DNF - I just can't seem to get into the Geronimo Stilton books. The kids at the library love them and I keep trying to read them but I just can't get into them at all. Overall this one was better than the last one I read and while it is a quick read I just couldn't finish it.

I received this advanced copy from Scholastic through Edelweiss in exchange for my honest review.

This is cute. The 7 year old really seems to like it. It was his second read through of it after reading it with his dad. He wanted to reread it with me. There are lots of pictures and side notes, and not a ton of words per page. I think all of that really helps him at his age to enjoy it.

You can never go wrong with good old Geronimo Stilton. I just finished reading this to 2nd grade and they really enjoyed it. With the illustrations and interesting sidebars with information about the characters, this longer book was easy for them to follow along. They love how colorful it is! 4th graders are still taking out Geronimo and Thea Stilton books--they're a hit with all grades!

We're both enjoying the Micekings series with its comedic take on the Vikings as demonstrated through the Micekings and the various dragon clans. Miss 5 likes the icons marking each chapter and memorizing what the different colours mean for indicating dragon clans. The colourful pictures and font icongraphy (plus extra line spacing) make this great for reading to children interested in chapter books

Miss 5 and I like to explore different books and authors at the library, sometimes around particular topics or themes. We try to get different ones out every week or so; it's fun for both of us to have the variety and to look at a mix of new & favourite authors

We're so proud of you for reading "Attack of the Dragons" by Geronimo Stilton! This exciting story teaches us about bravery and friendship. Just like Geronimo and his friends faced challenges with courage, you can remember to be brave in new situations, whether it's trying a new activity or making new friends at school. The story also shows how working together can solve big problems, a valuable lesson you can use when playing with friends or during teamwork in class. Keep exploring new books and learning new things, Qamar!

Geronimo Stilton books are always a good read. I think they can be really likable by children because they are very detailed colorful pictures and a lot of onomatopoeia through out in bold colorful words. There is also words throughout the book that are bold and colorful, it just adds a little something to the story. The story line is great and keeps the reader wanting more at the end of each chapter as it continues in the adventure.

This book was actually quite interesting but I don't like it when the books are about dragons because, like I like dragons a lot and the author makes them bad. And I want Geronimo to get a miceking helmet.

The book "Attack of the Dragons" by Geronimo Stilton was a good book, because it was super funny. Geronimo Stilton's tummy was gurgling and scaring other Micekings . The Micekings thought they were dragons, but it was Geronimo.

This book had an extremely adventurous plot. From risking his life just to find a mint was very interesting. This is a must read story and the authors series is very addicting.

This book is about Geronimo going in the search of a special medicine to help cure the land owners wife. I rated this book a 3 is because this book keeps mentioning Geronimo's crush and i think its kind of irritating to repeatedly talk about something especially Geronimo's crush because we know that he has one and he doesn't need to remind us readers that.
My favourite character is Trap because he was enjoying the fight Geronimo had with a reindeer. my favourite part of this book is when Geronimo was poked into the head with a blitzer because i had a similar nightmare of blitzer pecking me and i do feel bad for Geronimo. If i could change any part of the book then i would change Traps Plan to maybe a sneaky escape or a smart distraction instead of making a lot of noise and gathering all the dragons in one place. But i do admit that the plan was actually a little good and thats because they thought of the dragons weaknesses and used it wisely.

“GUUUUUUUURGLE!” “We have to find the wild-mint!”
It’s a really nice and funny book. The best part was when the Blitzer pecked at Geronimo with its pointy beak, and “Ow! Ow! Owieeeeeee!” It was creepy when Sizzle was just about to drop Trap and Thea into a steaming pool. Great! Bully stopped him with a yell “Stop! Who says they should be boiled?” It is very creative, and all the children in my age should read this perfect book.

I know my kids at school LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Geronimo Stilton books. I do read and love children’s literature, but I just do not care for these books. I. Just. Don’t. The pictures are colorful and cute, however, and the text font and color and size are definitely fun for kids! 😃

My son and I absolutely loved this first book in the new MiceKings series. Familiar characters are brought back in new and (somewhat) refreshing ways.

I can easily see why these would appeal to kids, but as an adult reading them, I was bothered by some of the stereotypes being perpetuated. The entire plot hinges on a quest for mint to make a female mouse well enough to cook, which just really bothered me. There were other ways to get to the same quest without resorting to lazy gender stereotypes.

And, yeah, I realize I just over-analyzed a Geronimo Stilton book.
