I'm thinking that this might very well be the conclusion to the series. Not sure. Although I was still quite irritated, I really quite enjoyed what I've read so far. Gemma James is one hell of a writer and I'm surprised by how much emotion she was able to pull out of me. Granted, most of it was anger, but who cares right?! The fact that I felt so strongly is just a testament to how invested I was in Gage and Kayla's story. Her writing was so on point that every time Gage punished Kayla, I felt i ...more

Amazingly Ms. James turns the heat up even more in this one. I thought it was as hot and dark as it could get. Boy was I wrong!

At the beginning, before you read word one of the story, we are greeted with this,

'Includes explicit and disturbing subject matter that may offend some readers.'

What it should say is,

"Includes explicit and disturbing subject matter that Will offend and Freak out Most readers!"

Drama to the left. Drama to the doggone right. This story is on the fast track for soap opera status! There's nothing worse than a bitter, scorned, and rejected woman!

Gage is definitely the man! Apparently dude is not only talented in the boardroom but his skills in the bedroom are so DELISH, women are forgetting their meds and are behaving with irrational and violent tendencies! Katherine is pure EVIL and what she reveals to Gage and Kayla made me want to jump in the story and give her a good o

Throughout this series, I've just had to come to terms that I like Gage. He's an asshole. He's not a nice guy, but I can't help it. I like him.

In The Devil's Spawn, Kayla has recovered from her momentary lapse in judgement. She lived through his punishment, but these two still haven't moved past all of their doubts.

For Kayla, it's the ex that won't go away - the lack of disclosure of Gabe's full past - that leaves doubt. For Gabe, he loves her - in the only way he knows how - but still hasn't l

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The Devil's Spawn is the fourth book in Gemma James The Devils Kiss Series. You must read the first three books in this series or your going to be so lost.

Kayla has finally submitted. Since Gage now has his wife under control there is no way he is stopping until he has every last independent bone in her body broken. Kayla all the while is learning new ways to accept Gage's domination. She's messed up so many times and just wants it

Writing down my thoughts about this book is going to rip my heart out, just like reading it did.

The Devil’s Spawn is the fourth installment in The Devil’s kiss series and I would definitely not recommend to read it as a stand-alone. The books are woven together like a tight knit scarf.

I haven't been so enraptured by a story this much in so long. Once I started along with Kayla on her journey to loving a man like Gage, I couldn't stop. Forgoing sleep and having been awake for more than 24 hours I feel a sense of completeness now.

The development of such a complex relationship between such captivating characters was so emotional and unforgettable. I felt everything on the emotional spectrum and fell in love with them both. Gage was truly a character I loved and hated. He was de

I honestly dont think I could ever get tired of reading about Gage and Kayla!!! This was the perfect little story of what is happening in their lives.
Katherine of course is the evil baby momma and will stop at nothing to try to break Gage and Kayla's marriage. But her stories sound so convincing...I would fall for them to if I had an ex in my life spewing the tales she tells.
The question is though, has Kayla messed up enough in the marriage... that she no longer can stay with Gage even after w

The final instalment in The Devil's Kiss Series. Epic!!! Gemma James has outdone herself, I love the first and THE LAST book in the series. THIS was the last book and Oh.My.Freaking.God!

No wonder I finished it in two days! Her writing, the story - I couldn't stop reading! I'm going crazy over this book!!

And the Masquerade Ball scene... WOW!!! Just WOW. If you have this book, you must read it. Like, right now.

The Devil’s Spawn is the 4th book in The Devil’s Kiss Series. This series must be read in order. These are DARK books so make sure you look at Gemma James warning.

Now that being said if you love dark books like I do then I am sure you will love to hate Gage Channing.

Gage is a man that you will either love him or hate him because he is “The Devil”. He is one of the most controlling characters that I have read about. Oh he isn’t the only one but, he is high up in the ranks for being very control

Living with, loving, and married to a sadist is not an easy task. It's especially difficult for the insecure Kayla with an independent streak a mile wide. Or at least it was when they met...

She wasn't originally part of the BDSM lifestyle and so her submission comes at a price. Her previous relationships leave trust a dangling bandaid in a pool. Only a small scrap of adhesive keeps it in place and the slightest provocation could cause you to bleed everywhere.

I was desperate to get to the part re

With Kayla back under his conrol,Gage makes sure she never thinks of disobeying him ever again. He pushes her farther than ever with his punishments until he’s satisfied with her submission to him. But when she finds out she’s pregnant, hormones start raging and an old enemy resumes efforts to seperate them, things get complicated yet again......Great finale to a great series!

