The Reunion:
Gil Davis hated high school. Ever the geek, he has no intentions of attending his 10th year class reunion. The last thing he wants is to relive the taunting and teasing he received during his teenage years. However there is one thing he misses from high school: the star Varsity football player. The one he had a crush on from the first day he laid eyes on him. B

This book is told in 3 parts and my review will be similar. The copy I was given to review had the entire trilogy. Goodreads does not seem to have that option. Therefore, I will break up the parts. This review will contain part 1 and 2.

The Reunion: After 10 years, Gil returns to his high school reunion forced to attend by his friend. Gil's highs chool days are not ones he fonds over. He was the geek who constantly bullied. The only part of high school was ogling Rip Cord, your typical h

This was my first reading experience with M/M and was quite surprised with my interest. St James' writing style flows through the story of high school geek Gil Davis and star athlete Ripley Cord. Davis, gay since high school, always had as crush on Cord but never made advances or announced his desires. At their high school reunion, Cord approaches Davis with his own desires and the duo unite.
St. James' writing is fluid and explosive at times and I highly recommend this read.

The Reunion –
Gil Davis was a nerd in high school who loathed his time there as he was made fun of and constantly bullied. He really did not want to go do his 10 year high school reunion but his best friend and roommate Katie talks him into it. When it’s about time to get his table assignment he hears that Rip Cord will also be attending and it spikes Gil’s anxiety and attraction. You see Ripley “Rip” Cord was the captain of the football team and the captain of all Gil’s high school f

This book was insanely hot. A hot football player and a nerdy accountant. Who would've ever guessed that pairing. While Gil has always had eyes for the hot football player, he knows that will never happen. But then it does, and they spend an insanely hot few days together. I'm moving on to the next book asap. I need to see where this is going!!

God, this was bad. Really bad.

I don't usually dnf book, but i couldn't read anymore. The main characters were so fucking bad and so unbelievable I can't believe I got through more that half of the book. Rip (stupid name btw) was such a douchebag from the beginig but I said ok he isn't the first character that starts being an asshole but redeems himself. But NO, there is no redemption. He is possessive and controlling throughout the entire book. Let me give you the exact quote that made m

This is an ARC given by the author in return for an honest review.

M/M, high sexual content. This is a bad boy book. Rip is used to having his way when and how he wants it. Jeanne St James has brought us into a world that could easily exist. Men and women alike have all met people like Rip. This makes it very easy to follow the story and makes the story very believable. The book has an ending that could easily go into another book or just stay where it is. My complete evaluation of the book is...

Homosexuality in pro sports has been an issue not often talked about, but it plays a big role in the rocky romance between the geeky Gil and bad boy football player Rip. Though it's been ten years since they last saw each other their lives have been forever intertwined and collide in an erotically-charged encounter at their high school reunion. It's an unforgettable encounter that gives hope to Gil while leaving Rip confused and frustrated by what he wants in his life off the field and on it as ...more

The story told here is probably my secret dream: a high school reunion where the geek guy takes his vengeance on his previous schoolmates finally stealing the attention of the dream man of all of them, guys and girls alike. When Gil was in high school he had a crush on Rip Cord, the bad boy and football player star of the school; obviously Gil has never had a chance with him and he left high school with his dreams unfulfilled. Actually it’s not that Gil after high school changed so much, he didn ...more

This book is hot erotica from the start. I was drawn to this book and every turn of a page drew me in more. Gil was such a mild mannered bloke and his house mate/ best friend Katie had helped him since he left school, he was so vulnerable after he left school from the constant ridicule from his peers.
The tenth school reunion is here and Katie had convinced him to go. She doesn't know how hard it is, then he sees the one man he was trying to avoid Rip, the heartthrob of so many both in school an

Gil is headed back to his 10 year high school reunion under duress. Once there he finds out that his high school crush, star athlete, Rip Cord will be attending as well. He can barely hold himself together when he gets a glimpse of Rip. Rip, the “bad boy of the NFL” is back for the sole purpose of hooking up with Gil after all these years.

It takes about 5 minutes before Gil and Rip, who have never had any real social interaction together, are off looking for their old lockers and getting it on.

The book contains BDSM scenes.

Gil goes back to high school reunion where he encounters his high school crush Rip. Even though he was bullied, not by Rip but not that he ever interfered to stop the bullying, he can't stop to droll over him. When Gil was asked/ordered to revisit the locker room he don't hesitates and follows Rip.

Rip is a bad boy, all leather and boots and motorbike-no-helmet, famous NFL player. He take Gil as he always wanted, but he warned Gil this is not going no wh

This is a hot jock/geeky nerd book and it was good. Gil does not want to go to his 10 year high school reunion but his roommate coaxes him into going and thank goodness he does. His crush from back in the day is there. Rip was the captain of the football team and now is the bad boy of the NFL. Who knew he was also crushing on Gil.

This is a two novella package. The first concentrates on the reunion and after their hookup Rip promises to contact Gil. This is where the second story picks up. Rip c

The blurb made this book sound like a great read but I was a bit disappointed to find that it was not what I expected it to be. I felt Rip came off as a bully and Gil as just pushover. At one point I thought this was going to turn into a BDSM read since Rip was just so controlling. At the end I felt that Gil just became a booty call since Rip expected him to just answer his phone when he calls.

High school reunion turns into fantasy weekend of unleashed sexual attraction between Gil and Rip. This book left me wanting cannot end like this. Just because Rip is a pro football player and Gil is a brainiac nerd does not mean that they cannot be together. Great beginning to this wonderful M/M romance.

Not sure how to rate this, the writing was good and enjoyed the short story but Rip was such a prick and that I wished that Gil would have told him to get lost.

A great short (too short, could have been fleshed out a bit) read. Love that these two knew each other years ago, history is sexy.

Meh. I think this may be a stroke story. I never really saw any reason to like Rip, or even Gil all that much. Nor did I see why they might be together. I mostly just skimmed through it.
