These books get better and better with each installment. Backbiting, treachery, duplicitous behavior....and that's just the Inquisitors. Wait till the supernatural get involved.

I've enjoyed all the books in this series. Lincoln Farish is ringmaster of an amazing menagerie of monsters with a combat veteran's eye towards killing or being killed by them. Magic, guns brotherhood and politics, which of these can cause the most mayhem? Read The Vampire of Rome and decide for yourself.

I absolutely adore the Inquisitor Series, and Lincoln Farish didn't disappoint. His books are gripping and imaginative every time.
