What was I thinking that night as I drove over the mountain on the narrow, icy road that seemed to wind around like a coiled up snake? Certainly not that my life would be changed forever when my car careened off the side and landed in a cemetery. I never could have imagined that Chester, West Virginia held some old secrets that only I would be privy to, and expected to res ...more

I was a little hesitant to jump into Silent Whisper. Paranormal is something I like to read every now and then, but I don’t like scary books. At all. But after I read it, I was glad I did. To be honest, I forgot Silent Whisper was a paranormal book from the first 10%- to about 71%. I was so caught up in the story of the past, the other elements just left my mind. Andrea is that type of story teller. Her writing is always consistently good and engaging.

I adore Andrea Smith's writing.... Her writing is simply addictive. Without any questions asked, I will pick up her book.
Silent Whisper was definitely a refreshing story.

What is this about? Well, I can't say much without giving away the plot, hence briefly it is about girl who had an awakening experience.

3.75 to 4 Stars Great Start to the Limbo series with high hopes of what is to come!

This is one of those books that is a bit hard to review because it is impossible to say much without giving away the plot or dropping major spoilers!

What I will say is that Andrea Smith delivered a pretty unique, out of the box romance tale that had an air of suspense and quite a few OMG moments!

Silent Whisper introduces Parrish Locke...a young beauty whose time has been spent in front of a camera. She has a dec

Simply unique. Brilliant story.

So I'm not sure I can do this book justice. This is a well thought out story of star crossed lovers. I read it experiencing several emotions and falling in love with the characters. It has been a while since I've read it but I'm still swooning over Dominic.

This is a story you don't want to miss. Andrea has a way of sucking I the reader and not letting go until the last word is read. She accomplished this with Silent Whisper. I found the story to be so unique that I

I feel like I need to start this off by saying that it wasn't really a paranormal romance. Although there are elements of PR, it really wasn't what I focused on as the reader. I don't do paranormal. I can't get into the whole genre, but this was something that had my attention and held it. It was tragic, beautiful and a little haunting (pun intended).

The story begins with Parrish Locke who encounters a particular gift while in an accident. That gift brings us to the past where a love story is

And is it ever an OMG gotta read it!! I rec'd an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest opinion. This is mousieys very honest opinion of her book.
I found this book to be very well written and very detailed in all descriptions. The way the story line is laid out is so interesting that you don't realize that you have read the book until you are at the end of it wanting more and

Not a book for me, at all.
wow!!! Paranormal or not.

Okay, I never expected this story to be what it is. You might be confused at first like me but as you read on everything that happened in the Prologue unravels and I didn't want to miss any part of it, which I won't be giving anything away but the storyline is interesting.

Plus, I'd ike to know more of Parrish......continue into book 2.

3.5 Star Read for Me

I knew going into Silent Whisper that it was a paranormal read. I've read other books by Andrea Smith and have enjoyed them and the smoking hotness of them as well. I did not know what to expect from her in a paranormal setting. Though I felt in some parts of one of her previous series we got a good look at how she may go about it. While it did not work so well for me in that book it was completely believable in this one. Once you start reading the book, you quickly come to u

I honestly don’t know what to say right now. This book made me feel so many things that I actually do not know what is currently floating around in my mind if that makes any sense! From the very beginning, I was intrigued – a total page turner! Now, I have to say that I love Andrea Smith’s writing, but this one….wow, this one…this was something else! In the erotica genre, this is most definitely a VERY unique story. There was lust, love, mystery, suspicion, angst, more love, craziness and then I ...more

If I could five this book more than five stars I would. I've read all of Andrea's books and I loved them all. But this is her best work yet. It's a mix of paranormal, romance and mystery all tied together. It's full of surprises and things you won't see coming. The deep connection of true love will leave you breathless. If I could give this book 10 stars I would. Paranormal romance is not what I usually read, and when I first heard this was a PNR I had my doubts. But, Andrea Smith erased all doubt and wrote a bittersweet, heart achingly beautiful PNR that will stay in my heart forever. This was not a far fetched story for me, I believe there is more to life after death, and Andrea Smith captured that to perfection. I don't do spoilers, all I can say is this is a must read. Silent Whisper is the first book in the Limbo Series. Although I am not a huge fan of paranormal, I am a huge fan of Andrea Smith so I took a chance with this book and I was pleasantly surprised and would give this book a 4 stars. “I fell in love with you then, and the magnetic force of that love became even stronger, Karlie. I loved you like I’ve loved no one else… ever. You are my heart - and my soul, but most importantly -you are my eternal love.”

This is going to be a hard book to review without giving too much away, but I will try. This book reminds me of a TV programme from the 80’s and 90’s “oh boy!” (I am showing my age here). I also have to say that this is n

I received this kick ass Mafia Capo meets Mystery book as an ARC for an Honest Review.

As I am gathering my thoughts a whole day later on Silent Whisper, I must say that I am mind blown at how much I love this book...

When I first read that it was a paranormal/mafia book I think you could see the questions marks that were hanging over my head.
I have never read a book like this.
And having a hard time figuring out where I want to start.

The wonderful thing about a good book, is not only that it gives the reader an escape from his/her reality, but that it stays with them for days to come. For me this was one of those books.

After a car accident Parrish Locke's life takes an unexpected turn. She discovers that she has a special gift, a gift which could help others communicate and I love you, and apology or simply find the closure they needed. A Sexy Read that Touched my Heart

This book made me FEEL. It's difficult to review a book, where you cannot provide the details of the plot without giving away spoilers. But I will do my best.

While this novel had a paranormal aspect, it is only the backdrop for the story and allows closure. Not quite HEA, but as close as you get in real life. Life can be messy and never ends like a fairy tale. The main characters, Karlie and Dominic, have a sizzling, sexy relationship that does not start out like

Some wonderful firsts for me!!

This book was given to me by a very convincing person.
Convincing in that I should read it and I never read anything with a paranormal label. So I read it.
Now, for writing this review I read it again and that is a second first for me and believe me: It was just as good as the first time.

I'll try to explain what it is that makes this book so good.

First of all, it's the wonderful prose of Andrea Smith. It is a joy to read anything she writes. With that writing she can

If you are looking for a book that will take your breath away you don't have to look any further. The story Andrea weavs is so unique that you don't know what is coming next. From beyond the grave this story is told to perfection.
The life of Paris as she knows it, is not as factual as she has been lead to believe.

There are twists and turns in her life that she had not been informed of and it takes a car accident and a flash into the supernatural for it all to come together in a fantastic thriller of a ride.

To comment more would give away the story line, And I certainly do not want to

This book is one that I have moved up to my top reads of the year. Yes. That is correct. The inside story of Dom and Karlie that you will read and learn about is absolutely brilliant. It is a love story with a complete twist. I will not say it is an HEA, I will let you judge that for yourself. I really can't say to much without giving away any spoilers and that I won't do, but for Parrish to travel down the road she does, (pun intended) this will completely captivate you as the reader.
