Best way to describe this one is short but charming. Thomas helps out some school children whose school bus has broken down. Then when Thomas runs off the rails due to some bumps in them Bertie helps him out with his passengers. The next day all is well. The book has a small amount of text but the pictures are quite large, which makes it perfect for children who are too young to read themselves.
