A magnificent collection of 206 classic duotone photographs of the Pacific Northwest taken in the first half of the century by renowned photographers Darius and Tabitha Kinsey. A stunning book of photography and a testament to the beauty of the region and the colorful life of its people which captures the romance and rugged splendor of the Northwest--the glaciers, streams, trees, and the loggers.
A large format book filled with high quality black and white photos taken by Darius Kinsey over 100 years ago. Most of them deal with the logging industry, but there are family portraits, town and nature photos as well. A nice substitute for getting out into the woods when circumstances limit access. Darius had an artist's eye, these are more than just documentary photos.
Excellent collection of photographs from the turn of the century logging operations in the Pacific Northwest. Kinsey captured an era that is dead now in the West, and I'm glad to see his photography survived.
