Did I quickly read this because it's almost the end of the year and I want to meet my reading goal?
Yes. Yes, I did. 😌
Simple with great art.

This was fun. I love the imaginative parodies presented in Veggie Tales stories. The reading experience is not quite as fun as watching a video, but we were not disappointed.

Didn't realize this was a Christian book. I'll teach my kids to be good without gods.

Holy crud!! This book is inappropriate I couldn't show my kids this and they love veggietales! I don't get how this is allowed for kids, I'm deeply disappointed in the world we've come to. I would rather my kids grow up with dancing, singing and god loving veggies then be gay! my god. I've burnt this book already, but wow.

The Good, the Bad, and the Silly is a VeggieTale book written by Doug Peterson and illustrated by Tom Bancroft and Rob Corley. The story about good, bad, and even silly choices is typical of the Christian-values the characters were originally based on and provides an excellent opportunity for adults to talk about choices with children. The illustrations are hilarious and Botch Scallion and the Sunburn Kid wear black masks to further reinforce their role as the "bad" characters of the story.
The VeggieTales transform to different personas determined by where the setting of the book is. Sometimes it's Iceland, somtimes, Jerusalem and this time the Old West. It is a great story!

A Veggies Tales Spin on the Spaghetti Western with the focus on making good choices as Cowboy Bob prepares to earn his cattle drive license he is challenged by his "pardners" to short-cut his way through the exam.

This is a longer book, but has simple long paragraphs. The storyline discusses cheating and helping others. It could be used to teach morals.
