First of all...please read all 3 books in the Sidelined series before reading this book/review.
Shotgun Wedding is an epilogue for all three couples.
It's about what happens once their book said THE END. Because their stories are SO not over yet.

Reid is desperately trying to get a ring on Zarley's finger and she is not having it! She doesn't need some papers saying she's in love with Reid. But Reid wants it for so many reasons! Ugh poor guy.

Owen has almost the same problem. Cara is not really

5 stars for a perfect extended epilogue to a wonderful series with memorable characters.

Shotgun Wedding is like a giant epilogue to the Sidelined books by Ainslie Paton. It is full of rounding off and weddings. More than anticipated. Totally delicious and perfect.

It is a time to revisit the three couples and see how they are getting along with each other. Rather well actually. And Dev and Sarina - the last couple to get together are the first kids off the block when it comes to marriage. The

Each Ainslie Paton book is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you are going to get.

Shotgun Wedding is really an extended epilogue for all three books in the Sidelined series, and is a great insight into all our couples after the end of Sold Short.

It was great to catch up with them all. Timeline is based around Dev and Sarina's wedding, but there is so much more going on around them. There was so much emotion that I

The Sidelined series by Ainslie Paton is a sexy and unique contemporary romance series centered around Plus, a software and app design company and the four college friends who started the business together. Reid is their chief innovator, Owen is the money guy, Dev is the engineer and Sarina is their people person. All of them have found their happy endings in the first three books of the series: Reid with Zarley (Offensive Behavior), Owen with Cara (Damaged Goods), and Dev with Sarina (Sold ...more

This story is the icing on the cake and the cherry on top.

The fourth book in the Sidelined series, Shotgun is an epilogue of sorts and brings together the previous three stories with all the passion, intrigue, fun, humour and class, we expect from Ainslie Paton.

I loved revisiting all the characters. I love the relationship between the friends and lovers and especially the dynamic between Reid, Owen, Dev and Sarina. And again I marvelled at Paton's ability to convey, capture and describe the

Essentially an extended Epilogue for the three couples of the Sidelined Series. Do not read this first, go back and start with Offensive Behavior or forever be spoiled!

I enjoyed seeing all three couples and loved how Reid and Sarina's shotgun last minute wedding caused everyone to come together.

What stressed me out was all the talk about babies, wanting them or not, and I just really didn't want to have to worry about my favs, especially Cara and Owen, and I did a little bit! Of course it all

You cannot fault the characters within the Sidelined series from author Ainslie Paton. All likeable with personalities and endearments that shine.
Shotgun Wedding was another nice read in the series. Wedding fiascos, complications and the characters themselves are always great to read about. Easy to pick a fave character but collectively the characters are like a breath of fresh air to read.

Big Bang Theory meets Modern Family with a twist.
From the quirky mind of Ainslie Paton comes yet another tale that will have you alternately laughing and sniffling into your Kleenex. A brilliantly executed tale of wedding fever that explores the HEAs of the Sidelined series couples.
Readers, if you aren’t hooked on this author yet, I urge you to take the leap into her books. While her writing style might not suit everyone’s tastes, if you’re a fan her humour, plot twists and out-of-the-ordinary

Not a stand-alone book.

I'm often caught in a quandary: I hate the extraneous epilogues in books late in a series where a cast of thousands comes on board to bring the reader up-to-date; on the other hand, I wanna know how everything is going with characters I've come to love.

This book is like and extended epilogue for the series. It's told through different pov's. Each chapter, a different H/h narrates what's going on and gives me a glimpse of how the various relationships, both romantic and

Ainslie Paton always wanted to write stories to make people smile, but the need to eat, accumulate books, and have bedclothes to read under was ever present.