Finally! The real Gage and Kayla make an appearance... this book was so much better than the middle two. It was back to the push and pull that made these two a couple. Kayla finally got it, and so did Gage... they both finally realized why the other works with the other...

This is the fourth book in the series and the first three need to be read first.

Kayla Channing is trying to decide what is best for herself and her daughter Eve in regards to her relationship with her husband Gage. Is she better off leaving him or should she stay and give Eve the father figure that she needs?

Kayla is tired of the games that Gage's ex, Katherine is playing in trying to break them up. Katherine is using their son, Conner, to manipulate Gage back into a relationship with her. Yet G

It's hard for me to rate this book, going into it I was expecting something entirely different. The story is dark and steamy and full of angst but I felt like it was lacking as well. I thought there would be more interactions with Conner in this book but there wasn't, it seemed to be a lot of the same from the previous books. Katherine is the main issue in this book and the problem and insecurities that she brings to both Kayla and Gage and their relationship.

Gage hasn't really changed from book

The Devil’s Spawn (Devil’s Kiss, #4) by Gemma James This is the continuation of Kayla and Gage’s life. Now Kayla is trying to contain her jealousy of Katherine. She has to endure Katherine using her son which we discover is Gage’s son to insinuate herself into Gage’s personal space as much as possible. This action is causing Kayla to act in ways that do not make Gage happy which result in negative consequences for her. I have to say that I to have a love hate relationship with how I feel about G ...more

I loved this book couldn't put it down. Gage still continued to punished Kayla and she continued to take it, but now that she was pregnant she wondered if Gage would lessen the punishments. Gage wanted to get closer to his son Conner and he wanted Eve and Kayla to get to know him too. With Conner in Gage's life meant that she still had to deal with Katherine. Katherine still wanted Gage to herself so she told Kayla that her and Gage still get together and that if she wanted to see for her self s ...more

I think this is the final installment to Kayla and Gage's unconventional relationship. This book had several surprises, some Kathleen drama, kids drama and more punishments by Gage. There are also some scenes from Gage's POV that are insightful. Bonus material at the end of the book...LOVED IT!!

Overall, this was an excellent series! Gemma James created a anti-hero in Gage, who was unapologetic. He was different, he was rough, wrong, mean, brutal, unforgiving...and I loved him! I

So this story was good, I rather enjoyed how it was a continuation of Gage and Kayla's weird romance they had going on. I was able to jump right into this story with no hands and let me tell you I was on the edge of my seat on every page I couldn't wait to see what these characters could come up with. The ending really made me feel, I thought it was done then bam I was hit with something much much sweeter and happy how it ended then. Very many parts of this story I did just want to grab Kayla an ...more

This ending was fucking spectacular!

When I first began reading this series (it was a while ago...) I didn't understand the foundation of an M/s relationship... There's a fine line between that relationship and abuse, Gage tended to blur those lines many times.

This story isn't going to be one of those stories that are meant for everyone. It will push your boundaries, push your comfort, and make you question everything you believe in. This isn't a fairytale, not a girl meets a nice boy and they

#TheDevilsSpawn, another addition to the 'Devil's' series and I could not have loved it any more. We pick up close to where we left off at the end of the previous book (The Devil's wife) and things are going just ok for Gage and Kayla. Gage is still being domineering and demanding but that's why Kayla and the reader loves him but Kayla is struggling to find herself and her own identity within her marriage. There are still trust issues, plenty with Gage being appreh

Will Kayla ever be able to fully trust Gabe? Will Gabe ever trust Kayla? Will they both get the revenge they both need to fulfill there true love for each other. This a recview for the whole series. Why and How in the hell did I get sucked into Gage and Kayla's story? I spent five wasted hours reading the four books. I read the first cover to cover, then was so disgusted with Gage and Kayla's BS I skimed the last four books. Kayla is a pussy and Gage is absolutely disgusting. If you do read this, you MUST suspend reality. COMPETELY. There are plot lines that are never tied up too. But I will say something kept me reading this even though I wanted to thro ...more

I must be as much a sucker for punishment as Kayla is, because after having spent the past three books offended and aggregated by this story, I still went on and read this book.
Oh but I didn't stop there, no no, I went as far as finally seeing Gage as an actual human. I even UNDERSTOOD them as a couple. Dare I say I accepted them?
