Shoe Shoe Baby comes from a great family of shoe-mad shoe people and owns a shoe store that is named after her. From bouncy ballet shoes to super-secret spy shoes, Shoe Shoe's got the shoe for you! With colorful, wacky illustrations and a very readable, lyrical text, the father-daughter team of Bernard and Katherine Lodge take young readers and shoe fanatics through a week's worth of silliness.
This is a great book to just sit down and read, but as a future teacher I do not see a whole lot of educational value in it, unless you are working on the days of the week. The pictures in the book are what caught my eye, they were great. This is a book that I would recommend for a younger school age. One I highly consider if you are just looking for something fun.
This is a great book to teach about opportunity cost and entrepreneurship. This book talks about a girl and her shoe business. Good book to discuss various things such as advertising and sell. Awesome book with great pictures.
I used this book for a Supply and demand project in S.S and it was a great example and was very relatable. The book helped break down the process . This book makes it easier to explain the process to younger kids.
Very colorful pictures. Story about different customers coming into a shoe store to buy a pair of shoes just for them. Children can learn about trade, goods and services, concept of money, and also wants and needs. A good book to use for a role-playing activity.
