I love the poems included in this collection. Daniel's style is similar to the great children's poet Jack Prelutsky. I read a few of the poems, included in Put on Your Silly Pants, to my husband (who is also a not-so-mature adult) and he loved them as well. Especially Crafty Mr. Booger (ewwww! lol). I can definitely see young children enjoying the poems in this collection. I think my favorite poem in this collection is the one entitled None Too Clever (in fact, it really is a clever poem!).
