This is such a wonderful read for all (young to the old). I have read many Christmas stories that have featured Santa and Rudolph and maybe some of the other reindeer but I have never imagined Vixen and Comet having a fawn of their own.

Which, I had an enjoyable time getting to know Fawn and her friends Snowboy and Bunny. Who knew that snowmen exercised. These three friends did have quite the journey as they explored. They even met other intriguing characters along the way. The big man himself e

A delightful and charming book for the young reader...

More often than not children relate themselves with the characters of a good story. In such circumstances, reading fiction can help them to get inspiration from the characters. These stories often portray real life implications through anecdotes, and as such makes it easier for them to understand the complex aspects of life. Moreover, reading these stories at regular intervals can actually help them to develop a positive outlook towards life,

The Adventures of Fawn: ‘Til the Last Snowflake Falls written by Al E. Boy is a fun-filled children’s adventure book. The story follows Fawn who at the beginning of the book seems like a whiney reindeer, but she is a likable character who is also the daughter of Comet and Vixen! I found the story to be a cute read and liked that it had to do with Santa Claus and the magic of Christmas. Adding elves and a talking snow boy into the story really made you feel like it was Christmas time.

This book is AMTASTIC! That’s amazing and fantastic.. a word I learned from this book. This is such a charming book with pretty awesome hand-drawn pictures. The only reason why it’s not getting 5 stars is because of it’s length, I do feel it’s a little too long for a kids’ book.

So, Comet and Vixen, the famous reindeer, have a baby and that baby’s name is Fawn. Fawn is a little spoiled, stubborn, and has a huge attitude. She decides that her parents, despite pulling Santa’s sleigh for years, know

This feel-good holiday fantasy is a recommended read for kids, tweens and younger teens, but it is also an enjoyable read for adult readers, too. Embrace the magic of Christmas, visit the North Pole, and meet the young, curious, and bored reindeer, Fawn. Fawn’s craving for excitement and adventure is insatiable. She figures out how to escape from the stable at the North Pole, venturing out into the world against the explicit wishes of her concerned but absent parents.

As a teacher of 5-7 year olds I am always on the lookout for books that have a strong, positive message and I was delighted that The Adventures of Fawn: 'Til the Last Snowflake Falls' is perfect for that. A story about a lonely fawn, desperate for adventures and friends, living inside Santa's village mixes both the magic and wonder of Christmas with an exciting tale of peril and adventure. Alongside there is a wonderful story of friendship and kindness, giving ample opportunities for discussion ...more
Book Review originally published here:

I was hooked when I read the synopsis that said the story is set on the North Pole. Fawn is the main character (hence the series title), and she’s a reindeer – the daughter of Comet and Vixen, the famous reindeers of Santa, to be precise. She spends most her time alone in the stables at Santa’s Village, and she’s dreadfully bored. Although her parents warn her she’s too young to go out exploring on her own, Fawn sneak

This is an entertaining tale of a precocious young reindeer looking for friends, freedom, excitement, and whatever is beyond Santa’s village where she lives. Through her many brushes with danger, she discovers the true value of friendship, family and the life she has. The story also includes some very imaginative descriptions of life and the goings-on inside Santa’s Village.

This was a whimsical and interesting collection of novels. The author wrote a novel that was very easy to follow for children. There was a great use of description and imagery to keep the readers attention.

I loved the Christmas aspect of the story. It was a great read for children for this time of the year.

A classic tale of the power of friendship.
Fawn, a baby reindeer, is sooooo very bored spending all her days in the stable. There's no one around
her age to play with, and she is not allowed to go outside. It's just TOO dangerous according to her
parents (Comet and Vixen). But her parents get to leave every day and she has had enough! What could
possibly be so dangerous out there? So she sneaks out one day, makes two adorable friends,....but gets
way more than she bargained for.

The Adventures of Fawn: Til the Last Snowflake Falls is my new favorite Christmas book. It has everything needed to become a Holiday classic. The characters are magical. Dr. Mary Weather has lost her Christmas spirit. With the help of Fawn, Snowboy, Bunny, and the others, that spirit is revived and thriving once more.

Captain Kemp and Higgins represent all that’s wrong with the world: greed, meanness, avarice, lies, and more. Santa and Wajik the Wizard, along with all the animals work together to

There is so much to attract the reader to this book. The title for one. You wonder who is Fawn and what is it about 'Til The Last Snowflake Falls? Another thing is the pictures that go with the story, hand drawn pictures and the characters , which are reindeer can be imagined to be so cute and sweet. You have Comet and Vixen and their sweet little baby, Fawn. As most kids, parents don't know anything and Fawn things she knows it all. So she keeps sneaking out of Santa's Village and e

Written for younger readers, this is a North Pole adventure. It is all about friendship and the dangers of curiosity. Fawn is lonesome. Her parents leave her when they go about their daily lives and preparing for reindeer games. The elves are lovable but the two assigned closest to her each day are Forgetful. They don't notice what Fawn is up too. From them she learns how to get away to the exciting and dangerous outside world.
For the first time, Fawn makes friends. Together these friends have

I recently read "'Til the Last Snowflake Falls" by Al E. Boy. The book follows the adventures of Fawn, a young reindeer who lives with her mom and dad, Vixen and Comet, in Santa's reindeer stable.
The book is both a 'coming of age' story and a fantasy about what life at the North Pole is like. If you like Anne of Green Gables, and enjoy Christmas wholeheartedly, then this is your and your children's book.
Full of cliffhanging moments, yet never scary, the book is about friendship and the magic fou

These are such fun characters for children to read about. There is a wonderful cast in this novel and there are plenty of interesting twists to keep the kids interested in each
While my children could not read these stories themselves, they are a bit younger, they were great stories that I was able to read to them and we all enjoyed.

