The challenge with a book of collected prayers is that if the editors are trying to be all inclusive without considering to the scriptural weight and appropriateness of each prayer, the result will be a hodge-podge. This collection features some very strong and on-target prayers. But, it also includes some prayers that are light on scriptural basis. Therefore, without calling out specific prayers, I give this a thumbs-up but caution the reader that not all the prayers contained within are in keeping with the Christian faith. Religious prayers do creep in here and there.
