I find it so easy to get lost in the world that Nancy weaves. The House of Terriot spin off from the Moonlight series doesn't disappoint. There is something about these dark, delicious, and damaged princes that grips your heart and won't let go. I was a bit skeptical the Sylvia could be redeemed from the previous books but it was silly of me to doubt Nancy and her masterful writing. I couldn't imagine a more perfectly damaged couple than Sylvia and Turrow. They blend beautifully together to help ...more

Prince of Honor is the first of four books in the House of Terriot series - a spin-off of Gideon's By Moonlight series. Each book features one of four H.O.T. shape-shifter princes - alike in their allegiance to their king, family, & throne and yet, different in personalities, personal battles, and the persona they present to the public. Four deadly princes with a chip on their shoulders, a battle to win, a throne to protect. Four delicious princes w

This is how you start a series!

A Prince. A traitor. A blood feud. Mix them all together with healthy doses of drama, intrigue and action, and you have the beginnings of an edge of your seat, roller-coaster of a book.

The Princes of the House of Terriot lead complicated lives dominated by the politics of the present and the ghosts of the past.

Turrow serves his brother, the King, with honour. But when his current assignment is also his personal past, it gets complicated very fast. Sylvia is the w

Wow, I loved this book. What a splendid start to a spin off series. I loved the By Moonlight series and this continuation was fantabulous. I wasn't sure Gideon could redeem Sylvia, but she did it and did a great job while doing so. Turow was the silent brother, the one who wasn’t much talked about in the previous series, but getting a peek into his head let you know that saying about watching out for the silent ones is again true.
I will just say that you don’t have to have read the previous seri

The strong silent type everyone’s mama always warned them about is Turow. He’s a deadly combination of relentless and unforgiving, and he obeys his King’s orders without question. So when he’s told to bring Sylvia back for clan justice, the woman he’s always secretly loved, you just know that manipulative bad girl on a survival mission from hell is gonna take him on a wild run for her life.

But Turow’s not just any shapeshifter prince, and even Sylvia, caught between a scheming mother and the Ho

In Prince of Shadows and Unleashed by Shadows Gideon painted vivid portraits of the eight unbonded Terriot Princes, so I was surprised that she began her spinoff series House of Terriot with Turow. As the quiet, loyal, full-of-integrity-to-the-core brother, he evoked enormous respect but was too much the strong silent type to evoke a more emotional connection. Pairing him with Sylvia Terriot, villainess in training of Cale’s two-novel story, makes enormous sense. Only a man of his steadfastness, ...more

Hot & Steamy. The lead-off book in the House of Terriot series builds on her By Moonlight series. The reader doesn't have to read the books in order (but it sure helps to catch nuances and tiny clues). Take a loner, add a flamboyant schemer and you get a combustible combination. As usual, Ms Gideon's setting takes on a life of its own. The characters are so well drawn the reader feels as if they might know them or want them for friends (maybe). I read this book (and the rest of the series) when ...more

This is a spin off series from the Moonlight series and just continues with the most awesome story telling - so much action, adventure , suspense, sex - it is absolutely amazing!!! Cale fights to bring honor to his family -and fights the odds to save them all and in a desperate struggle to win the woman he has always loved!

This is the first book in a spinoff series from Gideon’s Moonlight series. You do not have to have read that series to enjoy it, but you totally should because it is fantabulous. Gideon has a gift of creating relationships with people who are total opposites and making it work. At first I was not sure that Sylvia could be redeemed, but Gideon proved me wrong, her character depictions and their interactions are stellar and you cannot help but become invested in their lives. Besides the hot, hot s ...more

Prince of Honor
Row, once was the shy prince, teased by his brothers for never kissing a girl…but when his first kiss comes back into his life…this time in chains, Row has to make a choice between his heart and his family. Sylvia had been abused by her mother all of her life. She was reared in her mother’s image to be a trophy wife and led to believe, sex and image could bring about all her mother wanted. After her mother’s death at the hands of the Shifter King, Syl is forced to choose an allian
I'm totally ok with "villain" characters from previous books getting their happily ever afters (here's looking at you Kaleb Krycheck) but Sylvia nearly ruined this book for me. It was well-written like all of the Moonlight Series, but I really struggled to understand character motivations as the book progressed. Turow was the Terriot prince I thought I'd enjoy most but I felt like it could have been more. Sylvia is on the run after throwing in her lot with James and her evil mother in the previo ...more

This is book 1 in the House of Terriot series, which is a "By Moonlight" series spin-off. Prince of Honor centers around Turow, who is a Prince in the House of Terriot and one of 12 shape-shifter Terriot brothers. The brothers all have the same father but not necessarily the same mother. Turow has always been in love with Sylvia, who is half-sister to Turow's half-brother, Wesley. No worries though -- no incest here -- Turow and Wes have the same father, but Wes and Sylvia have the same mother o ...more

I'm a big fan of Nancy Gideon's "Moonlight" series, and so was anxious to get my hands on this first book of this spin-off series (note: while I definitely recommend you read Moonlight, you won't be lost if you start the Terriots without that background). My expectations were high, and Nancy did not disappoint!

Prince of Honor is the story of strong, silent Turow (one of the 12 Princes of the Terriot clan) and the woman he's loved since childhood, Sylvia. To say that their relationship is compli
