L.H. Cosway you tease! This was a great set up for the next book of the series. This friend zoned couple is crazy attracted to one another and from reading this it seems Trev’s resolve has finally broken.
”Finally, I bent my neck to look up at him and was astounded by what I saw. Lust. Pure, heavy, unadulterated lust. Trevor Cross wanted me. What alternate universe was this? I opened my mouth to speak. “What are you…” “We should fuck,” he said and I startled. “E-excuse me?” “You heard me.”
I’m left both excited and nervous about what happens next for Trevor Cross and Reya Cabrera after this one night. Forever astalker fan Ms. Cosway!

This short sample of a prequel of a story has left me with butterflies. Reya and Trevor have been BFFs for a couple of years. Reya's heart was immediately captured and then slowly broke as Trevor kept her firmly in the friend zone. And then one fateful night, everything changed and their hearts seemed to suddenly align.
They gave me those first love/first kiss warm fuzzies. I can't wait to see how this blossoming relationship will play out.

No!!! that ending?!?! I knew I shouldn't have read this one, but I just couldn't help myself. I've been wanting Trev/Reya's book since they were introduced in book four.
This novella is great start to what I know it's gonna be a great story for these two. There's definitely tons of chemistry and emotion between Trev/Reya since there friendship means so much to them. Now comes the fun part (not) the waiting....

One Epic Night is a short story that acts as a teaser/prequel to Cosway’s Hearts on Air featuring best friends, Trevor and Reya.

I did it to myself,

God, give me the willpower to resist all the sex in his eyes.
When I was in my early twenties I was best friends with a guy who, if not much of anything like Trevor Cross, certainly pulled responses from me like those Reya tries to stamp down frequently and unsuccessfully.
Like Reya, I resigned myself to the position of “Best Friend” even though every time he casually touched me on the arm or leaned in to whisper in my ear during a movie my entire body would hum with awareness. I knew I wasn’t his type, not by a long shot, and while that knowledge did nothing for my ego I couldn’t walk away from all that lively, jingling energy he seemed to toss around like confetti. If I could only have him as my best friend, well, that was enough for this shy, helplessly awkward girl’s life.
“Will you give me shelter,
Will you give me shelter,

From myself.”
Never before in my life had I been treated to such casual affection and love by a man like GC. With a quick text he would fly to mine and sweep me out of my sweltering apartment to go wander the freezer isle in the grocery store, hand in hand buying nothing, just basking in the cool air.
Or drive me up to a local make-out spot just to lay on the rocks, shoulders grazing, and discuss life and love and everything in between. Our conversations were rambunctious, and often full of emotional landmines for me, but I didn’t care because to stand in his light and be the focal point of his gorgeous brown eyes was the most epic feeling I had ever come across.

I'm still runnin'

Reya and Trevor’s relationship is like that. All landmines and saucy innuendos, long looks and shattering truths. In short, it’s a beautiful fucking disaster. And I ate it up like literary candy.

Trev is something of a showman, unpredictable and unattainable, he's also kind of selfish. Reya is his bestie, but unfortunately suffers from unrequited love syndrome. The angst is real.
In this prequel, we get to see what makes Trev so irristable and yet annoying as he persuades Reya to spend an evening with him trying things she's never done before.
The chemistry between then is fabulous, but Trev isn't yet at his best.
The ending is pretty abrupt and whets your appetite nicely for their full story.
Recommended.

Thanks for the teaser with no particular end to this waiting.. I feel like I've been waiting forever for Trevor and Reya, and god, I love this little chapter, and I hate that I can't already get my hands on Hearts on Air.

Admito que las cuatro estrellas pueden ser un poco excesivas para lo corta que es la novela, pero es que One Epic Night es una precuela casi perfecta, es amena, entretenida y te deja con tantas ganas de leer Hearts On Air que realmente creo que se merece la alta puntuacion.
Otro punto muy destacable es que pese a las pocas paginas que tiene, la autora hace un muy buen trabajo al mostrarnos el tipo de amistad que tienen Trevor y Reya.
En fin, una pequeña historia que se lee en nada de tiempo y que te deja ansiosa por tener la continuacion en tus manos.

There's something about L.H. Conway's writing that draws me in from almost the very first sentence. This novella was no different and OMG I am dying from the angst between Reya and Trevor already!

Two of the most intriguing second characters in the "Hearts" universe, Reya and Trevor finally got their 5 minutes of fame and I can only say that this short story was just an appetizer. The chemistry and tension between them is palpable and substantial and I can't wait to take a deeper look inside their minds as to why they keep insisting they should stick to the friendship zone....

This is a nice preview of Reya and Trevor's story! I am a little leery about how it will play out because Reya's been pining for so long and apparently Trevor knew, but I'm trusting that Cosway can pull it off ;)

Have always been a fan of this author but lately, her characters are becoming a bit samey and this is what I felt when I read this prequel..like I had read it all before. Not sure I'll bother with the full length book as I haven't enjoyed many of the books in this series.

One Epic Night is a short prequel to Hearts on Air featuring Trevor Cross and Reye Cabrera. It's an entertaining novella that gives you just a glimpse into what to expect in their full length novel.
Reya has had feelings for Trevor from the moment they met but much to her disappointment, she was quickly friend-zoned. They are best friends and have never crossed the line. There's a shift though and things between Reya and Trevor seem to be changing. The sexual tension is cranked up and every interaction made my body tingle.
Trevor wants to add excitement Reya's life and so the night beings and things only get wilder as the hours pass. The charge between them is electric and you just know that it would be explosive if only they give it a chance.

This novella is a delicious little teaser for Hearts on Air. The introduction to the character's relationship was perfect. Great banter and sizzling sexual tension filled the pages. I know that they would have one epic night and it's everything she could have wanted. I can’t wait for more!

A short prequel to Hearts on Air. Ever since Trevor was introduced in Hearts of Blue I wanted to read more about him and Reya. It's also the last book of the Hearts Series and I'm looking forward to reading more books by L H. Cosway.

This was extremely short and apparently necessary before one reads Hearts #6. It was given away for free if you bought Hearts #6. It was cute and fun, but too short for me to really have too much of an opinion about it. I'll be curious to see if I really feel like I needed to read this before reading Hearts #6.
