifestyle. Her father and club he belonged too, treated women poorly and she vowed she would never fall in love with a club member and allow herself to be treated that way.
That doesn’t keep her from being attracted to Gun and Gun can’t seem to keep himself away from her either. Even though he thinks she acts like a princess.
They spend the majority of the book fighting each other. When they finally find a common ground and things start going good, Sara runs to be with Ember.
The book picks up five years later when the women return for to help Ember. Sara knows she has to confront her demons if she wants a future with Gun.
I liked this book, but so much of it was them going round and round fighting with each other. Then the parts when they are getting along are just skimmed over. I would have liked to have seen more of that. Gun was ready to propose, but you never saw the good parts that got him to that point, only the fighting.
I did like seeing book 4 from a different point of view. In the other book, you knew Sara was Ember’s friend, and you knew she had been hurt, but this book fills in the blanks more.
I wasn’t sure if this book was going to have any scenes from the dungeon in it but she did manage to sneak one in there. To me, that helped tie it into the other books a bit more.
Over all it was a good book and I enjoyed reading it.
If you enjoy MC books this is a great read! Sara was raised in a MC club and has no good memories of it. The past makes her what she is today but is extremely aware that MC’s are usually not good for everyone and will only ruin you. She has been on her own since eighteen and once her mom was gone she only had one person to turn too. Irene is a lovely old lady that was there for Sara until her husband passed and had to move away. Later in Sara young life finds herself running to her again. With Irene always being a solid person in her life, one she could count on and turn to for anything. Sara one day finds herself at a clubhouse and see’s Gun. Gun seems to only have eyes for Sara and decides that she is his. That night he takes her in the bathroom then walks away. Gun is part of a MC club and Sara refuses to be part of that life. Sara and Gun however have intense chemistry but Sara is always fighting it. One night Sara is seriously attacked and put in the hospital. She is unconscious for a week and one awakens has to remain in the hospital for a couple more weeks. During this time she is under protection of the MC. Sara during this time gets irritated because Gun never talks to her, just watches her from the doorway. After she is released he is there to protect her but does it from a distance. There is a constant back and forth between the two. After a while of getting comfortable with each other Sara realizes that Gun is serious and she doesn’t have that in her cause she is scared for her heart. It’s a long journey but a good one!
This is book 5 in the Devils Iron MC series. This one follows Gun and can be read as a stand alone however for full enjoyment I recommend reading frim the beginning. Another captivating & gripping read in this series. This book flows through perfectly from the previous books. This one also goes back to the past. The sexual chemistry between Gun & Sara is full of tension & emotionally charged. The characters are strong & feisty with real emotions & flaws. Perfect ending to the novel. Looking forward to reading Countrys story as I like his character in the other books. I volunteerly reviewed an advanced reading copy of this book.
