As Seth sets out to escape the heartache and betrayal of his pack, he is rescued by Hailey. The two quickly discover they have similar views about animal rights, but for very different reasons. It’s a belief for Hailey, but for Seth, it personal. Despite their difference; Hailey becomes fascinated with Seth and finds it hard to resist his animal magnetism.

Seth is an exciting paranormal romance with the perfect combination of with well-developed characters, a unique story, and talented writing.

A Howling Roller Coaster!

I love Lisa Carlisle’s Highland Gargoyles series. Seth is the fourth installment in that series and the first coupling in that series that doesn’t involve a gargoyle. Don’t worry if you haven’t read the previous books. Seth can be fully enjoyed as a standalone if that is your preference. Actually, that might be a good thing as you won’t have any preconceived feelings regarding Seth (see below). This is the story of Seth, a wolf shifter, and Hailey, a human part-time park

Men in kilts are my weakness, so seeing this cover I was very ecstatic, finding out that it was a wolf shifter book made it a winner!

Seth is done with his pack, he lost the girl he was going to marry, and he lost hope within his pack. Seth decided he would go out on an adventure of his own cross the ocean and see what lies in the other side. He wanted to see if you could find another pack to join. Mostly he just wanted to get away from the island. What he didn't expect was to be drowning in the

I have read many of the books in the series and it was nice to see Seth get a mate of his own.

Hailey and her brother are looking for the mysterious island of wolves when they find a wolf in danger. They take him home. The next morning, she finds a man in the cage and learns that she has found a shifter.

Hailey and her family are focused on environmental issues and want to reintroduce wolves to the area. She is thrilled to find out about Seth. The attraction to him is very surprising and she does

Seth is the fourth book in the Highland Gargoyles series, and we concentrate on how the beta of the pack is feeling now that Raina has chosen someone else. Seth feels he can't stay with the pack, and one day finds himself in a situation where he can carry on forward, or turn back to the pack. As he's already spoken to Ian about his decision, he moves forward, but finds difficulties that he wasn't expecting. He is helped along the way by Hailey, who does the best she can to help him. Not only tha ...more

This is part of the Highland Gargoyles series and another good book, I could not put it down! Wolf shifter and Beta of his pack Seth thought his life was planned since he was young , but thinks did not turn out that way! He goes for a swim in the Ocean but he goes to far to try and save himself he turns into his wolf he is stung by something and is about to drown when he is rescued by Hailey, a park ranger in the Scottish Highlands and her brother. She Was Right

This is a entertaining read about Seth leaving the Isle of Stone and almost dying. Thanks to a young woman seeing him and saving him, he may have never learned that Raina was correct in her assessment of their relationship. And he finally concludes that all humans aren't savages. Enjoy I did.

I have always loved wolf shifter stories and was pleased this author did Seth justice in his story! It was also pleasing that he was rescued by a woman intent on rewinding the land. It is a lesson we all could learn by.

This was my favorite so far and recommend it not only for Seth and Heather's love story but as a moral code for the species on our earth.

Seth is the fourth book in the Highland Gargoyles series by author Lisa Carlisle. This is my first time reading this series. I will admit there are huge things I am missing and I would like to know, but the main love story can be understood without having read the previous books. Also hot man in a kilt… that had me at hello.
Seth he is a wolf shifter. He is a beta. And when we meet him he is basically doing a self pity pouty thing. His entire life plan has changed and he really does not know how

Lisa Carlisle never disappoints and this latest, fantastic & unique story had me hooked from the get-go! ... I knew that “SETH” would be somewhat different, yet just as awesome as the books I’ve read in her other series! ... I noticed that unlike many other reviewers, I have not read any of the connected books in the previous series, but now I can’t wait to get my hands on those, too! ... This PNR must read has it all from romance to suspense, great attention to detail, vivid descriptions and we ...more

I absoliutely loved this book and it sounds to me like there is a possible new pack in the making!

Seth is seething, all the plans that he had, mating the Alpha's daughter and someday becoming Alpha of the pack have been shot to hell. Raina found her mate in a gargoyle, not a wolf from another pack, but a different species! His Alpha pride can't take the pitious looks that is sure he will get from his fellow pack mates, no matter that he is beta of the pack.. He decides to leave the pack and unwi

I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review.

I loved the previous books in this series, so I just knew I would love this one too. After leaving his pack and being rescued from drowning Seth meets Hailey. These two have an instant connection. Hailey comes to believe in the impossible when it comes to Seth and they both learn together that although things aren't what you are used to doesn't mean they are bad tings. This is a very well written story and I loved every word of it

She chose someone else and now Seth decides to leave the island and his pack for good. But he never thought he would find someone who his wolf would want more then anything. Hailey and her brother saved a wolf from drowning in the sea but when she never expected to find a handsome man in the cage. Seth and Hailey come to an understanding until her family interferes with her life.

I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book. this is book 4 of the Highland Gargoyles series by the author.

2.5 stars, not quite three but not a solid two either...

This was ok. A very simple paranormal romance story- ordinary. It was short for a novel- a good thing, because if it were any longer, it would've needed way more fine tuning. If you don't take it too seriously and ignore the plot points that stick out like sore thumb, then you will get through this just fine.

The heroine, Hailey, was ok, she took too much in stride, especially if shifters were unknown to humans aside from some whispered rumo

Fourth book in the Gargoyle and Shifter series. Seth's future is no longer all he had planned. The female he thought would be his mate is now mated to a gargoyle. Feeling like a fool, he decides to change his life. But almost drowning in an ocean wasn't one of them. But his saviors are really going to change his world and his views of it.

Recommend for all PNR readers. It does have a few hot scenes, so should be read by mature readers.

Great Book

Loved how you introduced the other shifters from the island. It had enough action, suspense, passion, steamy love scenes to get you hooked and you want more? The characters were awesome and a must buy series.
