3.5 "off limits love" stars

This story was sweet and predictably romantic.

Brett was now a CEO of his father's company, rich and good looking, far from his young adult years when he was scrawny kid hanging around with the Hamilton bros (there are four of them plus a younger sister) and the rest of the family, when he had non, growing up under the guardianship of his aunt and uncle who didn't do much of the care.

He's a grown man now but he still carries the sense that he's not worthy of love, that

The CEO's Seduction was a good read.
I enjoyed watching the relationship unfold between Anna and Brett, they had a strong connection and their chemistry was amazing.

Why then only 3 stars? Anna's brothers...
Damn those guys drove me crazy with their antics and overbearing protectiveness. It was just too much and it did affect my overall enjoyment :(

Overall, The CEO's Seduction was a good read and a nice start to the Hamilton Family series. Looking forward to the next book.

Anna's has loved Brett forever. He's best friends with her brothers and is back in town to attend one of her brothers wedding. Brett had a terrible past that has left him guarded and unwilling/unable to commit. He's been warned by Anna's brothers to stay away from her as everyone knows, including Brett, that she has feeling for him.

But Anna is determined now that he's back in town that she's now going get his attention. Brett and Anna's back and forth,

So what's a girl to do when she has a dozen books she has to read and two thousand on her to read shelf? Well read a random one who's excerpt caught her attention of course.

And this book was good it just wasn't what I was expecting from the excerpt. The thing was I really enjoyed the characters and I didn't mind the story I just got frustrated by the fact he took so long to man up and he let stupid shit get in his way for-fucking-ever. I mean seriously what do I have to do to get a little cavema
This is the first novel in the Hamilton family series and, quite simply, I loved it! It tells the story of Anna Hamilton who has loved her brother's best friend, Brett Ross, for years and what happened when he returned to his home town for the wedding of his friend, her brother. It is years since he's returned to his home town or seen Anna but when they see each other again the chemistry is still explosive. However, he promised her brother to leave Anna alone and he's reluctant to break the bro ...more

Three stars.

Brett Ross left his small town years ago and never looked back. After his parents died he was taken in by an aunt and uncle who totally neglected him, interested only in his inheritance. Bullied at school for wearing dirty clothes and not washing, his only friends were the Hamilton boys who lived next door and their little sister Anna. Now he's a successful businessman but his childhood has scarred him and made him closed off. Back in town for Christopher Hamilton's wedding (which of

I'm starting to like the best friend's brother/sister trope more and more. In here we have Anna who has been in love with her older brother's best friend Brett for years. Does Brett feel the same way? Would he ever act on it if he did?

The story between Brett and Anna was great! She loved him and he didn't feel that he was worthy of anyone's love because of the way his aunt and uncle treated him after the death of his parents. He's always felt something for Anna, but won't

I really enjoyed this one! Excellent characters and writing make this best friends little sister story a fun one to read. Brett Ross had a terrible childhood but the one thing that got him through it was his best friend Christopher and the entire Hamilton family. He knew Anna Hamilton always had a crush on him but he made a blood oath to never mess with her so she was/is off limits. Now Anna is all grown up and staying away from her is harder than ever. How will he ever get through this wedding ...more

I'm a little at a loss here. This book started off great. We meet Brett returning to his hometown, the one he ran from as soon as he could. He lives in Atlanta now and a very successful businessman.

Coming from absolutely nothing, raised by his aunt and uncle who didn't give one single damn about him after his parents died. His only "family" were the Hamiltons next door. 4 brothers and one younger sister Anna. Anna who crushed on Brett in a huge way. Anna who always saw through the mask Brett wo

Though I enjoyed this story, I didn’t love it as much as other Ms. Alberts’ books.

Here we have Brett and Anna, getting together to celebrate one of Anna’s brothers’ wedding, who’s also Brett’s best friend. Brett and Anna pretty much grew up together, since Brett’s family was really crappy (good God those people). Anna’s always been in love with Brett, but he never reciprocated… until now.

It’s the perfect opportunity for Anna to see if there might be something between them and close that chapter.

