Imperfect—part memoir, part spiritual self-help manual—is a powerful work. Jen Butler states plainly in the title that she is imperfect, and so is this book (but beautifully so).The subtitle also expresses Butler is a recovering suicidal addict, so this book will appeal to readers who are on a spiritual journey/experiencing symptoms of a spiritual awakening, as well as readers who struggle with suicidal ideation/past attempts, readers who have battled addiction, and finally anyone who has ever s ...more

A delightfully helpful book full of nuggets of wisdom delivered in unexpected ways, at times poignant, at times hilarious, occasionally downright heartbreaking, all in a truly unique voice.
