"You are my wondering heart's home....

Kelli Jean , again, sucked me into a world that held me captive from the beginning of Ten Thousand Truths until the end… a world where friends are family, family is everything, and love for both is interrupting…
First… you really need to read the first two books in this series or you’ll be a bit lost on the connections of all the characters. But even more than that… you’ll miss learning the background of them all and how the love and family type of unit w

With Ten Thousand Truths, I am back into Kelli Jean’s macabre world of love, lust, family, and justice. Now, the long awaited story of Deo Dahl.

Always a large presence, but still so unknown, Deo has found a bit of happiness as we have come to know him as Xanthe’s distraction and best friend. While he loved hard he never quiet was in love and struggled with feeling as if he was enough. Perhaps a second chance meeting of another broken soul could drive his purpose.

I fuckin LOVE Kelli Jean's books!

Let me start this review off by ADAMANTLY encouraging you to read Ten Thousand Words (book 1) and Ten Thousand Lies (Book 2). While you don't HAVE to... you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you skipped them. Now, that being said, let the review begin.

If you've read Kelli Jean's work before you know that she's got her own unique voice. Her characters are original, endearing and down right BADASS. (A Lot like she is.) I have to say... and this is hard because

Wow, Kelli Jean has outdone herself with this story. I am blown away! In my opinion, this is her best writing yet. Even though Ten Thousand Truths is the third book in this series, it is set apart. This story has a thrilling element of suspense that kept me guessing and in an almost constant state of anticipation. The way this book was written was a true pleasure to experience. Reading the dream sequences and how they changed was captivating and gave me such fascinating satisfaction. I really ...more

Despite not having read a Kelli Jean book before, let alone the prior two books in this series, when I read the blurb for this book I was super intrigued. I wanted to know all about this mysterious hero, Deo and what kind of tragedy the heroine, Opie had undergone in her past.

From the very first page the book opens straightaway to a traumatic incident in the heroine's life. We see and feel her pain as it happens and immediately I was gripped by the story. From there we are given brief glimpses i

Ten Thousand Truths is the third book in ‘the Ten Thousand series’ by Kelli Jean. Like the previous books in the series it has a dark side, exactly what the author warned for in the first book. In the previous books we’ve met Opie and Deo, and Ten Thousand Truths tells their beautiful and heartbreaking story.
“Opie?” “Yes, Deo?” “Are you seeing someone?” She shook her head and smiled again, and something inside me relaxed. “No. Are you?” “No.” “See you then,” she said.”

Opie is an accomplished w

So that just happened!
Three times a charm and after rating the first two in this series 4 and 4,5 stars this one jumped in at 5 freaking golden stars.

Amadeo Dahl and Odessa Powy meet through fellow acquaintances and while one of them feels that insta lust, the other definitely doesn't.
This is a very emotional story with many, many, many graphic details that (IMO) made this book exceptional. It's harsh and brutal but the story is still beautiful and in the end, it's totally worth every st

Intense! That is the first word I can think of to describe this book. From the very first page this book is loaded with it! I love this story for so many reasons. It was unpredictable and completely amazing. There were so many different elements to it...love, hate, depravity, pain, finding ones self. It opened the door to the darkest side of humanity, but also showed the lightest side. I don't want to spoil anything because this book is best read going in completely blind, but I can say that it ...more

***ARC received from the author in exchange for an honest review***

I honestly am not sure that I can do this book the justice it so rightfully deserves but I'm going to try my best. Ten Thousand Truths is the third book in Kelli Jean's Ten Thousand series. It does follow characters from the first two books and references many things that have happened in them so I definitely recommend reading Ten Thousand Words and Ten Thousand Lies prior to reading Ten Thousand Truths in order to fully understa

I won an arc from the author because she's great toward her fans. I've read all of the books in this series and each one was amazing and continue to be more amazing with each book. However, Deo and Opie's story was so good that I never expected the twists and turns that these characters would endure. the growth of these characters throughout the story was absolutely fabulous. I can't wait to see where these characters go with each new story Kelli writes.

Oh my goodness, what a story. I started this book and just sat and sat and sat, reading. I could not put it down. The things that Opie went through... Just wow. Then she meets Deo, Xanthe's ex.
Things start to look up, and Opie and Deo are happy and planning a future until Opie's past comes back to haunt her in a way she could never have imagined.
Wow... Such a great story with a bit of dark to it, love, angst, conflict, and a HEA. Just lov

6+++ 'MY AMADEO' STARS!

My brain is a scattered mess of mush at the moment and I don't know how I'm even forming words adequately right now to write this review.

