As a non-medical MSF volunteer, it was so nice read this book and see life through Dr. David's eyes. And what a wonderful way to share one's experience. I wish I would have had the discipline to write regular emails when I was on mission! Sometimes, internet access was impossible or I just had too much take home work to do.
This collection of reports (emails) is a good window on work life in an MSF mission for someone who has not worked in this setting providing medical aid to the most disenfranc
