Book received from NetGalley.

This was an okay book. I liked some of the stories better than others, the ones by Pippa DeCosta and Laxmi Hariharan. They're the reason I gave it 3 stars. Others just weren't my thing, like the first story in the set by Dima Zales. The others were enjoyable but didn't really stick out as memorable. It's a good escapist read, with some stories that were pretty original considering the genre of the collection.

Absolutely loving it, these are great starter books used in this collection. There was some small typos and grammar issues but so far they have all been good reads. I now have new authors to look into. This box set is very enjoyable and worth reading. I was giving an e-copy from City Owl Press and gave my voluntary review

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This is an anthology of some first books in several series as well as stand alone books. If nothing else this is a bargain compared to the combined price of the books.

The Thought Readers by Dima Zales
Darren has a unique ability - he can go into his own personal version of reality into something he calls "the quiet" and he can then explore his surroundings while everyone else stays still. He thought he was unique until he sees another per

I enjoyed all but two stories which I did not finish as there was no appeal to me. I know within two pages whether I will like a story. Discern and Sorcery Code did not catch my interest at all. I did read past the first couple of pages but stopped because I was not interested or enjoying them at all. The rest of the stories in the book were awesome! I loved PippaDacosta, C.Gockel and I read all the Null books in the series. The other authors have caught my interest and I will read more of them.

Absolutely Fantastic

This is one of the best collections of writings in this genre that I have ever read. So much so that I've already bought books from many of the authors in this collection. Each story is unique and totally enjoyable.

Thoroughly enjoyed this collection. There are some real gems in here that I will definitely be following up on. A great collection showcasing some brilliant authors.

I've completed the first 2 books in this series so far: THE THOUGHT READERS by Dima Zales and VENGEANCE BE MINE by Louisa Lo.
The Thought Readers is such a new concept for me that I was hooked with Darren's first visit to the Quiet. I was literally jealous of this make-believe ability. I imagined all the time I would have to read every book I could possibly want without needing sleep!! I'd be there for years... The story gets really good with the on going battle between the Pushers and the Reader

It was hard to give this series a rating. There were books that I loved - Louisa Lo and Pippa Dacosta, and a few that I found mildly interesting. They were well written- just my personal taste I guess. I would definitely recommend the series. Well worth the price.

So far I have only read a few of the wonderful books in this bundle. My favorite one was totally new to me, and I want to share my thoughts:

ANGEL VINDICATED by Viola Estrella

I've never thought much about the hierarchy of angels or the specific jobs they are assigned on earth, but after reading this story, the views of Ms Estrella certainly seem feasible. Imagine if you will that demons roam the earth for the sole purpose of getting humans into trouble. Now imagine there is a division of angels w

If it's a YA book, please label it that way

Some of the stories were nice, had potential for grasping attention long term. A couple of authors I took note of. I was unhappy w/ majority being YA (in my opnion) and not being labeled as such. I don't need a bunch of sex scenes to keep me interested if it's a good story but I don't want to keep reliving someone else's "first time" and then the next story's "someone else's
First time", etc, etc. If I was in my teens or 20's that would be fine.

The Thought Reader by Dima Zales
2.5 Stars

This was a very unique book. I certainly have not read any of it's kind, as much as i enjoyed this author's uniqueness i did not particularly enjoy this book. There was a lot of science talk it made my brain spin, i do actually enjoy science only when it's medical, if it spins to something else then you lose me. The "splitting " was soooo exhausting. I literally had an headache from reading all that. Darren was always hoping in and out of the "Quiet" like

WELL WORTH READING. This is a collection of stories from a wide variety of authors and writing styles. Just the stories Feral by Laxmi Hariharan, See You in Hell by Demelza Carlton, Discern by Andrea Pearson, and Tutoring the Wolf by Jacqueline Sweet makes this a set worth having. Then add in all the other authors and that's just a bonus. And most of these are not short quick reads like with so many sets. Whether you are familiar with these authors or not, you are sure to find a new author... or ...more

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I really liked this 15 book collection. There are some collections that have only 2-3 good stories in the collection, while this one has way more. Very enjoyable like Wolves: I Bring The Fire about Loki and Amy, or Vengeance Be Mine (which was an amusing read), Discern & Feral.

If you like collections then this one that I recommend.

This is a review of Discern by Andrea Pearson -
I enjoy reading books about fantastical worlds with interesting characters. Andrea Pearson's book about fourth-born humans with magical abilities has a unique plot with plenty of twists & turns to keep the reader interested, but with enough hints so as not to feel manipulated. The writing is easy to read and well-paced with a good balance of action, suspense, some horror, and a hint of romance.

I'm giving this box set 5 stars as i enjoyed every single novel included. I find a lot of box sets always have novels I have already read, so I get really disappointed. Not Name your Demon, every novel had its own unique paranormal story, nothing overlapped. I'm so glad I pre-ordered this box set. I have been introduced to some great new Authors for me to follow.

It was a very enjoyable and interesting book bundle. I really enjoyed some of the stories ( my favorite was The Thought Readers) but others just werențt my cup of tea ( like Vengeance Be Mine). Overall I gave it 3 stars and I'd like to read some of the sequels.

Secrets of the Hollow by Nicole Morgan: Nicole is a new author to me. I was given this book for an honest review. I have to say, I quite enjoyed reading this book. I liked that she explained the history of X. I'm intrigued to see what happens in her next book because I'm left unsatisfied lol. Can't wait to see how this story will lead to.