Ten Thousand Truths is the third installment in the Ten Thousand series, and Kelli Jean's best work yet! This book will have you on the edge of your seat, glued to the spot, not wanting to put it down for one bloody moment!

OH. MY. GOSH. I loved this book. Kelli is new to me as an author and I was blown away by this book. I hadn't even read the other two books in this series when I read the blurb for this one and knew I had to read it. Best decision ever. Ten Thousand Truths has so many layers to it. It's somewhat dark.... There could be triggers for certain readers. It's not pretty, it's messy and disturbing on so many levels and the suspense and thrilling moments will make your heart race. I review the same way that I like to enter a book. I want to know if it is a happy book, an angsty book, a light book or a heavy book but I don't want to know any plot details.

Ten Thousand Truths is the 3rd book in the series. Technically I think you could almost read without the first 2 because each book focuses on a new couple, but I really think that because of shared characters and back stories, you need to start with Ten Thousand Words. Although this was my favorite in the series, really t

Ten Thousand Truths brings me back to Kelli Jean’s world that I love and so many emotions flavor this story and in this book, it’s the awaited story of Deo Dahl.

Deo has long been this enigma that has been there. Always there, always large and quiet, I have wondered who he is. I mean, I know he is Xanthe’s best friend but he is he really? Its like he is this broken soul in search of peace. Then we meet his half-“ Opie” and there is the ahh moment. Opie has this terrible tragedy in her past which

This book will make you cry. It will gut you like no other. I can't even describe the emotions after reading Kelli Jean's heartfelt novel. I have to get myself together before I write my review. Totally horrified, obliterated and inspired after turning the last page. My God! What did I just read???

Reviews from the Heart (Kimberly Anne)
This is an incredibly complex and highly addictive second chance story that I couldn’t get enough of! Odessa “Opie” has had a difficult life and has been through some things that usually only live in nightmares. She’s been through literal hell and has lost everything in the process and her life is in danger even now. It’s difficult for her to let anyone in since each time she has in the past it has cost her dearly. She’s had a bit of a thing for her best friend’s boyfriend ever since the day she ...more

Here, in his arms, with his heartbeat, he was simply my Amadeo, and I was just… his. Not the broken, wandering soul trying to find her place in the world.

Wow! What an incredible book this was! I’ve been looking forward to reading about Deo bloody Dahl since we first met him in Ten Thousand Words last year and let me tell you, his and Opie’s story surpassed any expectation that I had going into it! You can read this book as a standalone, for sure, but do yourself a favor and start with Ten Thou

Fantastic

The author weaves a beautiful and dark tapestry in this story. The Prologue alone is a work of art. I plan to read the story many times over the years.

I am not sure I can accurately put down in words how amazing this story is. Opie has been living a shadow of a life. Living through the past and unable to move on. Deo is someone Opie has known for years but never spent any time with him. When the actually meet and spend time together, is a story you must read. This story of two people trying to tackle the ghosts of a past and trying to live a happy life was so full of emotion and a story line so well done I could not put it down. Be prepared it ...more

Ten Thousand Truths is the 3rd book in the Ten Thousand series. While it can be read as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading Ten Thousand Words and Ten Thousand Truths prior to this...they do not disappoint.

3.5* read.

This is the first book I've read by this author and although this book is part of a series it can be read as a standalone which is what I did and I didn't feel confused or lost at any point in the story.

There is a dark side to this book and so much emotion from the very first chapter that you go on a complete emotional rollercoaster throughout this book.

Ever since I read book one in Kelli Jean’s “Ten Thousand Series” I’ve been a huge fan. Having starting this by chance and recommendation, I didn’t expect to love it this much. But with Ten Thousand Truths Kelli Jean has written herself into my Top Reads of 2016. I can’t not love a book I stayed up until 3am to finish because I just could not put it down.

I have known since I first picked up one of her books that Kelli Jean was a literary goddess but I swear she just keeps getting better and better with each word she writes. She absolutely destroyed me with Ten Thousand Words. I was her captive from the very first page. The amount of emotion packed into those pages is astounding. I ran the gamut of them. Normally I shy away from books that touch on these kinds of topics because I have triggers but I was able to read this without problems because ...more

This is the third book in this series. It is my favorite one of them all. The horrors Odessa lived through are unbelievable but she persevered through them all.
Deo also has a past that still affects him in his everyday life. He is also part of a secret group for justice.
This book is an emotional mess. You will laugh, cry, and just feel for them. It is also loaded with suspense. It takes a lot to process what is going on.

If you are going to read this book start at the first book in the series.
