descriptionThis is a pretty good cover. A good representation of the story within. Good composition. Interesting typography. I probably would have moved the author's name to below the title and tagline and moved everything up a bit. Overall though this one works.description

description this book was fifty shades of FUCKED UP! I don't even know where to begin with this review. I don't want to give too much away, so I am going to be pretty vague in my comments.

First up I want to say that I LOVED every minute of this one.

When I first picked up this book, it was because of the cover. If you follow my reviews you know I love Their Vampire Queen, and the cover from the second book in that series, is almost the same as this one. The authors did explain that its a stock photo, which they've adapted individually to both of their series. I did not mistake this book for the other, I just thought the cover looks awesome and then committed the sin of all sins in the reading world: I judged the book by said cover. However, ...more

Mine, Forever was my first read by Kate Bonham and it was definitely the type of story I enjoy. With the perfect balance of violence and romance, I fled through the latter part of the book, anticipating the finale. I don't feel the book had an eventful ending, but was instead wrapped up nicely with a HEA. No matter how much violence is involved, I'm always after that romantic ending. So if you're into those sorts of story lines, this book is definitely one for you!

Where do I start with this book?
Mine Forever (Deadly women #1) was my first sampling
of Kate Bonham's work and OMG, this is so not going to be my last.
I am now definitely a fan of this wonderfully unique authors work.
Can I just say Kates work is very graphic and may be found somewhat shocking to some, this is a romance but of a very dark perverse variety and if you are easily shocked or offended and like a more conventual approach well you have been warned.

I have read a few books before by this author and have always enjoyed her style of writing but this book is something so very different from any of her other stories that it came as quite a surprise at how brilliantly good her writing talent is.
This book is so totally messed up in the way that it's so very wrong but so absolutely right. It made me question myself and think about how far would you let someone go with hurting and controlling you and still be able to love them because you are so en

Good God almighty!! What a fantastic book! When I began reading this book I rolled my eyes and thought, nope not going to happen for me, but then it grabbed me by the shirt front and pulled me in and I could not stop until I read the last line! Not that the beginning was bad, because it wasn't, but I just didn't think it was my type of read....WRONG! These characters...these completely broken characters were so completely well defined that you would swear that you have read about them in the new ...more

This seems to be the first of the Deadly Women series, the series title should be self-explanatory as to what its about. I do believe in soul mates, and this book shows that even merciless killers have them.

Jett knew when he set his eyes on Ebony that she was different, he just didn't know until he saw her spark, that was when he knew with his "help" she would be his queen. His methods of breaking her but not breaking that spirit inside, just giving her a... sort of

well well well what can I say ?, This book is shockingly dark erotic violent and totally an awesome read!..
Jett had me both hating and loving him and intrigued by him and loving him and hating him the whole way through! He is written as dark brooding, intelligent, broken, violent, and handsome and yes he was all of that and more!!
Ebony what life dealt to her i am surprised she even survived! But what Jett turned her into WOW!!!! perfect fit for him he a perfect fit for

When you have to become the worst version of yourself to overcome the pure evil of others.

Jett Black – Self named by the blackness of his soul, and proud of it. Shooting someone is just business, even those around him should they even begin to question his directives. He is the hero of Mine, Forever and I wonder how I can even begin to relate to him. He ordered his father killed, and is now attending the funeral of the gang-boss who mentored him better than his twisted and abusive father ever co

This is my first book by Kate Bonham and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I'm a big fan of mob and dark reads, so I was anxious to read it. And now after reading it, I’m not sure how to review it.

So we meet Ebony who had a very rough life and is trying to start over, but her only option is to work for her uncle who is part of the mob. A couple of days in, Jett Black comes to discuss business with her uncle and takes her hostage. Jett is feared by most of the city and he is very rough around the edg

Mine, Forever is the first book that I have ever read from Kate Bonham, so I had no idea what to expect. I was given the opportunity to read this as a part of Quirky Blind Date with a Book, and this book is the reason that I love QBDWAB so much! I never would have experienced this author or book had it not been for Quirky. While this isn't what I typically read, the story was really interesting to me and I am glad I took the chance on this au

Mine, Forever was a very interesting read. It went a little different than I originally thought it was going to go, but I was very entertained and enjoyed the book quite a bit. Ebony was the biggest surprise. She developed the most in the book, going from the emotionally and physically abused to the strongest character. Jett's plan with Ebony definitely backfired and he got more than he bargained for. A Queen for his kingdom, indeed. Jett shocked me a few times. Just when you though he was going ...more

All I can say is wow!!! Mine Forever was certainly not what I was expecting. It is a love story but one that is very dark and very twisted. Jett is a cold hearted ruthless killer who is feared by most. Ebony is the niece of Jett's rival Giordy and has had more than her share of trouble with the law. Together they are a formidable match. The storyline while dark and complicated is jammed packed with action, is relatively easy to read even though the content contains graphic killings, cruelty, tor ...more

I totally can get into dark romance but this one just wasn't for me. I really tried to get into it but it ended up being a DNF (did not finish) - which I really HATE to do! If I invest the time to read a book a like to see it through to the end but this just wasn't my cup of tea.

I still gave it 3 stars because even though I didn't enjoy it, it was still well written.

I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I'm not really sure what to think about this book. I enjoyed it. It's not something I would normally read and a few parts were super strange, but all in all a good read.
Jett Black is running an empire and is feared by many. No feelings, no emotions. In walks Ebony. She could be his Queen. There's a strangely sweet romance between them. I'm definitely interested in knowing what goes on with a few of the characters.

This is Kate Bonham's first dark read which I'm giving a 4 to 4 1/2 star as the story doesn't begin until 8% in for me. Its a slow build up type read where 8% in that's where the story picks up. This doesn't detract from the authors writing or the flow of the story.

The male lead is badarse! Like underworld, doesn't care oooo John Wick comes to mind when I think of this guy, only the baddy kind.

Then you have his leading lady who is a female version of him and this woman is quite strong, crazy in

OMG...this new direction for Kate Bonham is a winner! This dark, gritty tale sucks you in and takes you for a wild ride. There are twists and turns in the story so make sure your seatbelt is fastened properly. I literally could not put this book down!

This more than full sized story is easy to read because of its fast pace and solid storyline. At times I found myself on the edge of my seat! You definitely feel every emotion with each character!

The story, the characters and events are all dark yet

Wow talk about a dark twisted romantic book.

Jett is the true definition of a bad boy. What he wants he gets and has no issues on how he gets it. And what he wants more than anything is Ebony.

Ebony is the black sheep of the family always feeling left out and just a little different, a chance meeting puts her in Jetts path.

With everything Jett puts Ebony through will he break her or make her strong enough to be him queen.

I loved this book from cover to cover and can't wait for the next installment

Kate grew up in Western Sydney, Australia, hoping to one day have a pet dragon and castle to roam around in. Then the Khaleesi stole her life and she was forced to reinvent herself.

It was around the age of 15 when she really thought she could make it as a writer, and after course after course on different writing styles, she finally gulped down her fear and pursued independent publishing.