The Adventures of Fawn: ‘Til the Last Snowflake Falls by Al E. Boy is a whimsical fantasy chapter book that would be great for elementary readers. Young Fawn, the reindeer child of Comet and Vixen, lives at the North Pole in Santa’s Village. She desperately wants to break free of her confining stall and find adventure. She wants to make friends beyond her parents and the elves. One day, while Comet are Vixen are off training for the reindeer games, she does just that. She has slyly spied how he ...more

‘The Adventures of Fawn: 'Til the Last Snowflake Falls’ is a thrilling fantasy book that has characters which are adored by young readers. The book follows the story of Fawn, a young reindeer who disliked how her parents treated her like a baby. Life in Santa’s village was becoming dull for Fawn. She yearned to explore other areas and learn about stuff in the outside world. I loved how determined she was. The poor reindeer imagined herself as mature enough for the world yet her parents still fel ...more

Life was lonely for Fawn. Worse than that, it was boring. As the only young deer in Santa’s village, Fawn frequently wished for some adventure and excitement in her life, but her parents rarely let her out of their sight. One day though, she manages to sneak out of the village and finally makes her very first friends, Snowboy and Bunny. From there, Fawn’s life changes dramatically over the course of just a few days as she learns about friendship, love, and both the good and the bad that lives in ...more

Animals are such spectacular creatures and the entire animal kingdom should be well protected by us humans. It’s such a shame that greedy individuals exist, which makes it a challenge for the animals to flourish. Why must most of us believe that their lives aren’t just as important as ours? Greed is what would ruin the world if we don’t stop what we’re currently doing to harm any and everything around us. Life isn’t all about having a ton of wealth and to sell off animals like your own property ...more

Finally! A Quality Early Reading Level Novel!

The first book in Al. E. Boy’s Adventures of Fawn trilogy, Till the Last Snowflake follows the title Reindeer, Fawn, as she seeks adventure outside of Santa’s village.

This sounds like a typical setup for a children’s book. But where this setup differs is in its construction. For instance, the sentences stay close to a beginning reading level, but the story spans many, many pages. The result is a book that could easily serve as a young reader’s first

The typical struggle between a child and their parent is what adorns the pages of this book. The Adventures of Fawn: ‘Til the Last Snowflake Falls by Al E. Boy is a firm addition to the world of young adult writing. Instead of a melodramatic human child, we are brought along on the journey of a lifetime with Fawn, daughter of the famous reindeers Comet and Vixen. We begin in Santa’s Village, far back in 1849 as Fawn wrestles with figuring out who she is as an individual and listening to the war ...more

While the book title and set up of the story begin with Fawn, her adventures comprise a handful of colorful characters whom all contribute to this wonderful Christmas tale. The book opens with forlorn reindeer named Fawn, her biggest problem is boredom and two very strict parents. But that doesn’t stop her curiosity and sense of adventure. Soon she is sneaking off and meeting two very important friends, Bunny and Snowboy. Trouble is nearing and along with several other characters, Fawn and her f ...more

This book is just so so so cute! My son and I read this together, and even though it isn’t Christmas time, he was fully into the story, begging to read more each night that we read from it. Fawn is the daughter of Vixen and Comet, yes that’s right, Santa’s reindeer. Little Fawn is often left to her own devices as her mom and dad go off to train for Christmas, and she gets herself into a little bit of trouble.

In any fantasy or children’s book, it’s extremely important to convey descriptions which are clear as to the story’s plot and settings. ‘Til The Last Snowflake Falls (The Adventures of Fawn) does this and more. Lots of attention is given to even small details, which allows the reader to easily imagine the scenes, and the ambience and atmosphere therein. The way in which Boy describes the busy Santa’s Village, the North Pole, the stunningly perilous mountain ranges, and even the Aurora Borealis, ...more

The Adventures of Fawn, book 1: Till the last snowflake falls is a children’s book by author Al E. Boy. Published in 2014, this book follows the adventure of Fawn and her friends. The Adventures of Fawn: ‘Til the last snowflake falls, is a children’s fantasy story by Al E Boy. I have a 7- year-old daughter who I know would really enjoy reading this story. It might also possibly still keep the attention of my 10-year-old. From my perspective this is a quite good kid’s series (for kids to read themselves) but it didn’t exactly WOW me as an adult.
The premise of the story is great, I will give it that! It follows the adventures of Fawn, who happens to be the daughter of two

The first book in The Adventures of Fawn series is such a cute and delightful read. ‘Til The Last Snowflake Falls by Al E Boy is a coming of age story about friendship and adventure, featuring a young reindeer named Fawn and all of her furry and magical friends.

I found the book to be an excitable coming of age novel to even be interesting enough for me, a grown adult (well, young at heart, to be fair). It’s an easy read to come to when you want an effortless and satisfying story. A great bonus

Although I breathe a sigh of relief every time the holidays are over, I still find stories with a Christmas theme nostalgic and satisfying, and 'Til the Last Snowflake Falls' was all that and more for my niece and I.

The author Al E. Boy did an excellent job with the descriptive writing throughout the book, it really brought us right to the magical, snowy North Pole while including some familiar characters like the famous reindeer Comet and Vixen as well as the elves of Santa's Village.