This is one trite and sweet romance. Very stable and one that you can pick up quickly how the story will go. Brett was now a CEO of his dad’s company; he is very handsome and knows this. There are some emotional scars from his younger years but now as the CEO adult he is, he finds that he is not able to give any true emotions, not able to give love freely. There is some sort of freezing hold on him to give love . Untill he's best friend's wedding and he reunites with the Hamilton family again, e ...more

4.5 Stars. I haven't read anything by author Diane Alberts before but I plan on reading anything she writes.

Brett and Anna's story is one that has tension, passion, and angst right from the get go. When you fall in love with your BFF's little sister you know you are going to get some crap. But when you don't even realize that you are in love with her you are going to get the crap beat out of you.

This was a great story! I loved Brett and Anna, of course best friend’s little sister is probably my favorite romance trope. I was expecting something similar to what I'm used to from the trope, sexual tension from the couple, some resistance from the brother(s) a hurdle or two and probably some misunderstanding and that all here but what I didn't expect is for this book to reach into my chest and break my heart. Brett has been through so much and truly sees himself as not only unable to love bu ...more

This is new author for me who really knocks it out-of-the-park with this home run read! The CEO’s Seduction has it all in this friends-to-lovers/second chance romance. This is a fast and fun, sexy hot number that gives us plenty of what we love within its covers: passion and chemistry, excitement, not to mention the taboo of one falling in love with their older brother’s best friend. I do have to say my one and only issue with this story was the extreme over-protectiveness of Anna’s brothers...o ...more

Alberts is a new to me author and I was drawn in immediately to the story, The CEO's Seduction .  I was happy to see this is only the first book in the Hamilton Family Series.  I will definitely be back for more!

Brett is returning to his hometown after leaving for college and going to work in his father's company in Atlanta and never looking back.  His parents had died and he was raised by his aunt and uncle who lived next door to the Hamilton f

Brett is home, albeit reluctantly, but there's no way he'd miss his best friend, Christopher's, wedding. The first person he sees though isn't the groom, it's his little sister, Anna, and wow, has she grown into a beautiful woman. Her eyes though are the same, seemingly seeing through him and believing he can do anything. When one comment leads to another and paints a picture of Anna, in her bed, Brett knows she still has the ability to slip through the exterior he shows everyone el

The CEO's Seduction is first in a brand new series by Diane Alberts called the Hamilton Family. The story is set as the celebration of the youngest Hamilton brother Christopher's wedding to Nina is taking place, but the love story is between Chris's best friend, Brett Ross and Anna Hamilton, the baby of the family with four domineering and overprotective brothers.

Everyone knows that Anna has had a major crush on Brett for most of her life, but they also know that Brett had a less than stellar c

What a cute story of a love that just wouldn't quit! Anna had always had a crush on Brett, but he refused to even look at her, let alone think of her that way. He grew up in a loveless house with his aunt and uncle after his parent died. Once he turned 18 and graduated he left town and never returned, except when it was time to reaffirm to the Hamilton household for something. Like this weekend for his best friend Chris's wedding. This was my third title by Diane Alberts and she definitely knows how to write angst. Her heroes are always stubborn and this was definitely the case with Brett. Good thing Anna was just as determined. Brett had a neglectful upbringing and is now a successful businessman. Anna has always loved Brett and now that he has returned for her brother's wedding, she hopes to turn their friendship into more. The story revolves around Brett's fear of not being able to love and Anna showing him that he is ...more

The CEO's Seduction is a quick, yet sexy read. This story is a fantastic friends to lovers romance with a forbidden flare to it. The CEO's Seduction is entertaining and pulls you in from the first page. The chemistry and tension between Brett and Anna will captivate you and have you rooting for their happily ever after. A friends to lovers romance where the H is the brothers' best friend. Brett a CEO came home to attend his best friend's wedding and is reunited with Anna his friend's off limits sister. Anna has four brothers and they are working together to keep her away from Brett the boy she has always had a crush on. The book is about twenty and thirty years olds but they act like teenagers in their maturity level and actions.

Older brother’s best friend / best friend’s younger sister romance between two childhood friends with four overprotective brothers

The CEO’s Seduction by Diane Alberts is a best friends younger sister’s romance. The two characters were also childhood friends who had grown up together, a result of difficult circumstances for one of them. There is plenty of emotion and angst from start to finish in this fast paced book but it works well given the foundation that is already created by the history of
