Wow...Ever since reading the previous books in this series (which I loved), I have been looking forwards to Arrow's story. I figured I was gonna like his book, because I have liked Arrow ever since he was introduced in the previous books. What I had not expected was for this book to become my absolute favorite of the series !!

I do however want to start with a little warning that this book does not pull any punches. There might be some triggers for some people, so be aware. I started crying with
Heather the Queen of (Smut)Books

This book needs to come with a trigger warning. On page brutal rape (which is not mentioned in the blurb), minor on page character death, OTT abuse by a parent, cheesy inspirational prose, magic peen and chicks with dicks.

The rape and death happen in the past and then the story jumps forward and we have to wait almost until the end of the book to find out what happened to the guys who assaulted and raped Arrow. I gotta admit that's one of the only reasons I kept going. I neede

I have been waiting for this book for SO long... I even read Joey and Lor's story as a fix to get me going till Arrow's story came out.
And, it finally did come out and I inhaled this book, reached the end and I was kind of bummed.
When it downloaded and I saw how long it was, I was jumping up and down with glee.
That, sadly, was the best moment of all the book. Why? Because I thought, here we go, with so many pages Hopper and Arrow's relationship is going to be amazingly devel

Arrow & Hopper = <3 <3 <3

They were so cute and I adored watching them fall in love. They both deserved an epic HEA and they got it!

P.S. In case anyone was wondering (like I did, and posted a status about it) this is not a 2 parter like Drew and Trent, it ends with this book. In fact the author note at the end made it sound like this might be the last in the series. I hope not though! I would love more stories about hot racers ;)

#BLUR is a book I have eagerly been awaiting since I met Arrow in Drew & Trent's books. I have wanted to know what Arrow was like, how he got where he was, and would he find happiness, too? I quickly pre-ordered this book when I saw it was up for purchase and eagerly awaiting the new year when I would get my GearShark fix. To say I was let down by the book isn't totally accurate, I loved Arrow and Hopper - loved watching these two fall in love. My rating of this love story, would have been a ...more

TRIGGER WARNING: There is a rape scene (kinda graphic? I've read worse but that's cause I read fucked up shit sometimes) and there is a death scene.

I haven't ranted in a while so when I read this book I was dissapointed but a little bit happy, does that make sense?
I wanted to read this book since I read the first two book in this series because I was very curious about Arrow, I have no love for this series, hell I even skipped the previuos book but I wanted to read this one.

The bad:

When I first started reading #Blur I was in a really sad place, it was the anniversary of the death of a friend and nothing was getting my mind off of that. I think I picked my kindle up fifteen times before saying I am going to start #Blur. I had been wanting Arrow’s book since we first met him and I am so glad I didn’t hold off on starting it because it not only immediately took my attention from what was going on i

I love you Lorhaven ! <3 <3 This was a beautiful book about two broken soul who find each other.
So in the beginning we are in the past of these two men.
I was kind of "surprise": i didn't had much memories about Arrow's story but i think it'll have marked me if i had known. My heart just broke for him, it was just bad luck, very bad time and just POINTLESS brutality on a young man. Unpredictable for me. I was so in shock after THAT scene. Bref.
In the other hand we have Hopper who i just

I am left breathless, teary eyed & so in love with Arrow & Hopper!

Arrow is faced with a big life decision, he is offered a chance to race in the NRR with his brother, or head to the pros, and sign with NASCAR and step out of the shadow of his big brother, and be on his own. Either choice changes things, either choice brings him out of his comfort zone, out of the safety of the airplane hanger he has called home the last few years. Scars and pain run deep, his past stil

Ah Arrow, I loved his Biebs self in the other books in the series and really wanted to see his HEA. Hopper was a bit of an enigma in the rest of the series, very much on the outs. Here we see just who Hopper used to be and what has happened in his past to make him so guarded now. We also find out what happened to Arrow and this could be disturbing for people who are not used to reading dark stories or who have triggers.

Both scenes from the past have unresolved elements - we don't see

Me falta algo. :-\

Cambria Hebert's books are always such great treats showcasing family, friends and unyielding love.
"Blur" was a beautiful story developed from very tragic pasts of the MCs, reading their pasts made me feel so many emotions, I cried during the heartbreaking scenes and loved and smiled during the beautiful ones.
It tells us of how harsh the world can be if a person's sexual preference is deemed as "socially unacceptable". Love is love and we need to move on from the social b

As I have read all the books in the # series , I wasn’t afraid to push the boundaries reading another m/m romance, because these characters feel like friends. When you have a friend you are anxious to learn more about them and the broken man Arrow made me curious to know his story.

