A memorable conspiracy thriller about a conflicted assassin and the threat of digital currency to the global economy. In a world where Bitcoin and other digital currencies are bringing both opportunity and chaos in the real world, Schiele’s book feels both timely and plausible.

This is a freight train of a book. You jump on board, strap in and hang on for the ride. The book’s pace is as merciless as Diegert, the book’s anti-hero assassin. Schiele’s international conspiracy hurtles us across continents and through cities via sky, land and water, only pausing for Diegert to take out those that are trying to take him down. If you like your action fast and fearless, then grab a copy of Tears of the Assassin. You won’t be disappointed.

Quite entertaining and fast-paced, not a dull moment and certainly a page turner. Not 5 stars because some of the dialogue was highly unrealistic and overly explained. I would still recommend this book to anyone who has issues liking books because it is hard not to get caught in this novel's plot.

A solid suspense/thriller with gritty characters. A good read start to finish. Great debut from Mr. Schiele.
