I read this book by Ron Stewart in the course of one evening, and I would suggest it to all people who are interested in knowing their rights and the pros and cons of receiving social security when they retire in the U.S. Not everyone will qualify, but for those who do this is a great tool to help explain the program. Obviously it doesn’t have ALL the answers, but definitely covers the most important areas and is a fantastic starting point resource for valuable information, much of which I’m sur ...more

well written, fast-paced, and easy to read, I found that I actually enjoyed this book much more than I originally thought I might. (As I read, The phase “good to know!” kept running through my mind) Although I’m still pretty young, and the jury is still out whether or not we’ll even have social security when I retire, I admire the way the author was able to relate his knowledge in a practical and easy to use way so that even I can glean some useful information from it. Quite enlightenin

"What You Must Know About Social Security- Quick and Easy” By Ron Stewart isn’t normally the type of book I read, but maybe it should be! So clear, concise, and easy to read, yet I feel like I really learned a lot! And it took the scare out of the concept of social security. Appreciated the simple manner in which it was all clearly broken down and explained so that even a total newbie like me could understand. Read the whole thing in an hour and will definitely use for future references. Covers ...more

"What You Must Know About Social Security” by Ron Stewart is admittedly a niche book, but an extremely important one for those nearing retirement in the United States (or even sooner!!). For what can be such an overwhelming and intimidating topic, I was surprised at just how informative and easy to read it was – I admit I was a bit nervous thinking it would all be in complicated ‘legalese’ but it was quite down-to-earth and explained basic points very clearly. Lots of great tips and insight, and ...more

one of things that I liked about the book is that Ron Stewart’s writing style is very straightforward. His advice is simple, practical, and to-the-point, but not dry or boring. It’s actually very fast-paced because the subjects and angels he covers are broad, so he gives brief, yet through explanations, then moves on to the next subject. I appreciated how he clearly defined the terms so that comprehension is not a problem, even if you’ve never read a thing about social security and how

I really liked how easy to read and chock full of useful tips this book was. And it was laid out in such an understandable manner, with little ‘questions’ and ‘answers’ throughout covering a wide range of scenarios and situations regarding receiving social security. I’m only in my early 30’s I’ve not given SS much thought, but I learned a lot of valuable info here and it seems very important to know… Great advice for any age, I think as it’s never to soon to educate yourself and plan for your fu ...more