Cambria Hebert is not scared to discuss difficult matters and Arrow’s and Hopper’s story is so heartbreaking. In a world full of difference, she shows the racism, the hate but also the love and the acceptanc
Ever since I read #REV and #JUNKIE, I have been anticipating this books release. When I started reading this book I was a little disappointed because it seemed like it was mostly monologue but thankfully the dialogue picked up as I continued to read. And boy just like with #REV and #JUNKIE the author blew me away. I just adored both MCs. And I loved loved loved their relationship. Call me greedy but I wish the book was longer. I didn't want it to end. I was actually hoping it would have two part ...more

Outstanding! I'm so impressed with Cambria's descriptive writing. Every scene had me feeling like I was in the book. #Blur, the fourth book in the Gearshark series is a winner!

The emotional, physical and psychological effects that Arrow and Hopper fight against are real, raw and perfectly imperfect. Will Hopper's fog ever clear? Will he run? Can Arrow find the strength to leave the hanger? To trust? To feel loved?

I adored everything about this long book. Although there's no epilogue, I felt cl

Omg!!! Totally epic story!!!

This is the story of Jay Hopper aka Hopper, a former bike racer still dealing with the trauma of losing his boyfriend in a bike crash, and Arrow Ambrose, a driver on the cusp of choosing between NASCAR or the NRR or indie racing division but also broken. The story first starts in the past when Arrow was Dylan Lorhaven brother to Jace or Lorhaven and still living at home with his parents. Arrow has always known he was gay but until the day his mother found his gay porn

“You’re my why. The why.”

#Blur was definitely a great addition to the GearShark series, one I truly enjoyed. So now you will probably be wondering, why not give it 5 stars?
Two were the reasons (and I'm starting with them to get them out of the way before talking about the good stuff)
1- The time frame. Almost a third of the book is dedicated to Arrow and Hopper's pasts. Then, until 80% everything happens in the span of three-four days. The pace pick up in the last 20%, which

I loved Trent and Drew in #Junkie and #Rev… But I am IN LOVE with Arrow and Hopper. WOW! This book is amazing! It’s a bit darker and emotional than the other books in the series and deals with some sensitive issues, but it felt totally real to me as a reader. And so, I loved it to pieces! These two men have stolen my heart. I didn’t want to let them go at the end of the story and I sincerely hope that Cambria will continue their story. Pretty p

It was so very painful and just plain ... raw. I felt it all and loved it. Oh, the things they went through, It was almost unbearable, no; it was unbearable, but so very ... honest.

It literally ripped all these emotions from me. I felt it for Arrow, felt all of his pain and heartache. Yet, (surprisingly or maybe not so surprisingly) it made me love his brother so much more! Jace was so much more than the previous books and I was so happy to have read this one where he really shined without domin

I can't begin to express how much in love with this book I am! It's very beautiful! An amazing journey of love, heartbreak, forgiveness and acceptance and the best of all is a feeling of family! I shed so many tears reading this book because the author wrote so beautifully that the reader can connect to the story!

I have read books across all of Cambria Hebert's series, and I feel like she really grew into her style as a writer with the hashtag series. There was more depth, and so many sweet, charming, and funny moments throughout the books. Therefore, when she said she would do the GearSharks spin-off series, I was a bit nervous, but I fell in love with #Rev, which is where we really get to meet Arrow. I skipped #Swag, which is where Hopper is introduced.

While this book could standalone, I feel like perh

“Two broken shards, two drained batteries, two men who were merely shells. What could we offer each other?

This book was impossible to put down, Cambria had said that it was a very long book but to me it flew by. From moment one I was sucked into the story, I already loved Arrow from the past books in the series so I was more than ready to have him as the main character but I think I wasn’t really ready, not really. This book... THIS BRILLIANT BOOK!!!! I loved Arrow in the first 2 books and was really excited to read his story and this book was nothing like what i was expecting and it was absolutely WONDERFUL!!!! I have been patiently waiting for Arrow's story since I first met him in #Junkie , and hell, I knew it was gonna be a doozy, but I wasn't expecting to be floored by how emotional this particular journey was gonna make me !

First up: Hopper ! Can I just say that I was very much surprised by this character ? It's not like I didn't know Ms. Hebert liked to give her protagonists a certain depth, but this guy was just a well of emotions !
