Brilliantly creative, an engaging read, Beautiful portrait of women's friendships with a serious and nuanced twist on contentious issues.

So, in full disclosure, I wrote this book. Sometimes, when I'm at a reading and looking at a few pages that I haven't seen in ages, I think it's pretty funny. People have told me that they find it very moving, a page-turner with two powerful female protagonists that are both tough and relatable and a total mess. So true.
